Been thinking about this a lot recently, and I think I need some pointers in the right direction, or maybe a kick up the bum... How does someone act female / feminine I was just wanting everyone's take on this, and then me and other people that are considering transition will have a guide on how to act. I maybe looking to far in to this (which I normally do), but if there is anyone out there that has gone through transition and now act's differently, or if you haven't gone through transition but have some thing to say on the subject, please put it down on this thread Thanks Lee

Seems over the past year I've noticed Teenagers to early twenties are exploring, looking for crossdressers and trans to experiment with.Teenagers who say are cisgender male, post pictures saying this is me. A good deal of the time they have hips which no male could had been born with. They are attracting many followers. I truly have to wonder about them, trendy or looking for attention because they can't get attention otherwise.I have joined and left several Facebook private groups and notice the predominant topic is to have uninhibited sex. Many times asking for things I'm sure they would be sorry for if they actually get it.Many younger transgender get fricken upset of…

in a thread begun by one of the ladies, "How important to you is being passable..." one of them commented about the rationality of transitioning or not based on whether one is passable or not, "...none of this is rational for me... it's an emotional, soulful thing, existing *beneath* and behind my rational thoughts." to that, chris42 replied, "I never chose to dress as female. I always chose male because something inside me made me do it. I just could not put on female clothes once I had a choice." god, do i know that feeling! i never liked the frilly stuff my mum put me in. later, i tried to dress accordingly when i thought it was necessary, but it always felt wro…

Happy Halloween and Samhain! We pretty much sat at home and handed out candy and watched Survivor.. I know, boo. I realized though that I can't do "en femme" for Halloween. It's sort of self-insulting and sending the wrong message to myself. If anything I've had my costume today by not doing anything special. I felt kinda cruddy about it as the day went on though, seeing a bunch of people dressed up as various things today, because now I wished I'd taken the opportunity to do some sort of female Halloween costume. Oh well, maybe next year. My wife wanted to be Eowyn, so maybe we'll get swords, armor, and Nordic dresses, and do dual Eowyns Anyone actually do anythin…

because we had gotten way off the topic of Dee's original thread - GENDER IDENTITY TESTS - i've taken it upon myself to bring the discussion to a new thread. our apologies, Dee. Insertnamehere (in reply to post #37, Gen TS Topics, GENDER IDENTITY TESTS) your thoughts on transsexuality and it's causes are unique at best. but i think your beliefs are born of your equally unique stand on gender. your posts up until recently made me believe you were MTF. then i got the impression you were GG. come to find out you are not GG, and really don't consider yourself MTF, yet you desire a procedure that many MTFs want - an orchiectomy. you said in post #37 "You should …

I thought I'd post this as a companion topic to the TG Movies thread. Does anybody have any links to online TG comix or graphic novels they'd like to share? I have been a longtime reader of Venus Envy, and always enjoyed it immensely, although, sadly, the updates have been far-and-few-between lately. This morning while link-surfing I was fortunate enough to come across the Jack Pallett Refridgeration online comic book. The genre is gutterpunk--and definitely much grittier than VE, but I find the artwork and storyline to be some of the most compelling and engrossing work of its kind I've ever seen. At any rate, I just thought I'd post these for those who might…

Hi all, here I am with another query. Reading many posts concerning tg people getting the hormone therapy that they desired, I read many times about the joy and peace felt after the hormones are taken. That the hormones in their blood made them feel whole again. Even a few ladies saying that it was euphoric. I am wondering if this is true for both mtf and ftm, and could it be that a non tg person would also feel something similar if they were introduced to estrogen or testosterone and were the opposite sex. If I took testosterone, for instance, might I feel energized, or powerful? And if a gm takes estrogen, would it make him mellow? Peaceful? Interesting to me. …

Ellsworth Rundlett III, Posted: 12/20/2012 1:01 am Eight years ago, my daughter Nicole introduced a new twist to our motley tribe. She was Nick at the time, the best son a man could ask for, but -- unbeknownst to the rest of the family -- she had always identified as a woman. When Nicole decided to become her authentic self, I was startled and unsure -- but time, education and counseling have made our parent/child relationship stronger than ever. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for our extended family. --huffingtonpost.com The Cold Shoulder at Christmas: Family Holidays With a Transgender Daughter

