I've shaved my thigh area a few times. I usually get ingrown hairs and stuff like that. I recently saw that I have this large mosquito bite like lump in my inner thigh. It's all swollen and red. Today I squeezed it to see what would happen and blood kept coming out of it. I'm really confused as to what it could be. It must be from the shaving.

So basically, my friend (pre-everything) got outed as wanting to be a girl, but she still has 1¾ years of highschool left. She says the counselors are supportive, but the teachers let the kids bully and harass her to no end. She also says that her family is not likely to be supportive and they regard her siituation as "just a phase." Now, the problem here is I wanna help but I don't know how since I live in Georgia and she lives in Wisconsin. All I can really do is talk to her and try to comfort her over the internet... >_> Any ideas?

Readers - i moved the post below, made by shannon (and replies with it) to afford the topic it's own space. quite often readers have questions or concerns about how to go about getting the gender and/or name changed on their BCs, or whether their state will even allow it. in the thread it originally came from, "I Have the Feeling that I Lie" by Jesse K, questions cropped up about which box to check for gender on forms. this eventually led to discussion about correcting/changing birth certificates -michael -------------------------- "I have never had anyone say anything about it outright, but I have on occasion encountered some of these documents again, af…

I just wanted to share some info that my endocrinologist recently gave me. There are numerous articles on HRT reversible and irreversible effects, once HRT is stopped. Most of them state that these reversible effects will occur after 6 to 8 months (depending on the article). I was on HRT for 4 months, ending on June 30, 2006. I stopped because of certain health reasons, under the advice of my doctor. Everything is okay now, so, under the monitoring with my endocrinologist, I will commence HRT again within 2 weeks. Anyway, after only 4 months, I developed breasts approaching an A cup. I still have this size today, and have lost nothing after stopping HR…

People here are always saying how badly transsexuals are portrayed on TV, but I don't think that's true at all...Last night I watched an episode of "The Jeffersons" where George meets up with his old navy buddy Eddie...only Eddie turned into Edie and became a woman...They got a really gorgeous, really feminine woman to play Edie and transsexualism was portrayed in a really nice way. Also, there's an episode of Just Shoot Me with a similar plot, where Finch meets up with his old guy friend who had a sex change played by Jenny McCarthey. And then he has sex with her in the end I think. And on Veronica Mars there was an episode where she helps a boy discover that his f…

I've been wondering this for a while but what's your opinion tranny chasers. I know a lot of people don't like them, but personally I don't really see anything wrong with them as long as they are secure about their attraction. I wouldn't want them to be ashamed of being with me. I mean to me it's a sexual preference just like being gay, bi or straight.

What level of stealth do you prefer? Do you wish that everyone thinks you were born as GG (for M2Fs)? Or do you not mind if your close friends know? Or maybe you like to broadcast to the world that you are TG? For me, my close friends started out thinking I was a normal male except for being an online crossdresser, so they already know, and the fact that they know doesn't bother me since they are very supportive. Many people aren't that open-minded, though. Many of them can be made open-minded by talking to them, although if they just think I'm GG and don't know any better, that's easier.

I saw a topic named this and wanted to respond, but then realized it was in the F2M forum. So I decided to make an analogous topic for M2Fs: How far do you plan to transition ultimately? For me, I've already had a bilateral orchiectomy and started HRT. However, I haven't been presenting as female in real life yet. I'm just taking things one step at a time. Going all the way with FFS and SRS would be a possibility for me, although first I have to figure out what my ultimate goals are. I like to be female in social situations, but I think being a male in professional situations is an advantage.

I was just sitting at work (in 'boy' mode) thinking about all of the little things that bug me about it, and it occurred to me that it might be fun to turn my petty aggravations into a 'top 10 - what I hate most about not being full time' list. Please feel free to add your own issues to the list (or old issues if you are now full-time). =) I'll start with mine: THE TOP 10 THINGS I HATE(D) ABOUT NOT BEING FULL TIME ======================================== 10. Driving to work, only to find that I still have finger nail polish on, and having to stop at the drug store to remove it before showing up. 9. I have been reading and not posting very much and the impression I have gotten is that a lot of you feel like you are in your own hell because you can't be open and out about what you do. What I want to know is have any of you REALLY taken the time to stop and think about not only the hell you are in but, if you are in a relationship, the hell your partner might be going through. My own real life experience says NO! My partner thinks only of personal needs, not mine, not our daughter's, only of self. I realize there have been the years of hiding this side, the side that NEEDS to dress, but that softer side has always been there. I have said the clothes don't change…

I'm currently in the process of getting my name changed. I was wondering if changing my last name as well would be a good idea too. The reason I'm wondering about it is because I'm considering the opinion of going stealth and naturally I don't want people finding out information about my male pass that could be damaging to me. I just wondering what would be recommended to do in a case like this.

