I was randomly browsing around hotornot.com and I saw this picture: http://www.hotornot.com/r/?eid=GSHZBSA&amp...=MCM&sid=EM Is that an Adam's apple I see?! I didn't know GGs (I'm assuming she's GG, I could be wrong) could have such prominent adams apples. Her picture was rated 9.7 though.

I first came out to my parents as being Female when I was about 15, and what I expected to happen, happened. They told me that I was deceived by 'Satan' and should ask God for forgiveness of my sin. The fact that I cried for about an hour and a half didn't phase them at all. I've talked to them since then about it and they still refuse to accept me for I am. Quite recently I wanted to make myself a little happier, so I went out and purchased a whole bunch a girl clothes and other things. I made sure not to get anything over-feminine, like skirts or dresses. I just stuck with buying jeans and shirts so my parents wouldn't freak out on me. So, I got the clothes and summ…

http://www.wa-doma.org/ I kind of wish this would pass. It would be the kind of law that would cause DOMA to be struck down at the national level. For those who don't know what DOMA (the so-called Defense of Marriage Act) says, basically any state can ignore the marriage laws in other states and make it's own rules about who is married and who isn't. So theoretically, a hetersexual couple married in state A could have their marriage declared invalid in state B. Washington Initiative 957 would do just that. Because of a court case that struck down gay marriage for the reason that gay people can't procreate, I-957 makes the ability to procreate a determination o…

I run an online business in my female name. However, my legal name is still my male name (I'm undecided about changing it at this time). I'm about to hire someone who will work for me over the internet; I may never meet him in person. But my legal name will need to be on the contract he signs (I am a sole proprietor, not incorporated at this time). So, I will be presenting him with a contract that has my male name on it. Any suggestions on what to do about this? Should I just be honest but nonchalant about it, like "Here's the contract, please sign it, btw <malename> is my legal name" or what?

This is something I have been obsessing over for a while now. For as long as I can remember I have wished that I was female so it does seem to make sense that I am transgendered and I have reached a point at which I like being the way I am, however while I am very feminine in most ways I'm also not so feminine in some ways to give a few examples I love violent video games and martial arts movies in both cases I especially love when its a women kicking every ones asses but I don't have any real problem with watching or playing as a male. Another example is how young males seem to like carrying really bad ass looking pocket knives. I often think that this is a crude and unr…

Well, as of Friday, Dec. 8 I went to the court house and applied for my name change. The name change paper did NOT have anything on it about gender change, so I had to piggy back it on there. Where it says, "what is the reason for the name change" I put: Common Useage/life changes. I put life changes due to my transition. It sounds better to put that than to put "transitioning, FTM" or "SRS surgery". The lady at the court house said that was perfect. On the line below that I put "Request for gender change" The lady told me that next week I will receive a paper in the mail and I am to take that to the local newspaper and tell them to put the ad in the paper fo…

I'm making this topic again -- I had it a few months ago, so I'm posting an update. Basically, I was asking about how long it should take to pass as I'd been on hormones for a year and I was still getting sir'd. My situation has not changed. I know I need FFS and whatnot, but since that's temporarily out of reach I'm asking for general advice on my every-day appearance. Here're some fairly recent pics: Yay for Halloween!! So, yeah... Any advice is appreciated, but if all you're gonna say is that my hair needs to grow, please come up with something else. Everyone tells me that but my hair grows really slowly... I can't help that. Iunno. …

I recently read an article saying soy can indeed produce higher levels of estrogen within men leading to a more curvy body and thinner muscular build when conformed to a heavily soy-dependent diet. Upon further review, I read that OTHER scientists say no, soy has no effect on men estrogen wise in any way noticeable. I was wondering if anyone had any info on this? Id love to find out as Ive only had a few soy products like tofuerky and 'boca burgers' and although never bought them myself, I loved the taste. I'm not one who has the clearance to go about attaining hormones of any type and the idea of growing breasts makes me leery as Im not sure I want ANY like definite …

I thought I'd post this as a companion topic to the TG Movies thread. Does anybody have any links to online TG comix or graphic novels they'd like to share? I have been a longtime reader of Venus Envy, and always enjoyed it immensely, although, sadly, the updates have been far-and-few-between lately. This morning while link-surfing I was fortunate enough to come across the Jack Pallett Refridgeration online comic book. The genre is gutterpunk--and definitely much grittier than VE, but I find the artwork and storyline to be some of the most compelling and engrossing work of its kind I've ever seen. At any rate, I just thought I'd post these for those who might…

My partner told me of a coworker sitting in office. They were looking at the old picture of me that Deb keeps on her desk (they never let go of those old pictures). Her visitor, who knows me, said, "He certainly was a handsome man. But you know, he's not a bad looking woman." I'll take that as a deseant compliment since she's a lesbian. :D

