I'm new to the community and glad to be a part of it. Life has not been an easy place to live. Not by any stretch. But I'm a believer that we are each uniquely situated, where we are supposed to be in this life right this moment. Call it karma dharma or whatever you want but to me it makes sense. Anyway I grew up state care. Learned to live a life I thought everyone else thought I should...just to fit in, avoid trouble, but ultimately that created a situation that caused me to lose my childhood, and most of my adult life. I've finally come to realize my mask was not working, so I'm now relearning how to just be me for me. I'm about 10 months into HRT with a goal of gende…

Thank you for a wonderfully informative site. I'm not sure what is really going on with me, I'll give you a few things from my past and present and maybe you can help. I've always been into women's clothes and intimates from a very young age, around 7 or 8 best I can remember, mom's nylons, panties and bras, older sister's pantyhose. I've always had the feeling that I wanted to be the woman when having sex and usually at get togethers I enjoy hanging with the women. My wife prefers me to pick out clothes for her when we go shopping, says I have so much better taste in women's clothes. I'm a male in my sixties now and still have these feelings and still dress up when I get…

Hello all, I am Miriam a life long CD starting from age 12. Nothing unusual about that as many of you started about the same time, some even sooner. I'm a former NY resident that now lives in Florida. I'm 6'1 in heels and now a size 12, not so bad for a gal my age. Florida brought a list of challenges for me. In NY, because it has 4 seasons meant I could have a wardrobe for every season, not so in Florida, where its almost summer always. Getting rid of my winter fashions was hard to do, but gave those outfits to charity. I now wear summer clothes 90% of the time. I wear a lot of high heeled sandals now so keeping my legs in good shape. I now great a pedicure about ev…

I'm 42 Transgender I grew up in a single mother home the youngest of 4 and the only boy. And was essentially raised as a female. It started with my sister's playing dress up with at an early age there are even old pictures of me dressed up in a pretty little dress with pig tails and bows in my hair. Being around all females all the time I developed a deep appreciation for the female body. In my very breaf public school experience I got picked on beat up and bullied by both boys and girls, because of my feminine appearance and wardrobe choices, all my decision, my mother bought me boy clothes but I refused to wear them, they weren't pretty and i felt un…

I'm 79 years old and even before puberty, I knew "something" was making me wanting to wear my mother's underwear (not sure with or without her knowledge) and when the Sears catalog arrived, I went to the women's foundation section and dreamed of wearing them, of having breasts that filled the cups of the bras. Only now do I realize why I would like to take the next steps. I dream of being a women and wearing those "foundations" that Sears offered. But because of a wife that would divorce me (she would if I ever told her) and kids that would not understand... I can only dream

Hi everyone, I really don't know what to say here other than hi. I'm quite terrified of what I'm doing (or actually about to start doing) I've hidden it for my whole life and the few times its been noticed I have been berated at best and at worst beaten senseless. I've now told exactly three people in my entire life, all of them recently, what I am having known on some level since I was around three or four. A few other people figured it out on their own and it was ok, and in one case really good, the rest have been harrowing experiences that made me hide it as best I could. I've decided that its time to stop hiding and do something about it, but I'm scared witl…

Hi all, just found this site and I am thrilled in reading what I have so far. This is an amazing outlet to get questions answered, get tips, and generally have fun it appears. I hope you will all welcome me, I started dressing as early as 4 years old, I kept it a secret till I was 30, and I came out at 50. I wasted so much of my life hiding and not being me and now I am so happy being out and living every day as my true self. Not saying there aren't situations and days, and dating ugh, such a challenge and guys are so awful sometimes but I hold on to the hope that better days are ahead and there is someone out there for me. Bless you all and thank you for allowing me to p…

Hello, I am super new to all of this as I've just begun my journey as a trans woman. I'm pre-everything. I found this community through my therapist. I live in rural Illinois with my amazing wife and beautiful 9 month-old daughter. I've only come out to my wife, therapist, and an old friend. Rural Illinois is not the best place right now. I hope that I will be able to connect with folks, find resources, and figure out a plan for moving forward.

Hello all, I'm new here. My name is Rita. I'm non-binary. I recently started my journey as a trans woman. I will be starting HRT very soon. I have come out to my dad and step mon. A few members of management at work know as well. I still present as male in public and work. I'm working on changing that. Another thing I would like to work on changing is having friends that understand about being trans. Some girlfriends to just hang out with, go shopping with, talk girl stuff. I would at some point like to find a real relationship with someone who really appreciates me for me and not someone looking to fulfill some fantasy. After all I'm a real human with real feelings. I lo…

Hi, my name is Summer. I have lived most of my life as male but always felt uncomfortable being male. I always felt female but I was never allowed to be me until now. So I’m starting my journey and becoming more feminine every day! I didn’t have anyone to talk to about this so I decided to join this site to find support and possibly friends going through the same things. It’s amazing to finally come out. I’ve never told anyone so your all the first to know.
