  1. Started by tas198,

I had a lot written out about me a few minutes ago but i was logged off for some reason and lost all of my work, and i am too lazy today (literally i have been sitting around, skimming books, and talking to friends while getting little school work done) to write it again so i am going to keep it short. I am a 23 years old transgender woman. I just gathered up the courage to go through with transitioning to a female, but i have been silently thinking about it since i was like 9 years old perhaps younger. I came across this site looking for resources to figure out what exactly i want to do and how to do it. I like forums because i can talk to people and get feed back which …

  2. Hi all. While I've known I was a trans woman for quite some time and I finally decided I just can't support the role I've been playing my whole life anymore. I know this will be a difficult journey and not just for myself and I pray to not get lost along the way or hurt anyone that's been a part of my life so far. Although the latter is likely. Without giving too much away I'm mid 50's and live in The southern central part of NH. I've been in a committed relationship for almost two decades and hope it withstands the changes that are going to occur but I doubt it. I'm open to meeting people in my area for support, advice or just to talk to. Ri…

I am a 65 year old healthcare worker 3 years into my transition. Still living a double life but getting closer to my goal and excited for my future. Living in Rapid City South Dakota and feeling a little alone. Irrepressibly, Colleen

My fem name is Katherine. I'm 60 and still living as male. I had seen Ms. Hahn in Wilmington, NC for therapy sessions following the Harry Benjamin Standards of Care in the mid 90's. I was told after the sessions that I was ready to move on to living as a woman. I couldn't do it because of my marital commitment. I dearly wish I had. I'm hoping to find a mtf ts around my age that I can relate with. I'm in Fayetteville, NC.

Hi all I am Jenny, 40's closeted transvestite who has been crossdressing since old enough to remember. I don't think I will ever feel confident enough to pass as a woman in public however despite going through several phases of denial and several purges I am trying to accept who I am. The internet has shown me that there are many out there just like myself which is a relief in so many ways. Social stigma dictates that I will likely always be in the closet but great to find a release for my other self on sites like these. Just be yourself and just be happy. Xx.on

  6. Hello. I'm Skyla. I'm new to this. I just realized that I'm not who I am. It took me years to really figure out why I was feeling different and down. When I talked to a friend of mine. He told me be who you really feel. So I told him who I really feel and her name is Skyla Marie Lynn. That is me. I know that it's a long process. But I'm will to take it. There are only a few people that know. But right now all I need is support and friendship. Love Skyla

I see I have never officially introduced me, so here goes. I've been on the site for a while now. And given some insight into me from the blogs I've compiled. I'm a young 35 year old transgender female, who have been on hormones for almost 3 years, but has known that I wasn't who my body thought I should be. I had to wait till I was strong and independent enough from my family to start my transition to whom I've always felt I was. Because my biggest support passed away when I was old enough to start my journey and the overriding factor my mom was the only one to be around. My oldest sister's say wasn't going to help much, so I needed to make my stance in numerous…

Hello everybody, I am an old member on Tgguide but 3 years ago I lost my device & details for accessing tgguide. Now miraculously I have managed to find my username and password via backup files stored in the garage. I have been in transition for over 8-9 years from m to f into cute lady. I have a YouTube channel "Shazy Jeo" as its name goes. However most of my newer videos are non- transgender related. I found out through popularity trans content was not up there with mainstream media topics. But anyone can check the transgender crossdresser related videos from 2012-2016 by scrolling the videos. Still a die hard transitioner into a women in Covid-19 in 202…

Friends, and friends of iPhone. Hi, my name is Billy. I wrote an iPhone app called TranSquat. In a nutshell, it is a gender neutral bathroom finder that locates bathrooms that are gender free relative to your current location. You can search, add and share safe locations. It was written by and for the trans community. It is powered by data from safe2pee. You can help build the app by downloading and adding locations in your own communities. On a personal note, I wanted to write an app for the trans community. It is also my fundraising goal to get 3000 downloads to help finance my surgery with Dr. Charles Garammone. So far, I only have 2956 to go. Every download helps. …

  10. Hi all, just found this site and I am thrilled in reading what I have so far. This is an amazing outlet to get questions answered, get tips, and generally have fun it appears. I hope you will all welcome me, I started dressing as early as 4 years old, I kept it a secret till I was 30, and I came out at 50. I wasted so much of my life hiding and not being me and now I am so happy being out and living every day as my true self. Not saying there aren't situations and days, and dating ugh, such a challenge and guys are so awful sometimes but I hold on to the hope that better days are ahead and there is someone out there for me. Bless you all and thank you for allowing me to p…

  11. I'm currently in Des Moines, Iowa. I am 40 and finally stopped fighting my self over wanting to be female. Told my family and they are supportive which was one of my biggest fears. I'm looking forward to trying life as a female though I still feel nervous and scared about how people will treat me. I've been dressing up in secret since childhood. I feel much more comfortable and at ease as a woman than I do as a male. When I dress up and see the woman in the mirror I feel this is the person I should be. I'm hoping to find friends in the area who can help me become more comfortable being the real me in public and maybe do some shopping.

Hello everyone! I've done other sites before but this is the first one I have posted in that is Transgender specific. I transitioned roughly a year ago and have been living my prefered gender (female) ever since. Without wanting to make unnecesarry excuses I have not gotten out much within the trans community and it is about time that came to an end. So hello I would love to be able to make friends that I can relate to and meet people who have stories similar to mine. I'm looking forward to learning more about other trans people and my own situation in general. People tell me that my story is inspiring and I tend to think the same whenever I see another trans pe…

  18. Hello to anyone and to begin with a little about me I suppose. I am now retired and live in the southern part of the UK and have been around the TG community for decades. I transitioned originally in 1978 but life was a whole different kind of experience back then. So in 1994 I returned to the transition and this time it was successful, the world was a little more accepting. My story is in one book about gender variance, so I am an author, and also an artist and photographer. I also write a lot of poetry and on top of all that, I am also Autistic. I have fought long hard battles with those who have tried to hold us back, some successes and some failures but the bigges…

Greetings TGguide, both new and seasoned members. I used to come out here many years ago, prior to transition, and, after completion in 2009, I had decided to stay out of the proverbial limelight but thought I'd return just to say hey and see how everyone (if still here from the '04 - '08 days) was doing. I may come round every so often to check in but figured now, on the other side of the fence, felt it may be beneficial to many others whom are where I once started to return to listen and share my experiences in hopes to make that process easier and less solitary for those having a rough go at transition. In the interim, I wish everyone a wonderful Summer and I look f…

Lots of really interesting information out there! I am learning lots of new things like some take offense to the labels: tranny, ladyboy and shemale. Being in the online web community, I guess I have gotten numb to them. I always thought they were a badge of honor! lol. Sort of like, I am a huge GEEK and totally proud of it! I'm a 28 year old trans man living in Tennessee. I've just discovered this site and I'm here in hopes of finding more information on the transgender community. I've been male my entire life but, my anatomy disagrees. I've only recently realized that I'm not the only one who's body doesn't match their gender identity and am searching for as much information as I can to help me on my journey. Perhaps I'll even make some friends along the way. I look forward to meeting the members of this site though, I'm a bit on the shy side. Please feel free to strike up a conversation with me. August
