Just talked to my Mom today. In talking with her, i told her that she is always invited to come down. Told her it's been many years since she has seen me, so I have changed alot on the outside...and before i could complete my sentence...my Mom said, "but you are still the same on the inside." Nice!! I haven't had a chance to be on here for awhile, but wanted to share this great little story. One of the guys I play sports with is infamous for being overly aggressive, loud, crude, argumentative, and generally overly macho. All this past week, though, he was excited about playing dress up, wearing a dress and doing everything possible to look female. He sent everyone photos and loved the attention. His whole persona also changed and, though still a male, he started to fancy himself a female. Everyone totally accepted. it. Well, actually nobody really cared that much, except me.

Jessica and I have corresponded here now for some time . She had taken one of our members here by the hand and gave her a NEEDED trip to the keystone transgender conference and i am sooo glad she did . Seems Monica's life improved a lot as a result . Last year, I was considering the possibility that I may be a transgenderist. I would define me as somewhere between a crossdresser and transsexual. I don't want to transition or take hormones. Actually it came to me in my sleep, probably because before I went to sleep, I had been researching way to finance my surgeries. Anyway, heres my idea. I don't know if this is a big problem for other trans people, but at work, whyrrr I'm out, People In the back room crew where I work are constantly poking at my feminine tendencies. I was in a great mood today until they decided to say that because I really liked this greeting card we processed because it had googly eyes.... They also poked fun at yjr fact that I really liked a photo album that said be yourself. I kind of flipped on them today because of it and I said "if someone who was born biologically male did any of this you wouldn't question them but you have to belittle me at every turn."

My wife reminds me every day of how she can't live up to the supposedly perfect models on Television and in the magazines. Well there is a subreddit called transpassing and folks post pics of themselves asking whether or not they are 'passable', and asking for honest opinions and tips. Hi everyone my girl name is Amy and I'm 19, from Northern Ireland (or Ireland to people outside the UK) I used to crossdress a long time ago, might have been when I was 14 or something! My therapist expressed the thought, when we were discussing Diane Kearny's "visit" to this forum a while back, that maybe part of the reason why MtFs seem to have such trouble with "the ladder" is that it's a holdover from their male socialization, that feeling of competitiveness and having to have "one up" on the next person. (Not that women never do this, but it seems much more common and overt with men.)
