  2. I saw a blog post by a 'traditional Roman Catholic man' the other day and it reminded me of just how much work we need to do. He is so full of hatred. I have linked to the original blog post in my blog. If you have any doubts about his intentions read the posts immediately preceding and succeeding the post I link to... https://daniellaargento.wordpress.com/2015/04/15/a-transgender-parable/

Last night I discussed transgender and Christianity with my bible fellowship group. It was an overwhelming success. There were many questions asked and I was able to answer them to the best of my knowledge. I opened up the discussion defining the many transgender terms. I explained that 'transgender' is an umbrella term for people whose gender identity and/or expression differs from their birth sex. I mentioned that the term may include transsexuals, crossdressers, gender queer, gender non-conforming and other gender-variant people. I had the most questions about transition and Gender Identity Disorder. I explained that transitioning is a complex prcedure that occu…

Coming out is a very personal matter. It's telling the world that this is who I am. I am mindful that my coming out process came several weeks after discovering that I was a crossdresser. When I did accept myself all of the stress in my life dissipated. It took over a week that I had gone over a divide that I never imagined that I would cross. I have concluded that coming out is not a one time event. It's happened to me a number of times. I proceeded from a crossdresser to transgenderist to transgender. At the present time I am experiencing another shift in my identity, moving closer to identifying as fully feminine. This is after a long period of relative calm. Wha…

While out with a transgender friend accompanied a cisgender female, transgender admirer who I must say is gorgeous we started talking about being misgendered. My friend mentioned there were a few times she was misgendered which I would only think she would because of her body structure, something you really can hide if you have decent muscles or inherently masculine bone structure. I reminded my friend of me in regards to being misgendered and her cisgender friend spoke up and said, I could never imagine you being misgendered which is always good to hear. I think part of this is not only facial features and voice which are the two things that are giveaways (and eyebrows a…

  6. There’s something I’ve been thinking about that only confuses me more and more as I think about it. We’re all under fire for being who we are. But when you see news about imposing bans and restrictions, there’s one common theme that sticks out to me. They seem to forget half of the community. Their hate is seemingly directed only at trans women and gay men. I honestly don’t remember anyone mentioning trans men or lesbians. They direct their hate at those of us who were born with a penis. Those born with a uterus are off their radar. Trying to figure out why is like trying to understand the Crimean War. I might as well pull a Stewie Griffin, and build myself…

Hi all.Well i have read many of people's thoughts here and would like to post mine and ask if anyone of you have similar experiences and feelings.I am 24 and have always known i had to be a girl.Since i can remember myself all i wanted was to be able to drees, act, live, breathe and be accepted as a girl. When i was about 3 years old i told my babysitter (believe it or not) that i wanted to look like her daughter who btw was a pretty teenage girl and so she dressed me up made my hairl look really girly and talked to me as one for the rest of the day.No need to say i was in heaven.Even when my parents came home and found out they took it as a joke and we all had a good time-st…

  10. I Have been reading this book by John Maxwell, called, 'Talent is never enough.' If you ever want to read a book that will motivate you to be your best....have confidence in the man or woman you are...this is the book. He has a list in his book that I copied and taped to my frig. Thought I'd share that with all of you. Hope it helps you as much as it is helping me! Don't change just enough to get away from your problems - change enough to solve them. Don't change your circumstances to improve your life - change yourself to improve your circumstances. Don't do the same old things expecting to get different results - get different results by doing something new…

  11. Hi everybody I'm right at the start of my journey. I saw my doctor a couple of weeks ago and told her that I was transsexual - the first person I've told! She referred me for assessment to a gender identity clinic and when I called her secretary today I was told that it will likely take many months to be seen. Does anyone have any information or experience of the time it takes for an initial assessment to take place from point of referral? I guess I should have anticipated some delay (this is our NHS after all) but it's a bit disappointing to have made a commitment to starting down the road to transition only to find there's going to be a long delay before the next st…

Hello to everyone, I've recently come out at trans and have been looking for a place to get answers. I've been on HRT for three and a half months. Today's question is about the breast growth I can expect, currently I'd say I was at a small A cup. My biggest concern at the moment is that they seem to leak on occasion, just like a drip or so every once in a while. Is this normal? Any and all information is appreciated so thanks in advance.

