My thinking was....as 2012 ends, man i hope 2013 is a good one. But, then, i started thinking about all i have to be thankful for. For all the good things that happpened in my life in 2012. For all the good things that i so often overlook. And, in knowing there are so many hurting people in the world, even in my own community, I realize, i have nothing to complain about. Life happens. Well, it’s come to a point that we can’t come back from. I have no choice but to give up my macaw. His screaming has severely affected my psyche. Last night Adrianne had to drive my wheelchair for me to the bedroom because I was paralyzed in it. Then she had to walk me into the bathroom to take a shower. But that’s not the worst of it. My nerves and mind were hit so hard that I actually had a seizure in the shower. Luckily I have a shower chair, and it’s a relatively small shower stall. So I didn’t get hurt. I'm considering getting a tarantula. My question is, has anyone here had a tarantula? What species did you have? How was its temperament? Was it comfortable being handled? What was its habitat setup? Pretty much anything you can tell me. Also my biggest question, is what species you would recommend for a first timer. I picked up Photoshop yesterday, and I'm looking forward to learning my way around it. I've never used it before, so I don't have a clue what I'm doing. So I was wondering if anyone here has used it and can give me a few tips on it that may make my learning experience a bit easier to get me up to where I know what I'm doing, without potentially screwing something up.

I've been feeling like hell for the past week and a half. I took a covid test just now and it was positive. So we're going to be in quarantine for the next two weeks while I get past this. It sucks hose water, but there's not much I can do about it. I got the vaccine and the boosters, so there's that upside. But nothing is foolproof. So I'm going to be resting for the most part of the next few weeks. I had a feeling I was going to catch it at some point, I just didn't know when. I'll try to dip in and out and keep up with things here. But I don't know how much of that I'll be able to do.

The Jerry Williams biographical movie on Richmond Virginia's "Dirt woman", aka Donnie Corker has been accepted into the Virginia Film Festival in Charlottesville virginia in November !!!! This is exciting because I am a "Bit player " in the finished production and I knew Donnie personally as I was a cab driver for years and I once worked at the movie theater that his Father owned for awhile . Last night, 3 of my little guys died. My wife cranked up the space heater full blast in the computer room where they were and didn't tell me about it. The heat killed 3 of them. The only one that survived was Money. He's devastated. He was curled up with Spook trying to wake him up. I'm heartbroken. There's going to be a funeral later today for them.

I work nights and bust my butt. There is another janitor that works the same hours and for 4 hours spends her time having breakfast...sleeping in people's offices that are on vacation...etc. And, we get paid the same hourly wage.
