While we try to insure that the content here on TGG is kept at least at a PG level, on occasion a video is posted that might contain a word or two of strong language. Members have done well to include a warning with the videos they post if they catch an objectionable word or two. On occasion, moderators will edit a post to add such a warning if necessary. Be advised, however, that occasionally, links to other videos that appear at the conclusion of a posted video, sometimes are to videos which do have content that may not be suitable for all listeners/viewers, and such links should be followed only at the listener's/viewer's discretion. -Michael

I'm not sure what has brought this article to the forefront considering it is from March 2012 - perhaps it is because there has been a recent comment posted. I thought maybe there had been an update, but I saw none. However, I don't recall ever seeing this article before, and thought that it might be of interest to others who may not have seen it. -Mike Posted: 03/19/2012 3:16 pm Updated: 03/19/2012 3:21 pm Greeting card verse: Jack and Jill, Went up the hill, So Jack could see Jill's fanny. I wasn't sure where this one belonged, but since some have tried to blame it on transgenders, I thought it should be posted.

One more reason to be wary of social networking - Mike What you 'like' on Facebook can reveal more about you than you might like, including your race, religion, and sexuality 12 March 2013 | By Joe Morgan " Using the algorithms, published in the journal PNAS, proved 88% accurate for determining if a man was gay or not." --gaystarnews.com Facebook 'likes' can out you as gay

Scott Newman | January 04, 2018 - 4:05 AM ET ...The problem impacts processors going back more than two decades and could let hackers access passwords, encryption keys or sensitive information open in applications," -- npr.org Intel Acknowledges Chip-Level Security Vulnerability In Processors _____________________________________________________ I first heard about this this evening on the NBC Nightly News. This article seems to mention by name only computers and smartphones. But news on TV seemed to indicate that basically ANYthing that has a processor is vulnerable - computers (both lap- and desktops), tablets, smart phones, etc., regardless of brand. I would think …

I saw this online several years ago and saved it. I think there are several people here who may like it, but be prepared to shed a tear or two. **************************** 1,000 Marbles "A Little Something about Precious Time" Written by Jeffrey Davis © 1999 All Rights Reserved Reprinted with Permission by LandOfMarbles.com "The older I get, the more I enjoy Saturday mornings. Perhaps it's the quiet solitude that comes with being the first to rise, or maybe it's the unbounded joy of not having to be at work. Either way, the first few hours of a Saturday morning …

It's a fairly simple game. You post 3 claims about yourself. 2 of which are true, 1 is a lie. The next poster has to guess which one is the lie. There ae obviously no prizes, but it's fun to see how creative people can get, and it's also a fun way to get to know each other better. I'll start. 1) I collect skulls 2) I'm scared to death of my wife's macaw. 3) I wear a $200 watch. Can you guess which one is the lie? What will your claims be? Lets have some fun!!!

What resolutions, if any, have you made for 2013? Personally...I've not really made any. Least ways, none I've definitely committed to. I have this knack of absently thinking about things in the back of my mind...things I want to do. But, it's like I leave it open for various possibilites. Sorta like a [horror] movie that, toward the end, it appears that everything is resolved and the creatures have all been killed. But while everyone walks off into the sunset, a creepy kinda music builds, and you wonder.... Interesting reading: History of New Year's Resolutions New Year's Resolution

If you check out my profile you'll see that I have uploaded 3 or 4 albums of memes and cartoons. Just stuff for a laugh. But I also have a lot on my computer that I'm sure would cause me a lot of trouble, possibly even a ban if I uploaded them here. So my question is this: If I upload them to my website would anyone be interested? I would give you the link through a PM, and that would keep it off this site, but still be accessible to members. I'm asking the staff because I don't know if that is something they would be ok with doing. Obviously I can do what I want with my own site, but giving a link to possibly controversial or even offensive material could be a problem. …

Nothing can ever replace a loved one. We know that. But we have also heard many times that when you lose a pet, getting another one can help you through. Adrianne wanted me to ask what everyone here thinks. Should we get another puppy? She's worried about the other dogs not liking the pup. She doesn't want to stress them out. But we know that adding another member to the family can be healthy.

So with all the budget cuts, the cuts that only affect people that really need the help, well after being at my Dad's today, I am ticked. My Dad used to have this great nurse that took care of all his meds. Due to budget cuts, all the competent people at the VA have been re-positioned, and all the idiots are taking over. In checking my Dad's pill boxes, this person that is supposed to know what they are doing had screwed them all up. Double doses of this...zero doses of that. And, for the past 2-3 days my dad had told me he wasn't feeling well. Could not eat. Etc. Now I know why. To think this is how the US treats their veterans. Party on at the White House!

I heard this on _Good_Morning_America_ Friday, 9 May 2014. I wasn't paying full attention until some of these lyrics caught my ear, then my heart and now my mind. Although it's labeled "official" there are some mistakes in the text. There are links to other videos, etc. Perhaps some of them are real. So, I'm sharing this video:

I found the following in a radio station blog I like to read and I had to share it with you. This ad was placed in the Personal column of a newspaper. To the Guy Who Tried to Mug Me in Downtown Savannah night before last. Dated: 05-27-09, 1:43 AM EST I was the guy wearing the black Burberry jacket that you demanded that I hand over, shortly after you pulled the knife on my girlfriend, threatening our lives and me. You also asked for my girlfriend's purse and earrings. I can only hope that you somehow come across this rather important message. First, I'd like to apologize for your embarassment when I drew my pistol after you took my jacket. The evening …

I will be absent from the forum for an extended period. My baby Gypsy died tonight. My mind has mostly shut off and I can barely think. I can barely even breathe. I don’t know when I’ll be back, but I will eventually return at some point.

Dan Avery, Oct 12, 2012 Members of Justin’s Gift were told in a letter signed by parade chair Elizabeth McFarland that there were no spots left in the October 27 event: “At this time we are unable to accept your application for the parade. “We have reached our maximum for walking units.” But as MPR News uncovered, the application for the parade license wasn’t submitted until October 1o, more than two weeks after Justin’s Gift was told the parade was full. The form estimates about 31,000 people with 250 parade units will be participating. -queerty.com Anoka Halloween Parade’s Denial Of LGBT Youth Group Doesn’t Add Up

Well, Saturday I did it again. I got another addition to my household family. I brought home a hedgehog. The spikey little fart is still really skittish. Being in a completely new situation and all. So to count down it’s 4 dogs, 3 rats, 2 birds, and 1 hedgehog. What’s next? Koi fish and a herd of goats? We’re one camel away from being able to charge admission. We apparently have a donkey. Adrianne tells me every day something about me and an “ass”.🤨

My wife sent me this link earlier. If you go there you can check the status and it will give you an estimated date on when you will receive yours. She got the date on hers, but for me it said Payment Status Not Available. But I also don't file taxes due to my disability status. Either way it's worth a peek to get an idea when your checks are coming. https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment
