Are you able to spot closet TGs? I am, at least MTFs. There's a professor at my school whom I suspect of being a woman in a man's body; I couldn't describe what gives "him" away, but I suspect it's like "gaydar." (I'd never say anything to "him" about it, though; some things you just don't talk about.)

Ok, so I am writing this here because I do not know where I was suppose to put this so yeah, going to have this post here. I am in a situation that well I am not sure on and yet I am severely unhappy with things in my life. Here is the list of them 1)I am in the low income bracket, meaning I am on SSI and can't afford to transition to female Like I truly want to. 2) I hate the town and state where I live and want to move me and my dad to where I can have friends in the trans community that will be supportive and help me with trying to transition as I am so scared I will screw it up. 3) I been getting depressed more then normal because I am lonely and don't hav…

  3. "Because the word is predominantly aimed at trans women, with us as the joke, it is only trans women who can “reclaim” it if we so choose. While I’m certain some trans men have had the word thrown at them, it’s not theirs to reclaim. While I’m sure drag queens have had the word thrown at them, they have the benefit of being able to wash off their makeup, take off their dress, and fade back into their male lives. I don’t have that luxury. This is my life. This is my identity, not an activity, and not a hobby. This is who I am, forever trans, forever vulnerable to the damage this word can cause." -Parker Marie Malloy, It's Time to Stop With The T Word, advocate.com I'm …

As much as I am not a topic starter (in fact I find it very difficult to create topics of discussion), I've stumbled upon the term postgender a great number of times in the past few years. The most accessible definition (but not the only one) - courtesy of wikipedia: I have known a few people who know of the subject, yet I am finding more and more people who likely know little of the matter directly but make statements about how gender is or should be irrelevant when it comes to how one lives their life. This is very intriguing to me, and as such I am wondering if anyone here has ever had any involvement or experiences with the postgender movement, or what the…

After much thought and discussion with my wife we have decided I am going to take the next step . It is our goal that by years end I will legally change my name but with a minor concession to protect my job,I know that sounds silly but I cannot afford to risk my livelyhood. This means I will retain my first name with Victoria Anne as my middle but I will get an ID card ommitting my first name. For now this an excepptable compromise but none the less it is a step forward and I feel good about it.

  7. Darren Wee | 07 July 2015 "‘So, in the Bible, when a man sleeps with another man like with a woman, it’s an abomination. See, the emphasis is on a man betraying his status: He has feminized himself. So it’s a gender violation as opposed to a sexual violation.’" -- gaystarnews.com Jesus was gay or "at the very least' queer, says theologian ______________________________________ So, what's this guy's angle? Some of you may have already seen this video - I saw it for the first time this past weekend. My brother is the one who told me about it. We've all heard of stories of people being misgendered. Sometimes it's an innocent mistake. Sometimes it's arrogant refusal to accept a person's gender identity. Then there are the cases, usually officials of some sort, who insist they must refer to a person based on legal ID or other documentation. The woman in this vid literally came unhinged. It's unclear if the misgendering was intentional. Question is, does her behavior hurt the trans community? Does it do trans woman any good for someone like the woman in the vid to l…

My friend sent this to me: The effeminate sheep & other problems with Darwinian sexual selection. I thought the idea was pretty interesting. It really is striking how much standard theories of gender and sexuality try to toss out the "bad samples"...

Hi I am new here and I am from the New England area. I have felt like I was born in the wrong sex since I was 7. I have tried to surpress it and have been doing a pretty good job at that for 11 years until now. I cannot control it anymore, it controls my life. after 19 years in the Military I gave up my Pension at a faily young age. I am so disgused with my male body and because of the cost of SRS I cant afford it and I feel like I cant do HRT because I would have to give up my present job and fear I would have a rought time finding another. I dont have any friends because I pushed them away because I wasnt into doing what they wanted to do and because of the fear if the…

