I have been the primary care giver for my parents for the past 5+ years Mom passed May 1 2007 Dad Just passed Jan 9 2009. My wife and I were talking about the new future we now face. I brought up SRS and Lizzy said it’s something you have wanted a long time and you will end up doing it you might as well get it done. We were sitting in Starbucks (yes there is a Starbucks in the Bahamas and tears just poured out of my eyes. She then said she wants me to be happy but she is not licking and smiled. So now begins which would be the best choice of surgeon and surgical technique and time to aggressively get my body back in shape (which I was going to do now anyway). As I unders…

This One is worth reading about.... I have tried something that very few people may have the energy for, but it was very interesting. I have posted more detailed information in my blog on breast stimulation but I am not sure the general public can view it. To summarize what I have done is related to Male Lactation information on the web. I discovered wonderful feelings by using a breast pump that my wife no longer used since she had weaned our latest child off, little over a year ago. I would have paid for this information long ago, because it was so helpful but I learned through experimentation and the little bit of info online. I probably could make money…

So...I'm new to this forum. Thought I would get that out of the way. I've been on HRT now since 2005. Lately I'm noticing that no matter what I do I keep gaining weight. When I started HRT I was at 145 lbs. I've been low carb ever since 2002 and I don't cheat. I'm 53 now and I noticed the weight gain started around 48. I'm now at 199 and I just keep gaining. I'm training with a personal trainer 2 times a week, I attend team training 2 times a week and I do yoga 2 times a week. Getting super frustrated and depressed. Any insights would be welcome at this point.

Hi everyone, I am Rebecca, Becki to all my friends (and I hope you will be my friend). I have felt like a girl almost all my life. It started when I was just 3 and wore a borrowed dress, panties, knee socks, and maryjanes for a Halloween costume. The was the night I realized why I wasn't really happy. While in that dress, i felt so right. After that day, every time i was over playing with my best friend, Amy, I got to wear on of her cute outfits while we played with her dolls. I even got to have a sleep over with her a few times while growing up. It was so much fun, just the two of us sitting around in our jammies, doing our nails, eating popcorn and discussing thin…

People , I really don't know exactly where to place this , but it really affects us as a nation ! The state of tennessee , once known as the "Volunteer State has somehow allowed the area to be taken hostage by some very mis - guided individuals , mabye Talaban spies . You may ask, uh what is going on here . Simple folks , we have allowed some religious fanatic to be running loose telling the world how he would , "STOMP A MUDHOLE IN THE CHEST of a TRANSGENERED Individual ". The same group of so called leaders has some Demorat operative , YES A "D" wanting to have Sports bras declared Ilegeal in public on women wearing them outside while excercising . he says the bras have…

As some of you may know, I am working on becoming a woman 24X7 Towards that goal, I have worn my fingernails painted with pink nail gloss to work this week. The ladies love the way my nails look, I had several of them stop by today, and say wow, that looks fantastic, great job. They took a poll for the next color I should wear, they want to see my nails in sparkly gold next week. the guys aren't so sure, a few of them just sort of looked at me, like hmmmm. . Hey everyone, just quick question. Awhile back, someone posted a link to a website that described the brain chemistry differences across the spectrum of homosexual males, heterosexual males, transexual males, homosexual females, heterosexual females, and transexual females. I remember the results basically showing that homosexuals were very close in composition to their heterosexual counterpart of their birth gender, and showed that transexuals were very close in brain composition to their opposite gender's heterosexual levels. I began searching for this but gave up because of how active the forums are. The reason I am asking is, a news-based website my friend fre…

I went to the therapist today terrified of what it was going to be like but she put at easy as the session went along. She ask if I had a time line to transition an I told her NO. I told her if I had it my way I would get it all done tomorrow if I could but she said that to fast. My question is what is a good time line to get everything done?

Hi everyone, I am an mtf, 27 years old, who started transitioning about 5 months ago, on hormones for almost 2 months. I wanted to hear a third opinion on an issue that is very pressing to me -- my doubts about what I am doing, namely, the transitioning thing. The point is, it feels right, and I have been dealt a few good cards by nature as to appearance (testosteron seems to have forgotten to affect both my voice and everything below my neck) and I get ma'amed several times a week in boy mode even with (still) short hair. I almost never get sirred. I realize really good passing will probably never be realistic, since my face is not perfect and I think almost no mtf ever …

Has anyone tried waxing their beard area, or is this as stupid an idea as I think it might be? Or both? It sounds painful at any rate... although its still oddly tempting...

