I stopped doing therapy a while ago. I realized it was only keeping me stuck in my problems. So, starting tomorrow, I am going to start doing christian life coaching, Not sure how the life coaching works. But i am hopeful that this will move my life forward. To help me be the man God wants me to be. And give my life direction. I am ready for a change.

As a Transgender person my Gender identity is female, my physical body is male. For me this does not feel like a disorder or illness. It feels like a natural occurrence, part of the spectrum of the human experience that has occurred over millennium. It is said that change is the only constant in the universe, then transition is a universal characteristic that society would do better to embrace than shun. Although I experience Gender discomfort with varying degrees of disphoria sometimes very intense, what makes it so much harder is the ridged gender binary model I have been conditioned to conform too. If I openly defy this model I become vunrable to Hate speech, Ha…

I'm back on track with my trans life after five years of dening who I am. I want to get back on HRT but need to see my doctor about it who said after my heart attack it was not wise to pursue. I was wondering if the use of the off the self estrogen will this low dosage help in anyway till I can see the doctor. Also with normal therapy will this decrease my sex drive to nil.?

I saw a blog post by a 'traditional Roman Catholic man' the other day and it reminded me of just how much work we need to do. He is so full of hatred. I have linked to the original blog post in my blog. If you have any doubts about his intentions read the posts immediately preceding and succeeding the post I link to... https://daniellaargento.wordpress.com/2015/04/15/a-transgender-parable/

Hi All First off, I hope I do not upset anyone with this post. Please note that I recognise the possibility of the content being upsetting to some but at the same time I am trying to better understand some issues that affect our community. I am writing this in a genuine attempt to deepen understanding and 'ventilate' issues we may face. I therefore apologise in advance and hope that you read this in the spirit and tone that it is intended. I am writing an article for Frock magazine (frockmagazine.com) on the connotations of the word 'tranny'. If you do not mind assisting in this survey, could you please reply to this thread by answering the following questions: 1.…

OK, maybe I'm making a mountain out of a molehill. Maybe not. I'm a bit puzzled about something I'd like to do. Will gladly listen to anyone's thoughts on the matter. I'm still thinking of dressing for Halloween, and it's occured to me that my makeup skills are nill. I was thinking of recruiting the woman next door to help me out once or twice to get some practice. I think she would be OK with helping as long as it's for Halloween. What has me concerned is for me dressing for Halloween might be a bit pseudo-sexual. I'd like her help, but because of this last factor I'm afraid I probably should not ask her to help since for me it might be a bit more than dress-up. I know I…

I might have to work in Vegas for two weeks and as a result I'm thinking all sorts of possible things to try. Chances are not much will come of this as my imagination is significantly larger than my courage. Still, I like the idea of doing a transgender makeover for a day or two once work is done. A few factors I need to take into account: 1. Vegas is somewhat familiar territory as I spent most of my teen years there (+20 years ago), 2. have no clue about transgender resources in the area, 3. parents still live there, they're elderly so I know where they won't be running into me, 4. limited budget, 5. interested in meeting other Ts (I'm not into fooling around so I'm …

Hi Everyone, I'm new here. Kinda feeling this out. Uhmmm.... I have been in transition for 9 years, primarily on hormone treatment. Estrogen, Spiro's alone. I am also living with a chronic illness that most would scoff at if I as to share what it is. But other than that, my conundrum is about after this life is over. I was orphan till the age of 10, then adopted by a woman, a teacher and a devout catholic. Since a teeanger, I fought the urges of desiring another male. Though before my adoption, at 3yrs old I was molested by a cousin on my mother side of the family. Till I was in my 20's and in college. I was bullied in my earlier years of high school, and made gay friends…

So, I've been thinking about posting this sort of thing on a TG forum for a while, but never really could come up with the full explanation of my life until tonight, so here it is. Sorry it's so long, and if you read it, thanks. The earliest memories of my childhood, I was a boy. I never thought I was a girl, I never had any illusion of not being a boy. I was a boy, plain and simple. There was no social pressure on me to behave like a boy, to play with boy toys, I just did. I loved riding my bike (was off of training wheels by 3), running around in the woods, playing army men, playing with Jurassic Park toys and having the dinosaurs eat the people, that kind of stuff…

Dear Friends, Have learned a painful lesson today. The administrator of a gender conference introduced me to a couple who would be going my way on the way to a gender conference. Our communication was by text and e-mail only. Thought we had agreed to go on a Wednesday when they insisted that we had agreed on a Tuesday. This is the lesson I learned: MAKE NO ARRANGEMENTS BY TEXT OR E-MAIL! Insist on VOICE COMMUNICATION ONLY! If they refuse, don't do business with them! Luckily, I have a friend who had established VOICE COMMUNICATION with me who I am sharing a room with, and my experience with her is totally different! She has graciously agreed to go HUN…

