  2. Started by Eri,

I'm a 17 year old transgendered girl who didn't even know any of this was possible until a few years ago. And even then, I didn't have the courage to come out until just last year when I told my mom at one in the morning. Obviously the process felt so slow, but I'm finally starting hormones whenever I stop being sick and can get bloodwork done for it. For someone whose family can barely afford heat in the house, I didn't expect anything to work out. But it turns out, I have a good therapist, the best doctor on the east coast, and the soon-to-come hormones that are all covered by insurance, and not to mention a supporting family, even though friends are lacking in support.…

  6. Hi, I joined today. I'm Nek and I am from NYC area. I am thinking of coming out but am finding it difficult. I am a feminine young guy who always been a girl inside. You know what I mean? :-) When I come out I'd like to be called Roseline. I like to wear "chic" style. Anything else I can say? I have many things to say but right now I'm shy. :-) Thank you.

  7. Started by Allen,

Hello, all. My name is Allen. I'm a 21-year-old FTM, and I come from Houston, TX. I probably should have introduced myself before posting in the forums, but I probably also should have introduced myself when I joined a year ago. Oh well. I came out to my partner about 5 or 6 months into our now 3 year relationship. He's very supportive of me and of my transition. I'm out at college, my work, and with most of our friends and his sister. I've been at my job for 5 years now. I came out to them in September, and they have been so helpful and supportive. They are still adjusting to using the correct pronoun, but I was there so long as female that it's a slow moving…

Hi,I am Michelle and I am a pre op ts living as a woman, now 33.I was not lucky at first. It all started at an early age, about 5 years old that I had feeling I was truely a girl.I did raid my mom's closet and try on her shoes and pantyhose. She saw some were out of place.I was finally caught when I was 14 and she was not too happy including my own father.I finally said it to them that I am truely a girl. They did not accept it at all and kicked me out for good.I thought I was a lost cause after that and thank god my Aunt Bev came to the rescue.Brought me in to her home and said I was welcomed in.After that she saw I was not happy at all. Finally threw my male wardrobe out and …

Hi! My name is Dustin and I am new to TGGuide. I am also new on my transition journey. Because of where I live, it can take up to a year to see a specialist. I have been in contact with the gender specialist though and they say I am doing everything I can to prepare for the eventual appointment. I kind of laughted at one question they asked me. "Am I living as a male right now?" I said yes I am. I have een most of my life. Since I grew up as a tom boy and was never comfortable as a female, I began dressing and acting as a male at a very young age. Because it is what felt right to me. Anyway, just thought I would inrtoduce myself. Cheers everyone!

  12. Started by Luse,

What was it like trying to grow up like any other normal boy while mom is trying to dress me up and keep my hair long? Well I turned out gay! I guess being biologically female was something I never really paid attention to growing up. I've pretty much never doubted that I was more like my dad than my mom and that was pretty normal for me. When I learned about the birds and the bees I was in my teens and allthough I knew girls and boys were different that just meant ... well honestly nothing to me. I was just me and life was good. The only problems I ever have are with other people and their TV Diner Family programing. I am freaking fabulous, gorgeous, activ…

Standard stuff probably. Confused because I feel feminine and alone 'cause no one I'm around really understands it. But I've never felt completely like I was supposed to be woman so I guess it's gender dysphoria. I've always liked my own "feminine" features; wanted to be pretty, to be adored, and disliked my penis like it didn't belong. Don't know. COGIATI places me as probable "late onset" transexual but I've never put too much faith in those kind of tests. I find it increasingly difficult to make love as it seems wrong or I can't understand what I'm supposed to be doing. It only feels right when I'm being made love to. Bought womens clothes including wig …

Hi folks. I'm in my mid 50s with a male facade but a woman waving out the window. I am married and have a grown up son and daughter. I knew when I was 4 years old that I was female but thought I would keep it a secret for over 40 years. My ambition is to look in a mirror and a woman looks back. Far from achieved despite a nose job and hair transplant. Anyway, about me really. I am absolutely obsessed by space/cosmology. Even more so, sentience: just what happens that stuff becomes aware that its's stuff? At the moment I am reading Jane Eyre. Not my typical read but after reading a quote from it in The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls (Emilie Autumn) I was d…

  18. Started by Lee,

Hi, my name is Lee and I came over from Twitter just to say hello! I consider myself an ally to the Trans/Intersex/Crossdressing community--I, myself, am a woman who identifies as a lesbian. I work in education and am in a department at a college that works towards greater access for people who may have experienced barriers to higher education. Right now I'm working on a proposal for a summer program that would be aimed at the Trans, Intersexed, Genderqueer, Two-Spirit community---the program would include academic upgrading classes and workshops specific to the community's needs, to help increase access to education and work. Cross your fingers that my colleague an…

Hi, I am married, dad of 1 little girl, and reasonably successful in my career in healthcare science. I am also TG. I came out to my wife a couple of years ago. Primarily I crossdress, but I experience vast waves of dysphoria from time to time. We are both struggling on how to assimilate my transgendered-ness with our every day life. I've joined this forum to find out more.
