  1. Dear Friends, A friend sent me this and I really enjoyed it, and I think you will, too! https://www.facebook.com/ABCCOMEDY/videos/1623017944417952/ Enjoy! Your friend, Monica

  2. I found this article and it was really enlightening to something I hadn't really thought about before. We all talk about our issues here, but now that I think about it, I can't think of any talk from or about being nonbinary here. If there is anyone who is, and struggles with this, this article could help. If not, it could still help the rest of us.

I read many posts relating to Gender Identity Disorder. And all of a sudden when I was reading a post today containing GID, i wondered, isn't it rather insulting that this is called a 'disorder'? When I hear the word disorder it conjures up things like 'bi-polar', or "panic disorder', or something like that. I think I may bum out if I was considered a disorder. Or maybe it just means that something went wrong somewhere and you are different. But different isnt a disorder, I don't know, maybe i'm thinking about it too much. I will go wash my dog now . -Kim

Most of you can probably identify with how well clothes fit when it is one size fits all. As often as I have been duped into believing this phrase, it continues to catch my attention. I am surprised at how often when I am reading the remarks online that I am drawn to the tempation of the transsexual progressive ladder that has been posted a few times on this site. And I can't help but feel inferior to the person who has gone "all the way" and even made it to being "stealth". Personally I don't want to be envious but sometimes I just can't help myself. On the other hand sometimes what I am reading from those who have completed transition I actually feel very sorr…

Was just thinking about this today. When I was living as the female bodied person I was born, I lived for many years, in and out of the psych ward for suicide attempts. Always having friends and family that were there. Years ago, I started my transition, knowing that for me, it was a matter of life or death. Today, I write, having transitioned to the point where everyone sees me as a man and all my gender markers have been changed. In the process, I lost the friends and family. I am greatful that I can now live my life as me, but I just have a hard time dealing with all the loss. I am at a place where, if I can find the courage, I can restart my life. A place wher…

  6. I simply wanted to start this topic for those who are in the folds of in determinant choice of who or were they fit into the fold of Gender Variance or the trials of what will happen during transition , for those who suffer from Gender Disphoria . I as many of those here Know have transitioned with the Help of those here and a great deal of research and self discovery with the aid of the internet . though it holds a great many things that can aid you in the understanding of alot , it is far from the true nature of the beast which is Transition . I will be here just as the moderators to help you understand alot of the things your going to undergo , those with any for…

  8. There is a smart phone app "Where to pee". Lists known safe restrooms to use when out in the public sector. I have not tried the app yet. Seems like a useful app: http://lexiecannes.w...sgender-people/

Saw my Dad today, and knowing i would'nt see him on Christmas, we did the gift giving today. And, my Dad gave me the best gift. On a Christmas card he gave me, he wrote this one sentence. "I thank God for sending you to me. Love Dad" What greater gift could i ask for.

If you had been born into a society where gender roles are completely reversed from yours, like in that episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, would you still be TG, or would you have fit right in from the beginning? If you're MTF, for example, would you be like the women of that society (i.e. like men in your culture) or like the women of our society?

Do you think that you are truelly in need of hormones to change you into a woman or a man, does this concept control you in some sort of way good bad indifrent maybe...I am only courious as to why the thought of hormones can cure our ills they dont change us in a drastic way they wont mirakulously change us over night into the woman ( or man ) we know we are to be so what is it about them that makes our minds turn to them in such a fasion? I know that hormones can aid in the process, I know that they also help in some developmental aspects of the transition, but the why bothers me, why must I turn to them, or must I even turn to them at all. I know the answer to this q…

Forgive me if you have already talked about this. I was watching 60 minutes last week, and it was about what they called "extreme gender nonconformity". It was the story of identical twin boys, one of which was obviously not interested in traditional male things, such as boy toys, sports, etc. It was to the extreme. One of the boys had a typical 'boy' room, and the other twin had pink walls, dolls, stuffed animals and the mother was fine with this. they mentioned a statistic that when this occurs, from birth, it is almost without exception that the one who is displaying the extreme nonconformance will be gay. Now the story was really about the fact that identical tw…

  16. Hi everyone! It is my pleasure to announce the initiation of taking harmones in order to go to the next stage in my life. After living 4 years on and off as cis women, I have finally decided to go for breasts development or via harmones. I have over in past 2 years meet real transgenders like me but with using harmones and to see their breasts development. I honestly wasn't that impressed as in my head the bay watch models and huge breasts come to mind? But those are perky, apple or oranges well I thought to let you know harmones don't get those types! So the need for surgery is required at all cost for "perky" breasts to say minimum. And my final question is down t…

  17. Started by Bonnie,

Here's a list that I have with a short summary for each. A couple are not exactly TG but about waking up/reincarnated and being in the opposite gender's body, something most of us have dreamed about. Bonnie Switch (1991) : A sexist, chauvinist pig gets his just desserts when his angry ex-girlfriends murder him and he is reincarnated as a woman. Just Like a Woman (1992) : Gerald is a yuppie-like transvestite in his thirties. His wife arrives home earlier than expected and discovers female attire spread over their apartment. Not knowing anything about his habit, she misinterprets this and throws him (and the attire) out of their home and marriage. He rents a ro…

Hi everyone, my name's Claire Bailey, and I have been living as a woman for six years now, am 33, took me a long time to get the courage up to be the real me. Have often wondered why so many of us are given the wrong body, it's one of the most upsetting and hardest things to live with, I mean, being round some ones house you don't like for half an hour is a stress, but living inside a body you disgust is the hardest thing ever! Gosh, I spent 26 years waking up and saying to myself, god I wish i was a woman, and if I cant be, ill die trying It's pretty crazy when you think about it, most people don't understand, they cant, how could they? When I was five, I woke…

I am early in my transition and have a question about growing my hair out. It is getting to the point where it is not long enough to do anything with but long enough to look scruffy. Is there something I can use on it to keep it less messy while it grows out.

I just came across this YouTube video and I agree with the guy to a point. He is using just the one case to make his point which I agree with but just in this case and not all cases. Let me know what you think? Australian Transgender Athlete BANNED from DESTROYING WOMEN - YouTube I am thinking about women who transition early in life and don't have the body advantage as others might when transitioning later on. In this case she hasn't fully transitioned either. I am not sure why she even wants to compete? How much fun can it be? Are there women her size in the league? Zdeno Chara, 6'9" NHL defenceman (ice hockey), there are players a foot smaller than hi…
