I did a search through the forums before writing this and I didn't come up with any results, so I thought I'd ask. Can trans-women get PMS even without a menstrual cycle? Beeeecause I'm pretty sure I'm on mine. I've always had something that I've lovingly referred to as a "hormone spike" that started when I was living with a two room mates, one of whom was female. Back then we were directly in sync so I attributed it to being more of a sympathy things as my symptoms were present but not pronounced. I was also living with a much lower dose of hormones back then and had been on them for a much shorter period. At least back then it was easy to know what was happening - if sh…

Hi everyone, I just made an appointment for a consultation with an electrologist next Thursday and wanted to throw out a question - she said that it could be a year, with weekly 1-hour sessions, to finish. At this point I'm just planning to get my face done (the rest was removed via laser) - does that time frame sound right? Thanks! Christie

  7. This is a test as described below. There are five levels that score between -650 which indicates male and 650 which indicates female. I think there were 60 plus questions. I scored 600 so it looks like I am on the right path. Before taking the test I suggest doing what I did, just take it, do not dwell over the answers but do carefully read each question. There is one question that is really something, I read it three times before responding. Would love to hear how you score and your thoughts on the scores. A unique test designed specifically for the uncertain pre-transitional Male-to-Female gender dysphoric. The first comprehensive gender dysphoria test, COGIATI …

Hey, I am browsing the internet once again, and this forum But as I always end up, I feel so overwhelmed.. I always end up getting a headache and closing down the browser after a few hours. Simply because I cannot figure out where to start.. I wanna find breast implants, but I always end up on an American site (Wich I don't know if it ship to Europe) I already gotten some make-up Rimmel London Wake me up (Foundation) Rimmel London Wake me up (Consealer) Maybelline Mascarra Loreal Paris (Powder) I like make-up. and I think these fit both my skin color pretty well, but is there more I need? What do a transgender need more? I wanna try and "hide" most my masul…

I just posted a blog entry which prompted me to write the following. I have been living as a female while still male for over a year and in that time could almost make myself look like a male but even then was addressed as a female most of the time. In that time I could talk about my ex-wife and children but what has changed since becoming female is the part about the ex-wife does not work anymore as it can be misconstrued and open up questions I am not willing to answer to some people. So I wanted to pass this on to others who may not have considered the fact that something in the past after transitioning may be awkward to provide a decent reply to if you don’t want t…

If you were sitting in a room with post-op's and/or some that have been 'out' full time and could ask them any question what would it/they be? I was never shy when given the opportunity and one of the best opportunities is finding local groups. Personally the group I found on the East Coast was not close but did go a few times and made it worth while by asking questions.

I saw a advertisement for GO GIRL, a product that allows females to pee standing up. I purchased one because you never know. One than once I have been stuck in traffic for a long time and had to pee when still a male and would pee into a water bottle which is messy but better than letting go in my pants or simply suffering. So I am keeping this in my glovebox of my car. If I were to get stuck in a traffic jam I could slip into the backseat, get into position (have tried it with my pants up) and pee. Cars besides me might see something but heck if I care at that point when there is no end in sight to the traffic jam. I normally travel a major road, speed limit is …

What I have done for years is to have a pair of breast forms and a backup pair just in case. Well it appears my backup pair (never worn) will be collecting dust unless I sell them or give them away. So here is the deal, give me a really good reason to give them to you. I will allow this thread to be open for say a month or until I deem someone has provided a good reason why they should be given these forms. At that time I will have that person give me an address to ship them too and of course I will pick up the shipping. Let the games begin Forms, size 3 http://www.thebreastformstore.com/breast-form-store-gold-seal-classic2.aspx

After shopping for skin care products, I feel overwhelemed at all the choices. Narrowing my choices down, I have chosen a toner, moisturizer with an spf rating and a sensitive skin facial cleanser. In general, are use of these products adequate for daily outdoor exposure?

