I’m going to make this as short and sweet as I can. Is anyone else afraid for their lives or the lives of those they love? In today’s political climate, things have gotten so out of control that I’m worried about what I, or more importantly Adrianne could face when we’re out. I can handle myself well, and travel armed. Adrianne doesn’t arm herself in any way. But transgender people, and those who support them, are under fire today. I’m not so much worried about myself. If something happens to me, it happens. If something happens to Adrianne, the world be set ablaze. I would never forgive myself if anything happened to her. I can’t lock her up or anything like that. I…

If there were a country you could go to where even the most masculine-looking man can live as a woman, and even the most feminine-looking woman can live as a man, and they could be accepted in their desired gender and everything without changing their bodies, would you choose to go instead of transitioning? (If you have transitioned, would you have chosen to go to that country if you could avoid transitioning by doing so?)

Yesterday, I received a phone call and the caller thought I was my mom. After Annie mentioned guys mocking her "head voice" in the thread about people thinking we're gay, I thought I'd post it here. This happens to me all the time over the phone (very, very rarely in person). They think I'm my mom, or if they don't know me or her, they call me "ma'am." I guess I sound like an older woman to them. This is only strange if you know that I make absolutely no effort to sound more feminine when I speak. In fact, around guys, I make a conscious effort to sound more masculine. Has this ever happened to any of you?

My wife thinks she can sex in straight. We don't have an outragious sexlife but it has always been good. I'm 42 and she is 30. I have been with alot of women and it hasn't changed my mind one bit. As a matter of fact it only solidified my decision to transition. When I see a woman naked I want to be the same as her. When I watch them get dressed and put on make up I want to do the same. When I am making love to my wife I can't stop thinking that I should be the girl. My dreams are of me as a woman and when I wake up I am sad. I've never read or watched porn where I didn't identify with the girl. When we go clothes shopping for her I always choose clothes that I eventua…

I seriously need to get this out because its driving me nuts. My brother loves to nitpick about everything. He does it to everyone in the house. He also loves to threaten. He knows i need his car to get him and I both to work. Well he gets a bug up his rear and right away he starts crap with me. I could just be sitting there minding my own business, and he'll start shit. His latest thing is my license. No I dont have one but he claims i should have a long time ago. I said its alittle hard to do when you noone is willing to allow you the use of their car to do so. Hes like thats not an excuse, i gave you a car, all you had to do was fix it. I said why fix the car when you …

Rev. Susan Russell, 06/29/2012 7:54 pm "And one of those was my wife. Now, I have a hard-and-fast rule to never blog about my wife, but this blog is going to be the exception that proves the rule. A long-time activist, journalist, documentarian, and media consultant, Louise was convinced that gay, lesbian, and bisexual equality was a hard enough row to hoe without adding the "T" into the mix. "Let's fight one battle at a time" pretty much summed up her position -- that is, until the 2009 General Convention and the powerful witness of the transgender folk who so courageously shared their stories, their experience, their journeys, and their reality with her. She left Anahe…

Hello, I apologize if the views and questions I have is offensive to anyone, but I don't have anyone in my world to answer these types of questions and I want to understand better to hopefully tweak some of my viewpoints. If something I say is off-putting please let me know and why because it is not intentional. I have always believed that everyone deserves to live their life the way they want, if it makes you happy and doesn't hurt others who cares if someone doesn't agree/understand it. If I know someone uses different pronouns than I try to make sure to use what makes them feel comfortable. I always felt like that was enough. Now, I want to work on that becau…

I don't want this to be a downer topic, but honestly, how likely is it a MtF will find a good man or woman after transitioning? I haven't a clue so am wondering what other's observations on this subject might indicate. From my own personal experience, within the gay community it is very hard to find a good, faithful, stable, employed, sane, loveable guy. Since the trans community is smaller I am guessing the odds are slimmer? MIWBJ

