Over the past few weeks I have been presenting in my true female gender pretty much full time. Even when I'm tucked up in bed. I have told my landlord because he is also my neighbour and I didn't want him thinking I was doing something weird. Luckily he was totally cool about it. I have signed up for counseling at my local LGBT centre and for a course of life skills. I am also waiting for an appointment at the Gender Identity Clinic for assessment and hopefully hormones and maybe GRS. I am really getting to hate wearing male clothes for work and also not being honest with my family. I have been advised by the people at the LGBT centre to wait awhile before telli…

Differences in the brain's white matter that clash with a person's genetic sex may hold the key to identifying transsexual people before puberty. Doctors could use this information to make a case for delaying puberty to improve the success of a sex change later. This subject seems rarely discussed within the transgender community and may even be a little taboo, for this reason I will not go into any detail here, however I have provided a link to a study by Dr Anne Lawrence and also a blog. Caution - Content may not be suitable for all readers Dr Anne Lawrence on Transsexualism and Sexuality http://www.annelawre...narratives.html Crossdreamers blog http://www.crossdrea...essions-of.html Note: - I prefer to use the word Crossdreamer as I am not comfortable with the terms of reference coined by Ray Blanchard.

Hi, Every time that I see my therapist she asks me if I have been losing more weight. At this point I don’t think that my weight loss is a big deal. I’ve looked up the Body Mass Index range for a person of my body type and height and I’m still above the minimum suggested weight. She has suggested that I maintain my current weight and I’ve been doing that for a while. I don’t know if this makes any sense, it’s not that I feel guilty about eating, I just feel happy when I don’t eat. I’ve also come to enjoy the “hunger buzz” that I get when I don’t eat. I don’t feel I’m starving myself because I don’t feel all that hungry. Anyway I’ve got this thing going on wit…

Hello my name is Jeff and I’m 30. I recently came to a realization in my life that I might identify as a women but want to seek advise because I am attracted to women and married and don’t want to hurt my wife. My realization came recently when I decided to shave my entire body. It felt liberating and a little more like who I’m meant to be, I’ve been dressing like a women whenever my wife isn’t home panties, dresses, leggings and ,bras when I do this I feel at home but also repulsed at my current body wishing that I looked how I felt in my wife’s clothing. I have moments of being comfortable with myself but always when I am very busy. I never thought about this …

Okay, here's the scoop. All my life I have hated my penis and only wanted a vagina. I have never cross-dressed. My only dream is to have a vagina. I have no great desire to wear dresses or look feminine. But having a vagina is a deep seated desire going back to my pre-teen years. 50 years of life hating your penis every single day, but keeping your feeling hidden under a rock for fear of ridicule and persecution. Only now, bring my feelings to light and dealing with them. In a perfect world, I would have SRS and remain in my male body, I wouldn't have any problem with that. I look in a mirror and cannot picture myself as a woman. I am 6'4 with big hands and…

So my Dysphoria has been really get to getting to me. Probably because I have been trying to fit into the mold everyone else has wanted me to fit into. Not the one I feel I should fit into. In any case it has made me depressed even worse and making me not want to do anything. So last night I decided I have to be me and if anyone else doesn't like it too bad. So I shaved my legs chest and arms. And soaked in a nice warm bath with the candles lit. It was so relaxing. I feel so so so much better now. Its gonna be hard to stay this way for me but I just need to. For me. When you feel like your mind doesn't fit the image of your body then you got to make changes to help with i…

Hi everyone, I just made an appointment for a consultation with an electrologist next Thursday and wanted to throw out a question - she said that it could be a year, with weekly 1-hour sessions, to finish. At this point I'm just planning to get my face done (the rest was removed via laser) - does that time frame sound right? Thanks! Christie

Hi I just turned 18 and I really want to try sex with a tgirl im versatile but I don't know how or where to meet a tgirl and I just want to confirm my sexuality in the most respectful way possible. I've been watchin tgirl porn for 3 years now and I always feel bad after I finish and I don't know if it's just me on a porn tangent or me actually attracted to tgirls. I kept running into escorts but I don't want to meet anyone like that to be honest. Id rather see what it's like and if I like receiving anal penetration as much as I like i watching it this will confirm I just don't want to make any big movements into the community without testing the waters. As a woman sex is very important to me. But I'm unsure how I should approach this. I joined one or two contact sites but the guys were really weird. I'm just looking for a normal boy/girl relationship. I've met one or two guys in the past who were "boyfriend material", in that we had a deep emotional bond, but the time wasn't right, and I wasn't right. So I'm looking here to the more experienced members. How did you find Mr. Right? Or should just give it up as some kind of hopeless dream?

I was sitting down thinking about what to expect for my sex drive after being on hormones for close to a year. Most stuff I read indicated a diminished sex drive and they were right at least for me and if I did not think about it I would had forgotten all about it. Will be interesting to see what I am like one year from now.

Has anyone tried any of the at home hair removal systems? I'm doing research on three, the No-No, Tria and Silk'n SensEpil. Each works differently and all three are FDA approved. So far I've found mixed reviews on each, but the Silk'n SensEpil seems to have the best reviews. Before I go out and drop several hundred dollars, I'd like to know if anyone here has tried any of these at home systems?

If you were sitting in a room with post-op's and/or some that have been 'out' full time and could ask them any question what would it/they be? I was never shy when given the opportunity and one of the best opportunities is finding local groups. Personally the group I found on the East Coast was not close but did go a few times and made it worth while by asking questions.

I went to the therapist today terrified of what it was going to be like but she put at easy as the session went along. She ask if I had a time line to transition an I told her NO. I told her if I had it my way I would get it all done tomorrow if I could but she said that to fast. My question is what is a good time line to get everything done?

Hi fellow Earthlings. To the point. The end (at last) is in sight for me being prescribed hrt. I am sure I will not be alone here by what I now describe. There is a constant battle within me, antagonistic forces which causes me distress. On one side is my aspirational commitment to transition while on the other is the associated guilt of inflicting such change on those I love, especially my wife of 30 years. The question therefore is addressed to those who have shared the conflict. Does hrt calm the turmoil? I realise that it can bring about the ethereal sense of well being so often articulated with difficulty but does it do anything about the torment of guilt? Tha…

Transgender journey: recovering from surgery The Guardian When I got the date for my sex reassignment surgery, I wasn't so worried about the operation itself (I'd be asleep, right?) as its aftermath: how I was going to look after myself during the two months it would take to recover? I called my parents and...

Hi there. Sorry if this sounds like a silly question or if it's in the wrong section of the forum. I am thinking of going to my GP in the hope of being referred to a gender therapist on the NHS. I'm really struggling on how to start the conversation with the doctor. For those who have experience with this before then what did you say to doctor and what did they say back to you? Also what happens in Therapy? Sorry if this sounds pathetic. Amy