  14. Hi I just turned 18 and I really want to try sex with a tgirl im versatile but I don't know how or where to meet a tgirl and I just want to confirm my sexuality in the most respectful way possible. I've been watchin tgirl porn for 3 years now and I always feel bad after I finish and I don't know if it's just me on a porn tangent or me actually attracted to tgirls. I kept running into escorts but I don't want to meet anyone like that to be honest. Id rather see what it's like and if I like receiving anal penetration as much as I like i watching it this will confirm I just don't want to make any big movements into the community without testing the waters. PLEASE HELP! I nee…

So I am very lucky to have such a supportive mother. I was talking to her about all the things I have coming up with process and making my decision. She was amazed at everything I was telling her about hormones. Shes being there as usual and I am very lucky. We even discussed a bit womens names, so I have a couple good ones. I feel thats alot weight off. I also will be seeing my Dr Thurs to go over hormones levels as they are. I am kinda hoping that they are low and close to woman's. Im looking for those signs... I guess we will game plan the hormone regimen as well.... I have not started blogging yet but probably will once a firm decision and plan is in place. …

Heyy everyone. I have read some of the boards and I know this will vary on case by case basis and the dr's will give me in depth knowledge. THIS IS STRICTLY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND OPINION. Are the hormones taken BioIdentical? Or is it the chemical kind? Also I see people taking pills but from my research they say that it is bad for liver and shots are better?? Opinions on this?

  18. One more step... I am not full-time but working steadily toward it. something inside pushed me to do it. I called Macy's and asked to get in touch with the MAC counter took apointment for a make-up lesson, the lady noted it and set it and asked me "for you ? " "yes". D-Day... nice lady's trousers, long slim top I am getting used to my new female haircut, hiding the mandatory earrings. At the counter, I was surprised that the make-up artist was a beautiful young man. I asked him for chosing the colors as I was a perfect debutante. M yidea was to test only for foundation and powder so my make-up was not very visible today. He not only looked but tested .…

i know this might seem a silly question...but im curious.....can the hormones make you stiff and sore in the mornings when you wake up....cause i was reading that some gals have said that hormones affect your bone structure slightly...idk...

  21. I've read recently that mothers who took DES hormones during their 1st trimester (which was common for women in the 1950s who had trouble with pregnancy) may have affected their male babies in utero. The DES (which is essentially a synthetic estrogen) interfered with and reduced the testosterone surge in the middle of the 2nd trimester, which may have led to the male baby's "misalignment" between sex and desired/preferred gender. In other words, this might lead to the child's being MTF transgender. I don't know if my mother took DES and it's impossible for me to find out as she's deceased and medical records are not available. I looked around and was surprised to s…

My day began with a visit to my therapist who said she would have my letter of recommendation out the last week of the month. She asked me when you plan to change your name. I said after surgery is performed. She responded with, no need to wait, I will write you a letter for DMZ and said she is on a list with them for this. I am moving up the date to change my Driver’s license and official name change in general to December instead of March or April as originally planned. Got home and while in the bathroom noticed my bangs were getting long and for the first time decided to have my bangs trimmed by my regular hair stylist. I walk in and the owner gives me a strange loo…

I was sitting down thinking about what to expect for my sex drive after being on hormones for close to a year. Most stuff I read indicated a diminished sex drive and they were right at least for me and if I did not think about it I would had forgotten all about it. Will be interesting to see what I am like one year from now.

I was sitting at work eating lunch at my desk when a call came through with no caller ID. I said hello (if I know the caller i say Hi this is Karen or Hi this is Kevin), the woman on the other end said 'is this Karen', got up and walk to an area I could talk. It was Robin from Doctor Bower's office confirming my surgeries and told me to expect a packet shortly to being their process with me. The only question I had was to find out which day I needed to be there as they want you there one or two days ahead of time. My hope was one day as hotel rooms cost $170 per night and was hoping for Monday (surgery is Tuesday) rather than Friday as I did not want to spend Thursday …

I get into the elevator at work; there is one woman already on the elevator. Doors closes, she looks at me and says (actually I forget the exact words) how do you like to be addressed? I know what she is referring too and said, “It’s obvious to you?” and she replied with ‘I am reading a strong female presence from you’. It is not that long of a ride and we both get off on the same floor with nobody around. She told me that a woman in her family is transitioning from female to male, which is one of the reasons she felt comfortable talking to me. I asked her if I was presenting male or myself more as a female? Her response was easily female. I really felt good about this co…