Last month was my birthday or rather my rebirth day. Just over a year ago I received SAS in Montreal. While the surgery did not make me whom I am today, it did mark a major milestone in aligning my body, mind and spirit. SAS does not make one better, happier, more content or more together. The same challenges that existed before transition still exist. Maybe not to the same degree, but the need for acceptance, understanding and peace remains in one form or another. Physically my appearance is that of a woman, yet inside my life remains complex, some days are a self-inflicted mixture of small difficulties, and a smaller list of perceived successes as a woman. Diffic…

Hi, I am new to thise site I just found it browsing around for a local support group in my area (none to be found). I guess a little about myself would help. I am 24 years old, i have known that I am really a woman since I was 12 years old but have always been to scared to out myself. Instead i have spent the past 12 years of my life masking it the best I can. Always hanging with the guys got into "extreme sports" etc just to fit in. It has been slowing eating at me for the past 3 years the urge to finally be myself. I feel like i cant keep living the sharaid of being a man anymore. I want to come out to my family and loved ones so bad and start working towards my goal …

to start, I will say that I have been on Estradiol and Spironolactone for two months now. I have a question about one of the hormone glands i think it is. I just recently had a blood panel workup done for my hormone levels and one came back higher then expected, it is the prolactin level for the pituitary hormone. as I am new to all this I was wondering if any one in early stages or whatever stage has experienced this and what it is about it I should be looking our for or aware of? also my breast area last two month (happily) have been like super tender and have already budded out a decent amount for friend to say hey your looking good you have boobies. but a small A at…

Hi,I am Danielle and a 31 year old post ts of 13 years now.It was bad at first and turned good.I felt very uncomfortable as a boy starting at the age of 5.My bilogical parents did not like it when I came when I was 10 years old, rejected and kicked me out.Basically told me I was born this way and to accept it.It hurt very badly to me and luckily there was hope that changed my life in a positive way.I was adopted by a couple,my adoptive parents Denny and Angela that listened to me and still loved me.My adoptive parents knew rejection was not the answer.I was fianlly diagnosed with gender dysphoria after that and began living as a girl after that put on hormone blockers at f…

I have struggled with my identity my whole life. From as long as I can remember I have been friends with more females than males. My inner self is definitely totally female. Played with my sister's barbie's and strawberry shortcake dolls more than my GI Joes. I don't feel myself unless I keep some sort of female piece of clothing on even at work. I work with a ton of homophobic and anti trans people at work most of which are gun toting card carrying memebers of the Republican party and NRA. I have to live a lie around them and my family. I told my Ex who I was and she was supportive for a min or two then betrayed me by outing me to the rest of my family. Now I don't feel …

I have read repeatedly about how transsexuals need to be cautious when using female hormones. Some websites go into great details about possible harmful effects female hormones can have on one's health. I am curious as to whether any of you have had any detrimental side effects, especially serious or potentially serious, using female hormones. Or do you know any other transsexuals who have had such effects on their health? I am taking relatively low dosages of female hormones and spirolactone, but at 57, I occasionally wonder about how many transsexuals experience health problems related to using female hormones. I also am curious if anyone knows, preferably…

I'm almost 19 and I'd like to at some point start this process. I'm terrified of doing it and have been visiting these forums since I was about 15. I used to think that I would just immediately start up on all this when I'm 18 and not go to college or anything, but then I realized that I should probably finish college first and get some more things in order before I start to make any drastic changes. 22 is still really young, right? Anyway, I'm like super hairy and it's driving me crazy. I have hair on my chest and all over. My legs are SO hairy and my arms are pretty hairy too. Facial hair has been coming in more and more over the years and it's driving me nuts. I HAT…

January 20th, 2009. This girl is happy, happy, happy. This past week I received the "FINAL JUDGEMENT OF NAME CHANGE" signed by the judge. Yea, my name is now officially Bobbie Jo per the court, just need to get all of the legal stuff (drivers license, ss card, etc) done. You never realize how many things your name is on until you have to get them all changed. They changed my name in the payroll system at work on Friday, now they are working on changing my email name, etc, etc. Bobbie Jo

First off, let me start off by saying I understand this is a VERY personal question, so I will not be offended if anyone insists on not replying. I guess what I want to know is, how 'realistic' is the vagina after an SRS? Not just appearance, but along the lines of physical sensitivity? Will I have a G-spot? And...*cough* what about female ejaculation? This is incredibly embarassing to ask, I have to admit -.- But I'm very curious, and would like to know if anyone's willing to share something so personal.