OK, anyone following me on "Faceless Book has seen my struggles in changing my records well past the Easily obtained Court recorded name change I received in September from Chesterfield County Virginia . The FUN began when it was time to get my driver's license changed . I swear , Virginia operates under two sets of laws . They have one of course who recognize relatives of elected or past elected officials . Then they have the "OTHER SET " . Yeah this one is for people like myself who are KNOWN Rabble rousers and Hippies . This is where I come in . It's a KNOWN Fact I was a protester during the Viet Nam era in Washington DC and yes , I knew , not that I was friends , but…

  14. Thought this would be a neat thread, that could be potentially informative. I want you girls and guys to post stuff concerning potential scams or misinformation that appears as if it’s supposed to help us but in reality is a sham. I can think one such example are people on YouTube posting endless “this hypnosis will make you transition through subliminal blah blah blah” videos, often adding in their descriptions “subscribe to activate the magic” lol. But in all seriousness these things are kind of scummy as I think their reasoning is to make many very desperate trans people hope for some truth in these videos and give them ad revenue. I could give a beni…

We all know what he did to us the last time he seized power. He took away our humanity by making us an “unperson”, amongst many other atrocities. Which the Biden administration didn’t do a 🤬thing about I might add. Now he has promised to go after all of his enemies, which obviously includes every last one of us. In WW2, Adolf Hitler had his Gestapo. Adolf 2.0 as I call him has no incentive to not create his own Gestapo, and make us public enemy number one. I’m literally terrified for my life. And even more terrified of what could happen to Adrianne if we’re caught together. Asylum is a lost cause. So we’re stuck in this 🤬 country. All that said, I’m thinking of going…

My sister sent me in relation to our family life, but it seems oddly apropos on many levels for people dealing with trans issues too. I'm sure it was unintentional, but I sorta like the symbolism of the band's singer (a guy) appearing alternately in the room with the girl who decides to make a run for it.. :)

:) I am finally free to feel these special feelings I have had all my life. All my life I have had I guess one could say a very different set of emotions a man usually has. I'm not gay. I believe the kinda of attraction I have emotionally, psychologically, and physically is to the kind of love I think only a TS woman can give. Along time ago I saw a movie about a young soldier whom walked into this restaurant, and the kind of attraction that occurred between him and the TS girl was like love at first sight; It had all the special chemistry one would hope for in a first meeting. Anyway , they fell in love , and even after he found out she was not a quote " woman " physiol…

His cruel and hateful policies are going to put me back on the street, and Adrianne back with her parents. We won't be able to survive when he cuts out foodstamps and social security. If it wasn't for foodstamps, we wouldn't be able to eat. I couldn't drive my car anymore, because gas will be too damn expensive. Pardon my language. But we're not just leaving the country, we may be leaving the entire continent. We're thinking about Europe. I'm hoping for Scotland. If that's not possible, then I'm thinking Germany. Scot is the vast majority of my heritage, and German makes up the rest. So that's the reason for them being my preferred choices. Yeah like all white Americans, …

I was going to save this for therapy Friday but I figure what the heck.. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. I like to sift through my brain one grain of sand at a time (that's what it's made of mostly, I think ) and try to tease out tangled messes of emotions, find causes of problems to confront them, and so on. Well, I found a really interesting (and kind of embarrassing, shameful) thing about myself that explains a whole lot: I have a prejudice against trans people. Which means I have a prejudice against myself...! This can't be good. Maybe this merits some extra explanation too, before anyone thinks I dislike them or something. Basically I understand…

I've got access to some very cheap clothes here, namely the Goodwill outlet store. $1 for a heavy piece is really not too bad, as a stress/anxiety reliever (it's sort of like the lottery -- fun to dig through the bins and grab stuff that might work out, imagine it one day working out...). I was buying some new socks and undies today (NOT at Goodwill ) and realized.. wow. I've got a lot of 'girl stuff' now. I wondered if I was anywhere near the quantity of old 'guy stuff'. I figured I must be getting close. So I started a tally. Let's just say the results surprised me a little. I left out specialized stuff like swim trunks and bike/hike clothes, and didn't include thin…