  14. Hello everyone, I'm writing this with a lot of shame, but I'm hoping to find some guidance or just to feel less alone. I'm a 30-year-old man who has been trapped in my own mind for far too long. A big part of my story is isolation and a struggle with self-care. For about 15 years, I've lived in isolation, with no real-life friends, no job, and a deep-seated fear of social situations. This has taken a toll on my body as well. I'm struggling with my relationship with food—I don't know if it's the medication (Sertraline) or the depression itself—and I've gained a significant amount of weight. For context, I weigh about 125 kg (275 lbs) and I'm 1.73 m tall (5'8"). M…

Howdi all, How do your TGism reflect itself in dreams? Have you always dreamt 'in the persona' of your 'brain/true sex'? I tend to be genderless in my dreams anyway, but occasionally I have dreams in which I 'know' I'm a woman, but to be honest, I have more where I'm certainly the extrernal person I am now ... i.e. male.... Actually I drream quite vividly every night, which I'm happy about, though more often than not the details fade within minutes if I don't concentrate my mind on them. Some of my friends claim the 'never dream'... I'm not sure thats true, I read somewhere we all dream but we don't all remember them. I'm grateful I do though. Last n…

How often do you replay these comments in your head? "Don't do this you are bringing shame onto this family" "Don't you care about your wife and children?" "It says right here in the bible, you are an abomination to God" "Take up your cross, suffering is a part of life" "You are bringing so much hurt to your family and friends why are you doing this? "Why don't you just let that part of yourself die so that we can get on with life" "We like you as you are, you will be causing so much trouble for us" "How can you do this to us?" "You are so selfish" "Your self-centeredness is going to destroy your life" "You are killing your career" "Why can't you shake this …

Hi, New to this forum. I am a 25 year old trans man, started testosterone last year and I am doing good as of now. I have decided to take the next step and undergo top surgery procedure. I would like to know if anyone here has undergone this procedure. If so, please share your experience with me. I am super tensed about the whole thing, but excited as well. I am not sure how to prepare for this and how long I’ll have to get rest. How long will I take to recover fully from the procedure and when can I get back to normal life? I really don't know how the whole thing is going to be, so very nervous about it, at the same time, I feel elated as well. …

Hi, I am a transman I am working in a car loan company and started my testosterone last year. I am planning to take the next step and undergo a top surgery procedure to remove my breasts. 19. Hi. I don't know where to post this since I'm new here but here goes. Iv been wearing a bra for about three or four weeks now and it feels weird not wearing one now, like I'm exposed or something. It defiantly got me thinking, because I thought something was at lest somewhat screwy around senior year of high school (2/3 years ago). Since then Iv gone back and forth between non-binary, mtf, or just ... Idk. I tried estrogen but when my folks questioned me about it I got cold feet and stooped. I have always been interested in girls but have never wanted to be the "guy" in a relationship, it just feels weird. Iv even fantasized about being different female characters fr…

I've been outside into the great unknown.... See normally i don't have the guts to venture out in the car when i put women's clothes on.... But last friday i had some problems with my car and eventually it started so i had to go for a drive, i couldn't just put it back where it goes because that would've been worse for it. So, here are some of the photos i took on friday night from my phone, and one from the camera before i went out

So, I shoot a letter off to Some Company to inquire about some parts. I wrote a letter for a few reasons: ....1. I no longer like talking to anyone on the phone - just knowing that I will be "ma'amed" to death can sometimes bring on mild panic attacks. So I only do phone when I have to ....2. I could find no email address for Some Company ....3. I could have filled out one of those "email forms" on Some Company's website, but the page was not secure. Additionally, while they didn't require me to choose a title, they did require a phone number on this [unsecure] web form. Since I felt I was forced to use snail mail, as usual, I used only my initials and last name... …
