This week I began my name change with a good friend's help that was a professional lawyer. This is why I changed my user name with the assistance of Lori. Once the process started it takes between 6-8 weeks, much of this has too do with Judge availability and public postings. My therapist is writing a letter for me to give to DMV so I can also change my gender from M to F. She is on their approval list at the DMV for doing this.

I'm gonna try to get another game going here. For this one you post 3-4 lines from a famous work that you enjoy. Nothing super obvious, and the next person has to guess what it is. Fairly simple right? It can be poetry, short stories, plays, novels, or whatever as long as it is the written word. No quotes from movies and TV that are only in the cinematic medium. Ready? GO! In faith I do not love thee with mine eyes for they in thee a thousand errors note but tis my heart that loves what they despise who in despite of view is pleased to dote

I thought it would be interesting to see how wide the map here is. I'm American. Central America to be exact. I'm just curious what countries we have members from. If you want to give a little more info like I did, then go for it. Zip codes should probably be avoided though.😋 Also I'm curious for those that are from one country but not living there. Say you're British, but you live in Italy. That kind of thing. So where are we all at? Let's get the ball rolling! I'm looking for over 1 billion replies to this topic, so lets get the ball rolling! (For those flabbergasted, that was a joke.)

There's a site I have been to a thousand times over the years whenever I needed a chuckle. It's Bone Land. It has all sorts of flash on it, a lot of interactive stuff. The main character throughout the site it an idiot by the name of Jeb. There's tons of stuff at the site. If you want a recommendation I say check out The Court Of Judge Hellfire, and the town of Bumblescum. It's worth the visit. And go to the classic stuff. Some of it can get a little what some would call inappropriate, but most of it is just good humor.

I changed my number about a month and a half ago. After I changed it I started getting calls from literally all over the world. Colombia, Peru, Canada, Tuvalu, and virtually every state in the US. Also someone stole my number to use on their Facebook account. I finally got tired of it, and went back and changed it again, hoping the problem would stop. I even got a new sim card installed. It didn't help. I'm still getting these calls. With the first change I was thinking that, due to where a lot of the calls were coming from, it was an old number that was previously associated with someone involved in drug running. I've been there and never want to go back. This newest num…

Sometimes it's all too easy to be cynical. We see the "Top 1%" raking in obscene amounts of money, our politicians snubbing the laws for their own benefit, corporations raping the ecosystem and employees for the benefit of senior management and, let's face it, the Top 1%. So, when I see something very positive I am overjoyed and want to share it. "Net Neutrality" is something I understand at a gut level: it treats the Internet as a freeway system where all traffic has equal priority to reach end users without pay-for-special-service "lanes" that would enable (or hinder) selected traffic reaching its destinations faster or slower. It's absolutely critical and fundamen…

I don’t know if anyone already knew this, but I just found out that Chuck Norris is HEAVILY bigoted against the entire LGBTQ+ community. He thinks we’re all sick deviants. After finding this out, I am getting rid of everything I have that he is in. I used to love Walker Texas Ranger. No more can I bring myself to watch it. In my opinion? HE is the sick 🤬

Many of us make promises/commitments to ourselves for the new year whether we keep them on not is a moot point, at least we try. Personally I had big ones the past two years which all pointed to one end-point, toss out the male and let the female emerge. For 2016, I am never bringing up my old male self in conversation unless there is a need too so to be honest.Get more in gear to teach personal protection to the LGBT community and females. This is rather huge in that I may end up teaching in other states or countries. What are yours?

I've been trying to keep up with what's going on, as I'm sure many of you are as well. It's unimaginable to me that a man, who was welcomed at the door, would walk in and kill 49 innocent people who were simply praying. He was an admitted white supremacist, which is sickening. He chose Christchurch for some reason, that I still don't get. I've tried finding his manifesto, so that maybe I could figure out why, but I'm guessing it's been removed from the net. But what kind of sick monster would do this? Did the church attack him and he was taking revenge? No. He was and is a twisted loser. There's even a YouTuber telling people to shut up when they say "prayers and thoughts…

Just venting, I have been vaping for quite a few years, and have just discovered it is the culprit in my increased blood pressure. Switched to zero nic e-juice and for the last few days I feel like i'm dopey in the head, like a hangover, and agitated as hell. Not really related to anything here, just venting!