I am presently reading Peggy Rudd's book My Husband Wears My Clothes. My spouse is reading it also. I have also been thoughful of my spouse's feelings about my dressing. The book reminds me that others are affected by what I do. Conversely, her attitude towards crossdressing and transgender affect the both of us. She is asking quesions again which I always welcome. I feel this time the questioning will go deeper than in previous times. She's still trying to wrap her mind around a male wearing women's clothing. What I like about Rudd's book is that it takes crossdressing from the spouse's perspective. My spous revealed to me that when she found out that I crossdress she…

Adrianne and I are planning a cruise for fall 2022 assuming COVID-19 is dealt with. I know that in Brazil at the moment, killing a transgender person is more or less considered a public service. On the cruise we’re looking at it would take us through the Panamá Canal with a stop in Cartagena Colombia. My understanding is that the attitude isn’t much different in Colombia than it is in Brazil. So I’m asking if anyone knows if it would be smart for me to even show my face on the ship, let alone disembark for some time in the country. And if I did disembark, should I be in fear for my life, and more importantly, Adrianne’s life?

NAZI ANTI-JEWISH SPEECH VS. RELIGIOUS RIGHT ANTI-GAY SPEECH: Are They Similar? Jews Control Everything Gays Control Everything Jews 1% of population: control politics, world opinion, NYC, & have lots of money "At the beginning of the twentieth century, the Jews sit at the junction of the world financial markets. They are an international power. Although only one per cent of the world's population, with the help of their capital, they terrorize the world stock exchanges, world opinion, and world politics. New York is today the center of Jewish power." - Nazi propaganda film, "The Eternal Jew," http://www.holocaust-history.org/der-ewige-jude/stills.s…

I'm sure most of the girls here know what it's like to want to have a baby of their own but be unable, so I thought I'd ask here. A few members here, in response to the news of pregnant man, have expressed the desire to be pregnant, give birth, breastfeed, and raise children as a mother. However, we all know this is impossible. Even adopting is out of the question for many transsexuals, thanks to nonexistent antidiscrimination laws. I would love to be a mother, but there are many reasons, only some of which have to do with being stuck in a male body, that I have chosen not to have children. (For one, I wouldn't inflict the curse of being my kid on anyone. ) But…

Something keeps going thru my head, its what Annie said: "Sex is between your legs, Gender is between your ears" And I figured out something...MtF TGs are Male in Sex, but Female in Gender, so since I would gladly date an MtF as much as I'd date a bio-female, that makes me bisexual, but since I'm going on the gender, being female, I am straight, or heterogender? (If that is a word). Summed up, I'm Bisexual, yet Heterogender? What are your thoughts on it Ladies, and Gentlemen?

The news is slowly leaking out about SRS and Medicare. SRS can be performed with the help of Medicare. However, All states and All doctors are not accepting Medicare. Some doctors that are performing SRS with Medicare are considering their position. Medicare are not paying those Doctors that are currently performing SRS enough money to cover the Doctors skills and giving them a wage for doing this procedure. It will be great that the trans community promote those doctors and encourage them to continue to accept Medicare to provide SRS . The trans community should promotes those doctor that do SRS and encourage them to continue to perform SRS and offer them money to encou…

Hi! I'm new here, and I've recently been searching the internet high and low for information on Female to Male Transitioning for my love. My love, R, has been my girlfriend for about 2 years now. I love her so much, and sense we have an honest relationship, R has just told me that she feels like she's in the wrong body. (sorry if I'm messing up pronouns) Truth be told, she is my first relationship at all, and so coming to terms with liking the same gender proved a difficult task, but only in the way that telling my parents was a nightmare. Now it's R's turn to tell her parents, not just about being in love with me, a girl, but about wanting to transition into a male. The …

First, I want to say, that I am so thankful to God for giving me this opportunity for the great relationship i am now having with my Dad. Wanted to write this for those that , right now, maybe parents are not being accepting. Things were'nt always this great. My Dad, for years, refused to accept me....of having anything to do with me at all. I had many therapists tell me to let my family go. But, that's just not me. Family is family. It took alot of hard times, alot of biting my tongue and being humble, and alot of perserverence. Not giving in or giving up. Tough to do, but I am finding the years of fighting are now worth it. I now have this great relationsh…
