Hello. I'm Skyla. I'm new to this. I just realized that I'm not who I am. It took me years to really figure out why I was feeling different and down. When I talked to a friend of mine. He told me be who you really feel. So I told him who I really feel and her name is Skyla Marie Lynn. That is me. I know that it's a long process. But I'm will to take it. There are only a few people that know. But right now all I need is support and friendship. Love Skyla

Hi, I'm new. I've only been on one other site before this and well... it was a tad boring. I'm just a basic cross dresser and have no desire to transition, none of that. I'm totally happy being the man I am. I'm married to a great woman (also my friend here, SandCastle) and I'm here to just enjoy myself and maybe make a friend or two in life like me. Also, my SO is here too to possibly do the same... as we're both of course struggling a bit with all of it. I'm not here to hook up with anyone, just talk & like I said, maybe make a friend here & there. Feel free to say hi if you have something to say, if not, that's ok too. Thanks for looking &am…

I've suspected; a year ago, I even asked, "are we still using female pronouns?" So, it shouldn't have surprised me, but it did. I'm not girly, not even close, I just thought he was a rough and tumble girl like me. Any other Moms here? Any advice on how to get used to using his new name? We just made another lifestyle change - husband and I quit our jobs and are moving the family to a farm in another State. So, while it is a great opportunity for him to start fresh, entering the new school as a boy, I don't have the slightest clue where to find doctors for a cold, much less where to find doctors, counselors, and other stuff we'll need to correct his body. What will we ne…

Hello, all. My name is Allen. I'm a 21-year-old FTM, and I come from Houston, TX. I probably should have introduced myself before posting in the forums, but I probably also should have introduced myself when I joined a year ago. Oh well. I came out to my partner about 5 or 6 months into our now 3 year relationship. He's very supportive of me and of my transition. I'm out at college, my work, and with most of our friends and his sister. I've been at my job for 5 years now. I came out to them in September, and they have been so helpful and supportive. They are still adjusting to using the correct pronoun, but I was there so long as female that it's a slow moving…

So, as I was checking my email there was a message from Twitter suggesting I follow transgender guide. So, I did. Then I got a message from someone saying I should check out the site. So, again, I did. I've been wondering around the site for a bit and decided to sign up. I was reluctant because I used to be a member of another support type site like this, but god forbid you say something that doesn't follow the status quo or some such thing. So, who am I? I'm a 48 year old transgender woman who finally got sick of pretending to be a man. I told my wife before we said our I dos and after a slow start, she has been my biggest supporter. I then told my three children, my br…

Hello, everyone. I was told of this site by a coworker of mine (whom of which I'm not sure desires to be named), and I've come to see what it's all about. Any suggestions for navigating the site? Introduction time. As previously mentioned, I'm Daniel. I'm a transman, and have been in active transition for about three years, now. Something was different for as long as I can remember. From kindergarten until my realization at 16, I was fighting a battle within myself I was uneqquiped to deal with. I always ran with the boys in kindergarten, trying to girl the girls 'cooties' and what not; when I started to hit puberty, I never wore what I should have for the develo…

I see I have never officially introduced me, so here goes. I've been on the site for a while now. And given some insight into me from the blogs I've compiled. I'm a young 35 year old transgender female, who have been on hormones for almost 3 years, but has known that I wasn't who my body thought I should be. I had to wait till I was strong and independent enough from my family to start my transition to whom I've always felt I was. Because my biggest support passed away when I was old enough to start my journey and the overriding factor my mom was the only one to be around. My oldest sister's say wasn't going to help much, so I needed to make my stance in numerous…

I'm a 28 year old trans man living in Tennessee. I've just discovered this site and I'm here in hopes of finding more information on the transgender community. I've been male my entire life but, my anatomy disagrees. I've only recently realized that I'm not the only one who's body doesn't match their gender identity and am searching for as much information as I can to help me on my journey. Perhaps I'll even make some friends along the way. I look forward to meeting the members of this site though, I'm a bit on the shy side. Please feel free to strike up a conversation with me. August

Hello everyone. I'm Sarah, a 47yr old M2F from Essex UK. Here for mutual support and make new friends. I separated from my wife a couple of years ago - mostly because of my gender identity issues. My two teenage kids no nothing about Sarah at the moment. As to 'where' on the 'gender identity scale' I sit is still a matter of some personal debate. I have had gender doubts for over 40 years, but hopefully soon I'll get to see some real professionals to help me sort this out. I'm not full time, but nearly all my time outside of work and family is dressed female. It's how I feel most comfortable, calm and 'together' I'm on Twitter as @SarahReed2004 Look …

Like in the title, my name is Ashley and I identify as a pansexual pre-op transgender Wiccan man who was in a bit of denial for the first 24 years of my life. Well not quite denial until I was in fourth grade. Up until that point, I just thought of myself as different but a normal kid nonetheless. My earliest memories of my childhood was the continuous shunning of dresses, dolls, tea sets and tea parties for playing with the boys in the neighborhood, playing on my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle big wheel, and always wearing little boy's clothing. Then around fourth grade, I started to realize I was attracted to both boys and girls and started making myself feel guilt…

Hi, My name is Julie and I'm a postop, MTF transwoman, age 61 although I thankfully don't look it. I've been living as a woman for over 13 years now but just moved back home to Huntsville AL. I started my transition here and lost my job about a year after coming out so I was forced to move for a job I found in Charlotte NC. The move was great, although I moved away leaving my family and my 3 adult children whom I raised alone for many years behind. It was a hard adjustment to be without them and without my role as a parent. But the job was great and I blossomed and even got all of my surgeries and began dating. After many years of struggling thru my transition to rea…

I am someone who has been hiding inside someone who I am not for years now and I am getting more worried that the real woman inside will never be able to get out. I really need someone who can see my problem without judgement and help me to that journey that will let the woman inside of me bloom and become real. I suffer from trying to go out in public as who I know who I am for fear of being found out so I do not get to do it that often and would like to get to do it more often with the right person helping me to gain the confidence of being out in public as a woman and not be caught as the other person. If there is anyone who could understand this and possibly help it w…

My name is Karen, a stay home mom to 4 beautiful yet challenging children some with deeper special needs than the other. We adopted our family from the State being foster/adopt home. Adam was 1st to come into our family finalizing adoption when was little over 2yrs. We had him since was 13mths. Once able to walk steadily & a foster daughter came it was game on to try to wear the clothes, shoes, hair stuff we had set aside since she was a newborn. We didn't discourage him & let him express himself. It was really cute till it didn't stop & we saw how different he was from other boys. That point we accepted everything, never shamed him & waited to see …
