  3. Hi my name is "Skibz" and my best friend of 15 years is transgendered and NEEDING to transition from his female body into the male body he was meant to have. I've always kind of figured my bestie was trans because he expressed many things growing up that are kind of common transgender feelings about being in the wrong body and wanting to be male and such. Anyways I'm a HUGE supporter of him transitioning and I just want to do everything I can as his best friend to be the best support I can be for him as he's deciding what exactly he wants to do and going through the trials of living in this body that's such a prison for him and in a world that doesn't always accept or und…

  6. Started by grasshopper,

Hello everyone, First of all, I hope that I am not offending anyone for blogging on here. My goal is not to condemn or criticize. It is quite the opposite. I am here to learn and perhaps give support. My name is grasshopper and I am a 36 year old cisgendered woman. I identify has female, although poorly at times. This June, I married my wife who is transgender (MtF). She used to blog on this website. She told me it helped her very much. I want people to now how much I love my wife. I wish I knew her prior to her transition. I would have helped her. In actuality, she has to face transitioning by herself. Her transition was successful for the most p…

So, first post - always hard to know what to say. I identify as MtF transgender; and I'm starting to find my way in the world. I'm out to some close friends socially and at work, although not fully yet. I hope that will change as my confidence grows. Anyway I will lurk a bit, say hi if you like.

  11. Started by Rae,

Well, I've decided to start trying to figure some things out. I'm in my late twenties and have been questioning for about a year. I'm biologically male and I've been comfortable with that until recently. Now I don't really know. I've always wondered what it would be like to be a woman and have fantasized about it often, but I've never thought of myself as being trans. Sometimes I use female psuedonyms online, and when I do, I'm able to express myself more honestly. That's mostly what has me thinking. So, I'll see where this leads me. I'm looking forward to learning more about my own identity and the experiences of others.

I am very excited to have found TG Guide. So many great resources on this site. Even though many are not super relevant for Thailand, your personal stories are always relevant. It's cool to read about people's journeys. I hope you guys will consider reading my story, which I have posted on my FundRazr page (link below). I appreciate any kind of feedback you might have. http://fnd.us/c/brsP5/sh/c41OH7

Hi, everyone. My name's Morgana, and I'm part of the US military. I'm also trans, but I don't feel that should determine my ability to serve my country. I'll probably be asking for advise a lot, so I hope I don't annoy anyone.

I completely forgot to do this until now.... Hi my name is Benjamin Friday. I'm a twenty-four year old writer from Connecticut. I have a Pomeranian, Drive a smart car and attend college. I also have a amazingly understanding partner. I've been out amongst family and friends for years, but since February I've begun to transition publicly. half of my writing is based on the awkward state of being trans, and how people react around me. I used to feel awkward about how I felt, now I feel embarrassed and awkward for others because they should be the ones feeling that way.

Hello everyone, I'm Gloria. I have not been at the TG Guide in I think tens years or so. My best friend at that time here was named Annie, and I met her in Memphis, Tenn at the airport before her flight. I got so sad after that time because I could not do anything with my female feelings, that I purged everything female and kept to myself. Now, in the past three weeks, My female feelings are coming back out and I long for female friendship to help me feel, female again . I know that I may never be able to live or change to female in my life as I don't have the means of funds to do it, But maybe I can feel female here! None of my family or friends know about my feelings…

  24. Started by bluemoon,

Androgynous is my more lifelong familiar and safer zone or label, if I have to pick one, but I've become increasingly in touch with and appreciating my inner female part or identity over the years (better late than never). Inwardly, I am equally male and female, or perhaps a kind of third gender which combines both into something beyond either alone. Besides my inner androgynous nature, not too long ago I discovered that there's also a hidden anatomical aspect to it. I embrace both parts of me and am not in conflict about it. I love that I am the way I am, but the female part only comes out fully with a few close, intimate girlfriends. I hope to share experiences and supp…