No topic should ever be closed. That's my opinion. Even our dissenters have a voice and should be given a voice. Horrible as the things that are said may be we need to give a voice so we can debate a topic that needs debate. How else will we show the reality unless we allow to be exhibited the lack of reality. Hatred of us is a reality. Through education we change that view of hatred, but we must let that hatred exhibit itself and then others who view it will see it as ludicrous or valid.

Subject: Thank Starbucks Hi, Starbucks stuck their neck out to publicly support the right of all people to marry, regardless of the gender of their partner. Now they are under attack by an anti-equality group, who has promised a global boycott. I just signed a thank you card to Starbucks for standing up for marriage equality and thought you might want to join me. http://pol.moveon.org/thankstarbucks/?r_by=-22615851-y65JeVx&rc=pac_thankstarbucks_letter.email.g1 Thanks!

The stats might not all be correct, and it's a Jim Carrey tweet that Jim Carrey didn't really tweet, but it's funnier than heck: "@ItIsJimCarrey - Gay marriage is legal in 6 states, but having sex with a horse is legal in 23 states. Good job, America." Source: @ItIsJimCarrey, official parody account. No affiliation with actor and funny-man, Jim Carrey.

I have to say that I find the release of the Nunes memo and potential threats to Rosenstein, Mueller, and others deeply disturbing. This recent Fresh Air show gives me confidence that regardless of what Trump orchestrates we will eventually see justice: Mueller's Reputation In Washington Is 'Stunningly Bipartisan,' Journalist Says

Cops often get a bad rap - especially from a lot of baby boomers like myself, and even more by those who were of prime age during the "hippy" era. It's not that baby boomers are criminals...it just wasn't cool to like the cops. And of course, we here at TGG, often condemn some police for their mistreatment of GLBT people. But every once in a great while, ya gotta give credit where credit is due. Being that we are (at least in the U.S.) officially into the holiday season...when I ran across this story, I thought it was one worth sharing. -dml Dylan Stableford, 11.29.2012 "It was freezing out, and you could see the blisters on the man's feet," DePrimo, a three…

This is far from humorous, but this announcement brings back so many memories. Here's a link to the story: Keith Emerson, ’70s Rock Showman With a Taste for Spectacle, Dies at 71 My friends and I were big fans of ELP back in the day. We saw them at the San Francisco Civic Auditorium in '72 or '73 - it was fantastic! Our seats (not that anyone sat much) were about four or five rows back from center stage. I missed catching a white Hammond B3 key by about an arms length that Keith threw into the audience after stabbing rather large knives into his keyboard. Very fun. Very LOUD! Boom! As he rocked that organ back and forth on a corner, only to let it crash onto the stage.…

So asking for some positive energy...prayer ....whatever works for you. My 14 year old dog, who is the love of my life, suffered a stroke on Thursday. His left legs are very weak. He turns out his left front leg to the point it looks like it should break. I have been told he is not in pain. I did just give him a warm bath and massage. That seemed to help. It's times like this that I wish I had a support system

This post has nothing to do with transgender issues nor is it humorous. I am very saddened to read this about and from Oliver Sacks this morning in the NYT: http://www.nytimes.com/2015/02/19/opinion/oliver-sacks-on-learning-he-has-terminal-cancer.html?action=click&pgtype=Homepage®ion=CColumn&module=MostViewed&version=Full&src=mv&WT.nav=MostViewed I've always enjoyed his books and writing. He's erudite, interesting, and has a wonderful and enthusiastic voice that I find inspirational. I wish him the best in the coming months and will certainly buy and read his autobiography when it's released. Emma

Well, it’s come to a point that we can’t come back from. I have no choice but to give up my macaw. His screaming has severely affected my psyche. Last night Adrianne had to drive my wheelchair for me to the bedroom because I was paralyzed in it. Then she had to walk me into the bathroom to take a shower. But that’s not the worst of it. My nerves and mind were hit so hard that I actually had a seizure in the shower. Luckily I have a shower chair, and it’s a relatively small shower stall. So I didn’t get hurt. But she decided that if he’s causing me to have seizures, then it’s time for him to go. So we’re going to have to say goodbye to him. I don’t want to let him go, beca…

Well, dealing with my old dog that has been sick for 3 days, and I don't have the money for vet bills, my dad who is getting worse, my vehicle that isn't working right and now, going to physical therapy for a pinched nerve in my back...and still having to work. Other than that, life is great.