Where do I begin... Until about a month ago I didn't even know what a transexual was. I grew up thinking I was crazy, everyone told me I was stupid for even suggesting that I was born the wrong gender and kept trying to "talk me out of it". But deep down I knew they were wrong. My whole life I knew I was different, and I knew exactly why. A female born with a mans body. I thought I was either unique or crazy. Boy was I off. I've been perpetually depressed my whole life. Constantly seeking a way out of existance. I can't kill myself because of that innate fear of the afterlife. I don't want to live like this, but I don't want to live forever like this either, heaven or …

I don't know if this is the right place for this. If not I appologize. First of all hey I'm Jesse K. I am on the explore about the question what am I. I think I know it now but for some reasons I'm shy to admit even at this board what I am. (Though this is probably the last place where I have to be shy) Maybe it is because I figured it out today what I am. It is not really hard to take for me. To the contrary I'm happy that this question which bothered me my whole life finally got an answer. It is though uhh yeah strange because I am obviously homosexuall (if it becomes to my inside gender, to my body gender I am hetero). Yes this is confusing but I though …

ohhhhhhhh-kay... many of you are familiar with the post i began in sept 2005 "THEORY: Why So Many MTFs Prefer Women." it quickly became a hot topic and generated some lively debate. so...i'm off on a new quest for info and understanding -- since i began hanging out in TG/TS chatrooms and forums, it seems to me to be, that: most of the women, the MTF individuals, strive to be all that is feminine and womanly. most seem to work untiringly toward achieving a feminine shape and look, perfecting feminine mannerisms, and eliminating as much as possible...anything that would ID them physically as having been born male-bodied. on the other hand.... lately, …

Something keeps going thru my head, its what Annie said: "Sex is between your legs, Gender is between your ears" And I figured out something...MtF TGs are Male in Sex, but Female in Gender, so since I would gladly date an MtF as much as I'd date a bio-female, that makes me bisexual, but since I'm going on the gender, being female, I am straight, or heterogender? (If that is a word). Summed up, I'm Bisexual, yet Heterogender? What are your thoughts on it Ladies, and Gentlemen?

Just a discussion on the "inheritability" of the transgender condition. I'm kind of interested because I have an aunt that is a lesbian, and I'm guessing that there could be genetic traits that can be inherited which would allow for someones child to be born G. L. B. or T. Discuss?

I have always dreamed of having breasts, not Pam Anderson types, but a simple little b cup on a 32".More than enough for me,to complete my femme image.I have even looked at the girls on "sites" that featured small breasted women, and felt a certain amount of envy.I looked into the possibilities of aquiring these precious assets, and discovered that by taking a combination of hormone drugs,I could achieve my goal.Bonus!.....my hips would expand as I would transfer fat from my belly to them.I could achieve a girly figure(at last!)...and ...have breasts! Upon further investigation,I found that these effects are irrevesible..that didn't bother me a bit...that's what I wanted....…

I been thinkin about this for a long time. Whether I should put it up there and get advice or not. Being that i'm not very trusting to really open up to people, I had to think hard. I decided to give it a try. You see. okay, lets start of with how much I do love my parents, grandparents, and so on. Anyway, I found out at an early age that they're not too good with change. Then when I realized I was transgendered, I debaited on telling anyone of them. Later I casually went to my mom and told her that I needed to see a therapist. When she asked why, I told her because I have issues I nee to sort out and deal with. She said you tryin to tell me you like women? I said …

I'm 20, and for those of us who are transitioning early we know that we most likely won't ever have biological children. That's the only thing that bothers me, and yet I can't live the way I am, not without a lot of pain and a lot of suffering. And I'm betting that it's like this for most of us who transition before having kids. I've never had a problem with adopting kids, I've thought a lot about it but it's really not the same to adopt. But having biological children is very important to me, and it's so hard to let it go. But as you can understand, adopting isn't the issue at hand here. Luckily for me I'm a very positive person. I don't have to question my transsexua…

I've been thinking of taking up weight training or getting some type of exercise machine to help me tone up and lose some weight. My only fear is that I don't want to start looking like a bodybuilder or something. I remember reading that HRT assists Female to Male transgender people in getting the male physique that they want. So well logically I was thinking that HRT would help me get the female physique that I want. Does anybody know if this is true or not? T_T

At this point this point I've been on HRT for like a little more then 2 months and right now the only member of my family that knows I'm transgendered is my mom. It took her a while to get over the initial shock and everything. But she's dealing with it quite well, she doesn't like it but she doesn't try to get in my way or anything. I'm just worried about telling my other family members about me transitioning. My family is a bit on the religious conversative side I don't think the rest of them will take it that well though. :(
