Hi everyone. I'm Jen. I'm in my 50s and after many years of therapy, I've come to the point where I can admit to myself and my therapist that I am transgendered. I've felt wrong since I was 9 years old, but didn't understand it for a long time, then I denied and repressed those feelings. My wife and I have been married for over 30 years and we have two grown kids (one a junior in college). I live on Long Island, NY. I'm a lawyer with a small general practice. My wife would not take me coming out very well. I think my kids would be more accepting. My therapist is encouraging me to reach out to support groups, so here I am. She thinks some sort of group therapy d…

I am in my 50's and have been cross dressing for as long as I can remember. Most of the time I feel like I should be a woman but have not reconciled with my thoughts as yet. Hopefully someday I'll be able to have the confidence to act.

Hello Everyone, My name is Chloe and I last year I had an awakening to my true self. As a small child, I wanted to be a girl but that was not allowed. I grew up feeling sensitive, feminine and nurturing but hid those feelings. I finally shed my false and toxic masculine outside and accepted who I really was. All my life I fought feelings that I was broken, flawed and not good enough. I have crossdressed on and off often ending in a purge with guilt and shame. That is behind me. As far as transition, I am a woman on the inside and always have been. There is nothing wrong with me. I am still working on the outside physical transition to complete woman. I hope to make f…

Hello, I am terrible with introductions. They always make me feel uncomfortable. I guess its the fear of rejection, both my own and others, that makes it so hard. Any way, here it goes... I am a 43 year old trans-woman who is just beginning my transition. I have struggled with being myself for as long as I can remember. My primary method of dealing with being transgender was avoidance, drugs, and food. I have recently reached a point where the suffering associated with not being myself is greater than the risk of being myself. I love nature from the big to the small. I am fascinated by the natural sciences and the diversity of life. I am a religious natural…

Hello everybody, I am an old member on Tgguide but 3 years ago I lost my device & details for accessing tgguide. Now miraculously I have managed to find my username and password via backup files stored in the garage. I have been in transition for over 8-9 years from m to f into cute lady. I have a YouTube channel "Shazy Jeo" as its name goes. However most of my newer videos are non- transgender related. I found out through popularity trans content was not up there with mainstream media topics. But anyone can check the transgender crossdresser related videos from 2012-2016 by scrolling the videos. Still a die hard transitioner into a women in Covid-19 in 202…

Hi. I came to recognizing my trans identity through Second Life, and I found this resource through @Bonnie (Hi Bonnie! Remember me? Desiree from Suzy's Party?) I don't really know how to start, nor where to go. (deletes a couple of paragraphs of details that probably shouldn't go into an introduction, we'll tackle that later) Anyway.. I'm 51 years old (as of last month) I'm still living my daily life as a man I recognize my woman avatar in Second Life as "me" just as much as the person I see in the mirror in the morning I don't have dysphoria I'm pansexual I came-of-age in Southern Illinois during the 80s. In the community I lived among, being ho…

I think I am one of those individuals who has something called alternating gender incongruity. While it hasn't been overly troublesome it exists. I don't usually see it coming and when it happens it like something has thrown a switch in my brain. When I was younger if I had to choose one gender it would be male. I have male genitals with some slight anomalies. I don't think I'm intersexed. Bi-gender or gender fluid may explain it to some degree. I have more serenity when I'm in female mode and I like that feeling. I've taken online gender tests and I come out as 70% female but I don't know how reliable they are. I've had long hair for the past 15 years or so. …

Hello Everyone, I am Ally (61 years old), transitioning late in life. For years, I told everyone I was a gay man, but that never felt right. It was just a compromise. Like most MTFs I have spoken with, I wish I had started sooner, but I am very happy to take the step now. I am not one to spend a lot of time on regrets. My transition has been a gradual process -- first going through electrolysis -- and only starting HRT in early 2018. I took a break from HRT in early 2019. I just put it on hold because of other stuff in my life. Also, my results weren't that great. My estrogen level never rose above 28 -- still in the range of a man not on hormones. My doctor was…

  20. I've felt trapped in my body from a very young age and made to conform to the stereotypes of what a man should be the older I get the more I just want to be me. I'm 51 y/I disabled since I had a dirt bike accident 18 years ago that left me paralyzed from my nipple line down. I've been a closet crossdresser for around 40 years it has always made me feel more alive when I'm dressed the way I feel inside. I live in idaho i haven't been able to connect with any LGBT groups as of yet that's why i reach out online for more info. Thanks for having this group I'll probably be posting questions you all can help me with 😍💋
