Yer bigotry, ignorance, intolerance and hatred must really run deep if you've just now noticed the colours of the NBC peacock, thinking they've just recently appeared in support of the TGLB community! The stupidity is almost hilarious... -Mike 28 June 2015 | Jack Flanagan "A Facebook user Don Stair was evidently tired with brands lining up to support the LGBTI community: so he posted on KARK 4 News - NBC’s Arkansas news station - telling them they should be ashamed." --gaystarnews.com One viewer thought NBC had changed its logo to support 'the gays'

I just wanted to share a general observation if I may. Is there any better feeling than freshly shaved legs? I absolutely love the way mine feel. Thankfully, I was blessed with very little body hair. I only need to shave mine maybe once a month. My knees have to be shaven more often. I don't necessarily love shaving them but love the way they feel afterwards. Just my observation. Have a great day! Kayla

I want to get a lot of opinions on this. How does everyone feel about slurs, if it's from two people who are the same? For example if you have read The Outsiders there's a part where Ponyboy mentions that one greaser calling another one a Greaser is being playful. So how does everyone feel about more controversial slurs? If two gay men call each other the F word, is that ok? If two transgender people call each other tranny, is that ok? Also I'm curious about racial slurs. I can count the number of people in my life that matter on one hand, and I get a laugh if they call me a cracker. Anyone else and you're got a violent fight on your hands. Honky on the other hand, I don'…

Sometimes I read the news and I just get angry. Some recent research into a news matter led me to the EqualityMatters.com web site. Did you know that 18 states still criminalize consensual sexual activity between same-sex partners? At least 12 of these states make such activity a felony offense. It is absolutely unacceptable that some state laws continue to target our people who have done nothing wrong. Oddly, I see Massachusetts on the list. I've thought of them as a progressive state, but they still haven't removed their law from the books, and they had one of the stiffest penalties for homosexual activity. Source: State Sodomy Laws Continue to Target LGBT Americ…

Does anyone know if there’s some kind of bug going around? I caught something last night and haven’t been this sick in forever. I’ll spare you the details, but needless to say, there’s a bug butt that needs some stomping.

Not sure if any of you have ever done a search of the number one song when you graduated high school? I just did...and the number one song back then was John Denver, "Thank God I'm a country boy." How prophetic!

As most of you know, I have been helping out my Dad for a while now. I finally realize you can't help someone that refuses to help themselves. For a while my dad has been saying he needs more care. I asked him if he would allow me to look into assisted living. he said no. at the same time, he keeps telling all his nurses, doctors and social workers from the VA that he needs 24/7 care. I finally put it on the table today. Told him if he needs 24/7 care I will look into assisted living if he wants me too. Otherwise he can just keep playing the game he is playing and he will find himself in a place he does not want to be. A nursing home. And once the VA steps In, …

I use this page a lot when I'm typing in other languages, mainly Spanish, to some family. She is helping me learn Spanish, and I want my grammar and punctuation to be correct. I don't know if it would be of any use to anyone else here, but I figured I would post the link anyway. https://tools.oratory.com/altcodes.html

The Movie , The Spider Mites of Jesus opened last night in Richmond Virginia to an invited audience . Produced by Jerry Williams and Ray Bentley , This movie examines the twisted , sorted life of Donnie Corker , aka Dirt Woman . Every city has such a colorful person in the LGBT community . Richmond and Roanoke Virginia had Donnie . Donnie passed away in his sleep due to cancer and heart failure . There will never be anyone , at least in Richmond that can or would replace him . I can say he really was a hero to me because back in 1973 , between he and Christine Jorgensen , these two unlikely characters showed me it was possible to transition to the woman I am and thank God…

And to be totally honest, this good friend is my ex. We have always had a great relationship and now, a great friendship. I truly hope him and his family are safe.

