  1. Started by Crystal,

My name is Crystal and I just joined this site and wanted to say hello.

  2. I just discovered this site and feel very fortunate. I'm a newbie but I guess everyone has to be one at one time.

  3. Started by ElainMoria,

Hello, my name is Elain and I am happy to make your acquaintance. I currently reside in Eastern Washington in one of the larger cities on that side of the state. I found TGGuide through a person I know on FB who is also here. As I am always very interested in finding and meeting people who actually have a clue about the things I am dealing with I felt that joining would be a good thing. Politically I am on the liberal side of the spectrum. Socially I tend to be isolate. Spiritually I am Pagan. I am far better at interacting with computer systems than I am with people. I like to joke that I am a Trans-Hat (If you know what that means, props, if not... you don't want to kno…

  4. Started by Lizz,

Found this group through twitter and it all seems super positive, so I decided to join up. I am thinking about starting a blog on here, but have a feeling it could to turn into a full blown book. I enjoy being a nerd, a coffee snob, a hipster and riding my fixie. I hope to have some great discussions with you all in the future. Have a good day

Well here's me. 43 years old and finally moving where I know I should be. Married, but that is changing soon, dad of 3. Been on HRT since the end of March 2015. Other than how slow things seem I love every part if this. I am vocal in twitter and Facebook. And from the encouragement of my sisters actually started a timeline with photos. Next step is YouTube vids. I attend Gender Alliance of South Sound meetings in Tacoma, WA. Have also attended PFlag meetings. And well cannot think yet of what else to add. Looking forward to exploring this site.

Hi, everyone. Although I'm new here, I'm not new to the wonderful world of becoming a woman. I am so happy to find you and I'll be active in the discussions. It is so important that we support each other along this beautiful but sometimes difficult journey. No matter our stage or goals, supporting one another is so important. I'm lucky to live in California where I am very comfortable living my true self. Thank you to the moderators and administrators for making this forum possible and to all of you who contribute. Warm hugs, Alana

  10. Started by Colby,

Hello everyone! My name is Colby and I am an Female to Male transgender. I'm only a teenager and have been really confused as to actually go through with transitioning to male. Even though I have been sure for a while that I want to be a guy, I still am hesitant to do any medical and/or social changes that I could either regret or have negative repercussions. I'm not sure if that makes me an actual transgender, I haven't even had people call me by male pronouns (however, I have to thank my parents for giving me a more masculine name, kudos to them!), and I've told my parents that I'm still comfortable being referred to as a girl, even though I'm not. I don't want to tell …

Hello folks I am a 46 year old man who likes to crossdress. For me both genders comprise my identity and don't feel dysphoric. I've had B-cup beasts since 12 years old and have tried in vain to hide their existence until recently. I am old enough now to partly to not care as much what others might think and am embracing not only their existence but the rest of my feminine side as well. I have a few sets of bra/panty sets that I purchased and am looking to expand my feminine wardrobe. I am bisexual and am attracted to a compatible personality than what genitals a person has.

  13. I would like to say Hello to everyone here, and a nice thank you to the people who started this wonderful resource center, and to the maintenance team and all the volunteers who give their time for us. My nickname is Lulu, I am a sixty year old female. I started my actual transition in 2009 and had SRS in Bangkok Thailand in November 2010. I returned to Thailand in 2012 for additional surgeries. Thailand is my home, it is where I was born. As with many of you, I have only begun to live and there is so much to do ! I have read many posts, and I believe that everyone visiting this resource center will benefit greatly from the wealth of information and suggestions. Thank yo…

I had a lot written out about me a few minutes ago but i was logged off for some reason and lost all of my work, and i am too lazy today (literally i have been sitting around, skimming books, and talking to friends while getting little school work done) to write it again so i am going to keep it short. I am a 23 years old transgender woman. I just gathered up the courage to go through with transitioning to a female, but i have been silently thinking about it since i was like 9 years old perhaps younger. I came across this site looking for resources to figure out what exactly i want to do and how to do it. I like forums because i can talk to people and get feed back which …

