I'm 37, from Georgia MtF. I currently live in Taylorsville KY. I decide to start my transition in 2009; I was ready to dive in head first. My goal was to finish my transition by the end of 2010. It took me a few months but I finally found a therapist in Feb 2010. (not many to choose from in north GA) I also started attending the monthly group meets. After attending a few of them and see the problem everyone was having after they came out at work and home. I decided to slow my transition down a bit. I started HRT in May 2010. I still continued to dress at home and would go to ATL to go out in public dressed. I had worked in landscaping for most of my career and was very g…

Hello, my name is Margot. I've known I was female since I was 3/4. Found out what a transsexual was when I was 12. Came to terms that I was transgendered when I was 14. Came out to a few friends when I was 16. Openly admitted it when I was 18/19. Dressed publicly for the first time this year, came out to my family too. Now I'm mostly full time and looking to start taking hormones soon. I love music, I play guitar, piano, and sing. I enjoy writing songs and I love music in every genre, it's hard for me to find music I don't like. I love the outdoors, I camp, hike, run, and go for walks. I also like video games and movies. I study chemical engineering. That's me in a nutshe…

Hello My name is Helene Barclay, I live in the Highlands of Scotland. I am a transvestite, a man who enjoys female impersonation. I love the challenge of attempting to carry off a portrayal of a female and enjoy experimenting with make up, clothes and wigs. I won't deny there is something truly adventurous about taking on the appearance of the opposite sex and I enjoy the collision with my upbringing as such activities were considered taboo. I also enjoy confronting societies perceptions, prejudices and taboos. Being a transvestite appeals to me as I love the mystery of illusion. It is actually great fun to be a man yet shave your legs, your chest, sit in front of m…

I'm currently in Des Moines, Iowa. I am 40 and finally stopped fighting my self over wanting to be female. Told my family and they are supportive which was one of my biggest fears. I'm looking forward to trying life as a female though I still feel nervous and scared about how people will treat me. I've been dressing up in secret since childhood. I feel much more comfortable and at ease as a woman than I do as a male. When I dress up and see the woman in the mirror I feel this is the person I should be. I'm hoping to find friends in the area who can help me become more comfortable being the real me in public and maybe do some shopping.

Hello,I am Hailey and I am a crossdresser, started this year.I love being a crossdresser so far and trying new things. All started when my wife talked me into getting made over as a woman and I said no way at first. Then my step sister Julia stepped in and finally said yes.I say the toughest part was getting used to wearing a bra and walking in heels.I am getting used to both, practicing walking in the heels was a huge help thanks to my wife.My mother has been great about it,says she recieved a new daughter in her life.

Good evening ladies, Just checking in today after registering. I'm 28 years old, a hetero male, I love to cook, play video games, I'm a big reader but also a film buff. Oh yeah, I also love to self-femanise from time to time! Been a part-time crossdresser for a few years now, still closeted, but enjoying my secret identity as often as I can. Ever since I began this journey of self discovery, I've been seeking information from others who can relate and have/are going through the same things. I think I've reached a good level of self acceptance, the guilty feeling is gone for the most part, but I am still not ready to ask for the acceptance of society writ large.…

Hello all of TGG, On here I'll be using the name Brian. I'm 18 years old and recently came to terms with me being transgender. I've been aware of being transgender since around the age of 10. I was the blue eyed blonde haired little girl my grandmother adored. I was very confused and wasn't sure if I was supposed to say anything. But inside I knew that I was different then what I showed on the outside. I wanted to be the rebelious boy that ever parent loves to hate. Besides that I'm in college currently and looking for employment. I'm glad to meet all of you. Brian

Hello, My name is Karin', After years of making excuses, I am going to live my entire life as a woman.Started dressing and thinking as a girl very young...preschool years. Never stopped. I'll get more into details as I get comfortable on this site. (some details are very personal) I am currently searching for the right counselor/therapist to ensure I qualify for HRT, and to put the plan in place for letting everyone know. I dress and live every day as a woman, but only at home (and the occasional trips to TG friendly clubs) I've been out a few times but I felt so alone. I am going to get over that. I'm getting ready to do the "life experience" ...so I figured…

Hello, everyone. I was told of this site by a coworker of mine (whom of which I'm not sure desires to be named), and I've come to see what it's all about. Any suggestions for navigating the site? Introduction time. As previously mentioned, I'm Daniel. I'm a transman, and have been in active transition for about three years, now. Something was different for as long as I can remember. From kindergarten until my realization at 16, I was fighting a battle within myself I was uneqquiped to deal with. I always ran with the boys in kindergarten, trying to girl the girls 'cooties' and what not; when I started to hit puberty, I never wore what I should have for the develo…

Hi all. I saw a GP a couple of days ago and said that I was transsexual. She was the first person who I have told - at the moment no-one else knows. I felt better talking to someone about it (for the first time). She was understanding and it was a positive experience. I'm now waiting to see an NHS psychiatrist. I feel energised and confident but at the same time scared. My journey is starting. I'm 44 and fall into the category late onset transsexual. I've repressed my condition for many years, self-medicating etc. and in the past haven't really thought too much about whether I'm a transvestite or a transsexual. I've always deeply longed to be a woman and I think have b…

My fem name is Katherine. I'm 60 and still living as male. I had seen Ms. Hahn in Wilmington, NC for therapy sessions following the Harry Benjamin Standards of Care in the mid 90's. I was told after the sessions that I was ready to move on to living as a woman. I couldn't do it because of my marital commitment. I dearly wish I had. I'm hoping to find a mtf ts around my age that I can relate with. I'm in Fayetteville, NC.

Hello, all. My name is Sara. (Well, that's not my legal name, but I'm sure you know what I mean.) I actually registered a few weeks back, but it has taken me this long to work up the nerve to post something. I don't know if this is standard, but I see that Ben Verona has posted some background info in an introduction thread, so I thought maybe I'd do the same. Sorry in advance if this gets a bit long... I'm shy enough that if you met me on the street, you might need the Jaws of Life to get a full sentence out of me, but when it comes to writing, I can just keep going and going. The earliest memories I have of wanting to be a girl were sometime in the range of ages…

Hello, I'm new to this forum, just wanted to introduce myself. I am 51, a CD for a long part of my life and am in a "Don't ask, Don't Tell" relationship with my wife. I'm thinking that I am more than "just" a CD though, and I am a bit concerned and confused. Anyway, Hi to all, and I will pick an avatar soon.

My name is Riley. I have only just recently come out as transmasculine. By recently, I mean last night. I haven't told any family yet, because they've been too busy today. I have told a small number of trusted friends who have accepted me with open arms! And I'm happy for it! Maybe some advice to coming out to my family would be nice... Thank you. Any other questions are cool too!