I'm considering getting a tarantula. My question is, has anyone here had a tarantula? What species did you have? How was its temperament? Was it comfortable being handled? What was its habitat setup? Pretty much anything you can tell me. Also my biggest question, is what species you would recommend for a first timer. I've been reading at http://www.tomsbigspiders.com and there's a great list of suitable species for beginners. There's a few I like, but I want to see what those that have had them have to say. I had a scorpion when I was a teenager, and know how to handle them. But even though they are both arachnids, that's like comparing a dog and a bird. So any advic…

This is a game that I have been waiting for, for a while now. It's scheduled for a release sometime this summer, but no official release date has been revealed yet. I'm posting because it's main character that you play as is transgender, and it implements a lot of the issues we face as the LGBTQ+ community. I have been waiting on the edge of my seat for it. It's going to be released in several episodes, but I can't wait to get it as soon as it's out. Here's a few links about it, including one that is just an entire page about only the game, even though there's not a whole lot there. https://www.radiotimes.com/technology/2020-04-05/tell-me-why-release-date/ https…

Some day I'll tell you my story about my Russian Wet Sauna in Siberia. Also in the humorous section ...

This time of year, the holidays for those who are isolated or alone can be very difficult. For those, like us, a part of the LGBTQ+ community and often shunned by family and friend alike, Thanksgiving and Christmas can be even tougher. And now, the world being in he grips of a pandemic, so many have been isolated just for being human and therefore vulnerable to a disease that doesn't give a whit whether you are alone, gay, black, elderly or Superman. For all our members in the U.S., I hope everyone is able to find some small way to enjoy this Thanksgiving. I hope that you can reach out to friends and family - virtually, of course, or by phone or email. Send som…

Something popped into my head. This is just a semi-goofy question but I'm gonna ask it anyway. If there's someone you don't get along with on a forum somewhere, the best course of action is to block them, right? You won't be in each others faces and the fights usually stop. But what if there's a person you don't get along with at a forum that is a staff member? Like a moderator or administrator? You're fine with all the rest of the staff, but that one just rubs you the wrong way. Do you block them? Can you block them? Can they override your block? I don't have any problems with any of the staff myself, but I have blocked one person who's just a regular member the same as …

I just enjoyed my favorite part of the day again. A nice hot shower before bed. There’s lots of things I enjoy, but nothing I look forward to more than my evening shower. I get to sit under the hot water and let the stress of the day melt away. I get to scrape away the sweat and physical signs of stress when I suds up my loofah. There’s just nothing better. I get to feel clean, smooth, soft, and relaxed when I climb between the sheets. I absolutely love a hot shower.

It Is with sadness, that I have watched the BBC News Channel, and seen the News of the Death of Sir Terry Wogan, from Cancer. R.I.P. Sir Terry Wigan. I had to share this... For all of us who've had a *canine family member, this will be no surprise - entertaining - but no surprise. This vid makes me laugh everytime I see it. For all of you who've never had a canine family member, this video should cause you to question the experts who claim dogs respond only to emotion, the sound of your voice and body language, and not actual words or sentences, or understand certain situations. Enjoy! -Mike http://www.youtube.c...h?v=_kLdO3EsECs *Canine family member = a dog who lives in the house with the family, not the poor dog that's relegated to a doghouse in the back yard and only sees any of the family when they brin…

I work nights. So at 10 pm last night I was outside having my morning coffee. And where I live, the sky was so clear that the stars were amazing. I even saw something that I have only seen once before. An exploding star. So, when I got my head out of the stars, I looked down, and standing about 4 feet away is a skunk. Kind of looking at me as if to say, "what are you staring at?" Knowing skunks do not have great eye sight, I stood up and told him, " Hey buddy, not so close." He took off and made for the back lawn. Oh the hazards of a bright sky.

No one can explain what the "gay agenda" is, but it's pretty obvious what NOM's agenda is. Their nearly-five-minute propaganda video is laced with homophobia, bigotry, ignorance, Jim Crow-like reasoning, lies and manufactured "facts." And the American Foundation for Equal Rights called NOM on each incident.