  15. Started by Michele800226,

I see I have never officially introduced me, so here goes. I've been on the site for a while now. And given some insight into me from the blogs I've compiled. I'm a young 35 year old transgender female, who have been on hormones for almost 3 years, but has known that I wasn't who my body thought I should be. I had to wait till I was strong and independent enough from my family to start my transition to whom I've always felt I was. Because my biggest support passed away when I was old enough to start my journey and the overriding factor my mom was the only one to be around. My oldest sister's say wasn't going to help much, so I needed to make my stance in numerous…

I'm new here. Call me DiscreteLoner for now. It's my internet name when I don't have to use my real name. I am 20 years old. I've just discovered about trans less than 3 months. I am a transmale which means I born female with the inside of male. I've always see myself that way since I can remember, but I've just discovered the appropriated and more accurated term to discribe myself. I'm glad I found this community. Discovering how people like me live their lives encouraging me to try to follow my dream. It gave me hope that at least I don't have to live in the shadow forever till the day I die. I am in a learning state. I gather as much information as I can. I am …

Hello everyone. Allow me to introduce a side my friends and family refuse to acknowledge. I am gender fluid, I have all the "male" parts, but I mostly identify as female. This is where it has always been hard for me, and most people shun me.... I identify as a female bi-sexual with male parts.... Since I was 14, I accepted my feminine side, even embraced it, then when coming out to LGBT for who I am, I was ostracized for wanting it all... That's not the case, I would trade my parts for the female equal. But I am all over, I want that, I want to express me female side, while giving what I have with "male" parts. Am I being selfish? I want so badly to be just accep…

Hello everyone, I have been struggling with my life for years now and without going into a very long story, I have decided that the time has come for me to be honest with myself and seek medical help and become the woman I have know I should have been. I have chosen the name Laura-Ann Caryl ............ , I miss my mum, she was Caryl Ann ............. , as I wanted to stay close to my mum's memory I used her name but in the other order and added the Laura as Ann didn't sound right on it's own as a first name. Feel free to stop by and ask me anything Hugs and Kisses Laura-Ann

So, as I was checking my email there was a message from Twitter suggesting I follow transgender guide. So, I did. Then I got a message from someone saying I should check out the site. So, again, I did. I've been wondering around the site for a bit and decided to sign up. I was reluctant because I used to be a member of another support type site like this, but god forbid you say something that doesn't follow the status quo or some such thing. So, who am I? I'm a 48 year old transgender woman who finally got sick of pretending to be a man. I told my wife before we said our I dos and after a slow start, she has been my biggest supporter. I then told my three children, my br…

  21. Started by Christine,

Hi. I am a middle-aged man beginning my transition to being the woman I have always been inside. In fact, my first foray out semi-dressed was Thursday...I rocked the tall boots, black jeans not too tight and a conservative but obviously feminine blouse. My hair looks feminine when I give it a loose pony tail...but I made no other attempts at presenting as a woman. As it turned out, I didn't have to- the few sideways looks I got told me I was rocking the femininity! Geez, it felt great. It is hard to put into words how good it felt... So I hope my sisters in this forum can have outings like I just had. If I could post a pic or two, I can show you all my journey ste…

Hello All I'm a mentally out transgender girl what I mean by that is I have not yet really changed my physical appearance so much yet... but i'm perfectly honest with everyone about my gender identity so much so that I lost most of my friends and support outside of my family my old church that I had attended for four years has shunned me because of this. I started a blog here check it out by looking at my profile activity. I'm also active on Youtube and twitter. And I love meeting new people and helping people out

Hi. I've been a visitor to this site for some time but I finally decided to sign up today. I've followed @TGGuide on Twitter for quite a while. I'm a trans male. I'm not totally out and I don't always present as male because of that. I haven't tried to transition. Not fully, anyway. I'm based in the UK and I'm - shall we say - an older member of the human race. Okay, I'm ancient. But after many years of hiding and faking my way through life, I can feel that society is finally changing, and I'm finally gaining the confidence to be more out and to work towards becoming the authentic me. So I just wanted to say hello. I've read many of your discussions and blog entries and I…