I've had several meetings over the past couple of months with a man who is providing me with some professional services. Before our first meeting I told him via email that I am a transgender woman. If that made him uncomfortable then that was fine and in which case I asked that he refer me to another colleague. We talked about it on the phone: he's a fundamental Christian and although he has a lot of experience with gay colleagues and customers he'd never encountered a trans person. If I was game to help educate him he was very interested in learning. Since then we've met a couple of times including yesterday. In the course of our conversation I mentioned that I'm sc…

Ok , A trend I have Expierianced and also Noticed , is the use of many substances that truelly hold NO safety , or tranquillity within their use . Drugs , Alcohol , Narcotics , even Herbal remedies , Hold an appeal and a draw to those who suffer any form of Gender Variance , even For those who simply believe that the answers lie within the use of such things . I can attest to the use and abuse of Alcohol , in an attempt to Hide the True Feelings and Nature of Who it was that was trapped within this Body , I suffered Major Alcoholism for 8 years I woke up grabbing the bottle and went to bed placing it beside my Bed at night . Until I relized " I am drowndin…

Just posting from my own experience. In becoming myself, i used to get so offended if someone i thought cared about me, would use wrong pronouns. I believe if someone in my life is not intentionally doing these things, then i need to not be offended. In talking to my Mom yesterday, my Mom, in referrring to me, said 'she'. And then, immediatley corrected herself. And she was so afraid that i would take offense. I told her, I know you are trying. No offense taken. I believe acceptance has to be a two way street. Yes, we demand acceptance from others. And, we need to accept the fact that even when they do...they might mess up once in a while.

Josh A. Goodman, 07/13/2012, 11:54 pm "A more common problem is simply not representing transgender data or issues under the umbrella of LGBT. News articles discuss LGBT bullying or LGBT suicide while citing data that only include LGB individuals, obscuring the fact that rates of assault and suicide are higher for transgender youth, and especially trans youth of color. Same-sex marriage is touted as an LGBT issue, despite the fact that many transgender individuals are heterosexual. Many commentators called the repeal of "don't ask, don't tell" a major milestone for LGBT equality, but transgender individuals are still barred from serving openly in the U.S. military." -Go…

I didn't want to just intrude on Stella' post guilt of breaking up family so I just posted a new one. I heard that one of my neices encountered my ex the other day and that she was trying to find out things without actually asking her any direct questions. My niece knew what she was doing and just told her that if she had something to ask to ask.Apparently she's still hung up 3 years later. She asked my niece how my folks could support me in what I'm doing. My niece told her that we were a loving family, which really made me feel good. I told my mom she's probably upset because she lost her meal ticket. She was pretty lazy about doing anything. And as I told my mom awhil…

November and December are traditionally active months for me. While there are activities to attend, it also a time of reflection. This year is different because of the changes that have happened to me personally. I will be marching in the Veterans Day parade on November 11th. It will be my third time doing so. It's important that transgender veterans are honored and remembered for their service. This year the group may have a float. November 20th will be the Transgender Day of Remembrance. I make it a point to attend because it's important that we encourage and support one another. I am considering speaking at the event. I mentioned months earlier that I have transi…

Years ago I was in Spain and went into a bar called the Daunte, All the 'ladies' in there were wearing neck scars like back in the 60's. I found out later it was to hide the Adams Apple. My question is what is involved in removing the Adams Apple? BTW there is more to the story, but I'll not bore ya with it here (chuckles) SaltyRob

Some of you who have seen my posts know that I had decided against having children, for a variety of reasons. Well, I've had a change of heart. I've learned that it is possible for a single person of either gender to adopt a child of either gender in this country (since I present as male and know I want a girl, this is really good news), and I've grown a little in the last few years, so I think I could be up to the task someday. So I'm researching it now, and I hope to adopt a toddler girl (even married couples have trouble getting healthy babies, so I'm sure I have a better chance of being Miss America than of getting a healthy baby), maybe when I'm in my 30s (I'm 2…

I've recently discovered adult ADHD or rather the correct name ADD attention deficit disorder. IS THERE A CONNECTION BETWEEN ADD AND CROSSDRESSING? ADD explains in one sweep what I have been trying to answer all my adult life... Why can't I focus on anything, why I procrastinate , why I can't achieve the things I'm passionate about. I've heard there is a connection, so I'm curious to know... How many of us girls have ADD or symptoms (poor long term focus - distractability - zoning out of conversations - chronic "laziness") AND if you do, do you see any connection with crossdressing or even transgender ism?