Here's a list that I have with a short summary for each. A couple are not exactly TG but about waking up/reincarnated and being in the opposite gender's body, something most of us have dreamed about. Bonnie Switch (1991) : A sexist, chauvinist pig gets his just desserts when his angry ex-girlfriends murder him and he is reincarnated as a woman. Just Like a Woman (1992) : Gerald is a yuppie-like transvestite in his thirties. His wife arrives home earlier than expected and discovers female attire spread over their apartment. Not knowing anything about his habit, she misinterprets this and throws him (and the attire) out of their home and marriage. He rents a ro…

Hey, I'm a genetic 23-year old female who happens to be completely flat-chested, and it's wreaked havoc on my self-esteem/body image. I stumbled across this board while looking for hormone treatment for breast development. I know they can give this to girls who aren't developing properly during puberty--which, at 23, I am well past--but I figure if it can give genetic males some decent-looking breasts, it can probably help me out too. I'm desperate. I've tried various types of birth control (Ortho-Tri-Cyclin, Yaz) as well as those hokey breast enlargement pills (yep, I'm gullible), and none have had any impact on my breast size whatsoever. I am scared to death to …

I just saw this picture: www.divideby0.com/photos/2002-Anime-Expo/pics/DSCN1221.JPG and I thought, hmm, the girl on the right doesn't have that much of a figure, yet there's no question that she's a girl. I'm 36-32-37 myself and I wonder if my waist is 4 inches too large. After seeing that, I wonder, maybe my figure is okay?

I am looking for any insight that others might have. My partner is having a very hard time with my desire to transition. VERY HARD. She says she just can not see me as a man. She says that it is like me telling her the trees are red when she knows full well they are green. I feel like I am invisible. Like I keep trying to show her myself and she can not see or refuses to see. I have not worn women’s clothes in years and I have never liked wearing them. I have always been on the male end as far as interests. It is not like I am all of a sudden showing something that was totally hidden. I see that I am asking her to rearrange her own identity but she can not even accept my …

Hey. Maybe this is the wrong place for this topic, if yes, I appologize. I know I wasn't here for a while. Mostly because I kinda fought or you can say I am on my way but very confused. Okay to be more specific. So far I haven't "outed" myself here. I haven't said what I am. Welll I am a male in the body of a female. Thanks to this board and some really great friends I realized this. I found out what is "wrong" with me. Since I realized this I can say that I make a kinda morphosis. I live out my male soul. My closest friends don't call me by my female name anymore and one of them calls me man and brother what feels awesome. I also told some other people what I am an…

I hate to sound arrogant or immature. But.... I AM A GOOD KID. I want to be out o the closet so bad, but I'm terrified my parents will disown me. I don't have the money to support myself. I don't even have a license! I work only a few hours a week for minimum age. I love my mom and dad, but things are just getting so ridiculous! I've been homeschooled for the past few years, and I know that it was a good choice because I KNOW public school would have been a disaster. I am up against my wall and slowly going insane. My college counsellor told me she thinks I am suicidal and that the stress I am putting myself through could kill me. I'm going crazy! Please! Words of wisdom …

in a thread begun by one of the ladies, "How important to you is being passable..." one of them commented about the rationality of transitioning or not based on whether one is passable or not, "...none of this is rational for me... it's an emotional, soulful thing, existing *beneath* and behind my rational thoughts." to that, chris42 replied, "I never chose to dress as female. I always chose male because something inside me made me do it. I just could not put on female clothes once I had a choice." god, do i know that feeling! i never liked the frilly stuff my mum put me in. later, i tried to dress accordingly when i thought it was necessary, but it always felt wro…

I'm just curious and think it's interesting...More commonly, transsexual women are "straight," which means that they are attracted to men. I've read that it's the majority. So if it's the majority, then why are 95% of the transsexual women that post HERE attracted to other women? I just think it's an interesting topic that could be discussed. What do you all think is the reason behind this?

I was physically and/or sexually attracted to very few females during my teens, twenties and thirties. Since I considered myself a male to female transsexual at about age 40, especially in my 50's, I have been physically and sexually attracted to far more females than when i was younger. However, the strongest effect of seeing an attractive genetic female is not a desire to have sex with her, but a very intense desire and wish I could be as pretty, feminine and sexy as her. When I see a woman with a very nice, feminine figure, especially with large female breasts and a noticeable female rear, I very strongly wish I had such a lovely female figure, especially with …

I was at a transgender conference this weekend, and someone mentioned a sort of "puberty-blocker" that people are starting to use. Basically, if a child is diagnosed as TS at an early age, you can get some kind of implant that blocks puberty. Later when they grow up, they can decide whether to take it out and go through puberty, or start a different set of hormones. Has anyone else ever heard of this? -Lysander

I have a date this week, and I'm rather unsure as to when would be the best time to let her know that I wasn't born as a girl. I'm thinking that I should after spending sometime chatting with her (like say one or two hours), which I'm hoping is enough to establish who I am before this revelation might affect any of those ideas. Granted, it's going to change some, but I'm just not sure whether it's wise to wait so long or to be up front about the matter. I mean, I'm afraid I'll hurt her if she becomes attracted to me and then she finds out that I'm not a girl. I know she's interested in me, she contacted me first for crying out loud; I guess all I can do is hope that she w…