I think this is one of the toughest things for me at this point. I wish I knew of a local transgender friendly cosmetics person who could come and do my colors. I have gone into Target to see if I could get some makeup, but there is so much selection. Need concealer, foundation, powder, blush, eye shadow, eyelash lengthener, (Blanking out one what you call it), lipstick and such. I have a number of different nail polishes, but rarely put them on as I might have to take them off quickly. Mostly sticking to clear for right now. I have had the wife come home unexpectedly and we are not at that point where she has seen Emma. She only knows about me. I just feel I want to get …

The Courage of Being Transgender in PublicI have long thought that transgender people living honestly as themselves are very courageous. Mirriam-Webster.com defines courage as "mental or moral strength to venture, persevere and withstand danger, fear or difficulty." I believe that the willingness to be oneself, one's true self, openly in public is a scary thing for anyone. Honesty in the face of adversity is a form of moral strength. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/victoria-kolakowski/the-courage-of-being-tran_b_7943418.html?ir=Gay Voices&ncid=newsltushpmg00000003 Note: Mods to please move this article as you deem appropriate.

I have been researching foods to help enhance breast tissue, and some say it helps, others , not so much.. I already have a significant mass there from weightlifting when young, and at 54 years young now.. I am not very interested in hormones, but believe strongly in.. "we are what we eat"... I have been incorporating some of these items listed on this website I included below, and I think I have seen a little bit of development. Maybe it is just wishful thinking, I don't know. I just wanted to get feedback from others here. What they have done, what the results were, and what works the best. Thanks. http://malebreastenlargement101.com/male-breast-enlargement-herbs/

Misgendering happens, whether you’re a trans man, trans woman, non-binary... especially if you’re not cis. What to do? I’ve talked about this several times over the months I’ve been seeing Sandy Hirsch, my voice therapist and coach. As a cis woman who’s very supportive and experienced with many transgender clients, she’s an excellent resource to discuss issues like these. Early on - when I was still pretty on edge - I told her that I’d be a little righteously indignant to someone who misgendered me. Like “Do I look like a man to you?” She worried that this would trigger defensiveness and perhaps anger or worse. So I just let being misgendered go. Better to be safe than so…

It strikes me that if you added up all of the "Non Normal" people in the world - EI- Us, Gay's, Non mainstream religions, people under 4.5 feet and over 7 feet, hippie types, rockers, and on and on, and lumped us all toghther under one umbrella then that would most likely put the "Normal" people in the minority, would it not?

I don't know if I had posted this topic before on this message board, perhaps it was on another forum? Anyway, the topic is about having my biological name changed to my female transitioning name legally. In the meantime, I had nicely asked my close friends who are aware of my transitioning, to call me by my female name. Recently, my friend and I were eating out at a public place. I was dressed up in women clothing, and Hellene had asked me to flag down the waiter to come over to our table, and then she told him.. "oh he want this, and can you bring him that" meaning me. Hellene said this loud enough, that is caused attention in the restaurant for other ladies to stair …

Is it just me or is 90% of the chatroom on this website full of fakes? Last week I decided to log onto the chat site and see if i can expand the number of friends I have. I currently belong to another site and we hang out in real life and just have a good time. So I figured it would be kinda the same here. WOW was I WRONG. I developed a really refine sense of trandar since coming out. I know this sounds shallow but I can spot a fake when someone is chatting with me in no time. It's the way they handle themselves in chat and the things they say that keeps me guarded. Then they will PM me. I dont mind PMs but the fake ones always talk about how their "sexy cloth…

Hi all. As most of you know, I have been working in trying to get the DMV in my state to change policy for changing ones gender marker on a drivers license. In the past couple months, I worked with a State Rep to try to get the DMV to offer an exemption for people that might have a financial hardship or a medical one in meeting the 'complete surgery ' requirement, and, again, that fell on deaf ears. I even presented the case of how having a non-matching gender marker makes it impossible for one to find employment....but, no one cares. So, I guess it's time for me to stop my fight. To be thankful for what I do have, and let go of my dreams. You see, I had the dream t…

Did get good news today at the hair salon I go to,been a customer there since I was 17 years old.The owner I have known for a long time is retiring next month and met the new owner today taking over whom bought her out.It is going to be the same transgender friendly and learned about me well being bigender living and dress as female.I had an appointment anyway and she was ready for me asking the right questions. The new owner and I will get along and listened to me.Always wanted to try something new for a change and said thought about a medium length cut, said it was a good idea and went to work on what I wanted.I love my new look and told her thank you.Did listen to me on …
