Hi I'm Jennifer and live in St Louis. I have been "crossdressing" since age 8 and until maybe the last decade, never considered the real reasons and motivations to do so. Today I consider myself to be a transwoman. I have not fully come out as a woman and hate having to hide it more than anything else...especially from family. I have been through the "purging episodes", getting rid of her so I would be normal but always come back to me. I want to find other TG/TS persons experiencing the same feelings and be able to share or express, maybe even find help or give some. I know it sounds as though I am a newbie, after 40 years of feminizing myself I probably have some things…

  7. Hiya, y'all!!! My name is Jennifer!!!! I am 32 years old, and I realized just last year that I am M2F transgender. I was in denial about it though, but it wasn't until I started writing in a journal about my feelings that I truly realized that I was transgender. I had discovered that all of the signs were there when I was younger, but back then, I had no idea what being transgender even meant, and so it was easy to overlook it. Now that I have moved passed the denial stage, I am just trying to understand it all. I haven't transitioned or even gone to see a gender therapist yet, I have merely been dressing in feminine clothing in secret, practicing putting on makeup, and..…

Hello all, My name is Erica Elizabeth Ravenwood, owner of a website called TheTransgenderMovement.com which I started as a way to give more information. http://www.thetransgendermovement.com/ I have been transgender my whole life. I was aware I was female at three years old but spent the next forty plus years learning how to deal with that knowledge. I have spent the last two exhausting years developing ways to explain the basics surrounding the topics concerning transgender people. What I found was the similarities all people have. What I have tried to give you are the arguments to show that. I've done quite a bit of teaching throughout NY state. Psychologists, physicia…

Hello everyone. I just came out as transgender MTF to my husband of 20 years... He is the most amazing guy he is all excited about starting this new chapter in our lives. I know we have a long road ahead of us. I finally got the courage to tell him what I have known all my life. I am in the wrong body... I have a few questions for those who live in the Tampa Bay Area. Is there a community or area that GLBT community lives meaning a place like Provincetown Mass or Key West where we can move to? Also is there a female Doctor in the area I can go see so I can who specializes in MTF trans so I can get the proper medical care and start HRT. Is there a therapist with a PHD. th…

  12. Started by Arrrein,

Okay, so hi! This is a pretty big step for me. I've just sort of come to admit to myself and recognise that what I comfortably know myself as is not what i've always known, its transgender. I am quite comfortable and happy with that knowledge within myself; i've got a fairly realistic vision of who I am as a person. I have a solid picture of my beliefs that leads me to say that. But its a pretty big thing to say for one of the first times ever. Last week I couldn't see a reason to wake up tomorrow. I'd literally written the universe off. I saw no future. And suddenly the anxiety thats stopped me being me all my life has dropped away. Gender identity is one aspect, a prett…

Hello all you beautiful people! I will just start by talking about myself. Someone please tell me to stop ... Cuz I won't ☺️ My name is Gabi. I'm 26 and have been a CD for just a month or so... I have been depressed for a decade ! I feel like I just woke up from the LONGEST nap! Lol . I have more energy than I ever did as a teenager and I really need some resources to help me along the way. I don't want to just dress as a woman, I want to start taking hormones safely as soon as possible without rushing in to it. I feel like I lost so much time though :/ is 26 too old for HRT? Everyone says no but I would like as many opinions as possible. I am passable. I have a girly fac…

Hi everyone, I'm Amber. I am a single country girl who is south of Orlando, Florida. I am a non-op trans girl who began my transition in 1995. I was blessed with a relationship with a wonderful man for 18 years until heart trouble took him from me in 2013. I had originally planned for srs in 2012 but circumstances beyond my control changed my plans. My main goal now is to live my life according to what makes me happy and not dwell on things beyond my control like how people think I should be living.

Hello, New to the group here. Im a bit of an oddball. Ive never had issues with my maleness, but have always been drawn to the beauty of the female form. For the longest time, I thought its was just a combination of growing up in the hair band era, and being a typical horny teen. Lol. However, as ive grown, I found out, quite bluntly, and unexpectedly, that I was mt?. Some memories suddenly made much more sense. The experience was certainly enjoyable. Now I'm looking to connect to others like me, and learn and grow more. Looking forward to getting to know the group here :-)

  23. Started by KittenNikki,

Hi everyone. I'm going on 39, living in Ohio, and have apparently been very confused about my gender for a very long time. I did manage to hide most of it from my wife for over 17 years, but it all came out a few weeks ago when she found some things I'd thought I'd stashed. I very much had the purging behavior and never really dealt with it much until it really came to a head when I got saddled with some work hours that left a lot of time on my hands and let me think on things and I fell into a depression over it and started to really self-examine. When I was a child, I don't remember my exact age other than that it was after my sister was born and before we moved into to…

Hi HI, I'm Luna nice to meet ya all. I just found this community and am giving it a whirl. I hope to meet some nice folks. Hmm about me... well I have been in the closet a long time and withen the last 5 or 6 months i came out as female... I havent started any HRT or anything at the momment so A pony is all you see of me :P. I do a lot ... A LOT of human rights advocacy for work mostly around race and mental health shenanigans. I am pretty happy about life and as for my story I am trying to decide if I want to follow through with transitioning ( its expensive ) or just keep it really queer. I dunno what else to say so thats a tid bit into my world and perhaps in ti…

  25. Started by ChiDreams,

Just a short note, so folks will know where I'm coming from. Since I was seven, I knew something was wrong. Born male, I would frequently go to sleep, praying I would wake up female in the morning. Try as i might, I never 'fit in.' Never having any interest in men, I was often assumed to be gay. I tried many jobs, had many adventures- all in the hope of finding my place in life. Around 1990 I was in Chicago, and began to transition. I was about 32 then. Dressing in leggings and tunics, with womens' shoes, I was right at that magical point where folks began to think I was female. I sought HRT, but was put off by the various barriers put in by the gatekeepers back then. I l…
