P- Ming Calista, we've been dicussing English mining history as well as mining history here in Pennsyvania . While it's not a strong point for me , I at least have a working knowlege of some of the mining here in the States . Actually, I have several interests , including Early Ford history, ( 1932-1953 ). I write technical articles for the National Ford Club magazine . Oh finding a buried story on the Ford family itself is always fun too. I'll start with another one of my interests , building models of American Kitsch archecture : Now it's months away from being completed . Generally, it takes me almost a year to do one of these large dioramas . It's in 1…

May 18th will be the greatest day of my life ever. That is the day I go meet two of the top youtube celebs as they tour with a band that has become my favorite band to listen to. Those of you that have never heard of SMPFilms/DudeLikeHella..I will explain who that is. First look up on youtube for the Mean Kitty Song by SMPFilms(Cory"Mr. Safety" Williams). He is the man who is behind the song that made him an viral hit on youtube because of his cat Sparta. Cory has been a big impact on my life and has kept me from going insane when life was at it's worst. I would watch his videos and feel good knowing that I could relate to whatever he was doing or saying. …

There's a lot of disinformation coming out of Washington about this. But the facts are as obvious as the nose on your face. A woman had stopped on her street. According to the mouthpiece in Washington called Noem, ICE was trying to get their car out of the snow. She is calling the murdered woman a "domestic terrorist". Which is nothing more than deflection as a brain dead monkey can see that the actual terrorists are the ones calling the shots. The woman (Renee Nicole Good) was trying to get home. When she started to move her car, one of the agents saw his opportunity to commit a cold blooded murder and took it. She had pressed her brakes and he opened fire, shooting her …

I wasn't really sure where to put this since it isn't really news, and it doesn't have anything to do with rights and political activism. But it was damn funny (least ways I thought it was), and I had find someplace to put it ~~ Samantha Allen | 04.26.16 2:40 PM ET "In fact, if you oppose transgender rights, you shouldn’t even be spreading AFA’s petition using their recommended #BoycottTarget hashtag because Facebook, Twitter, and Google all aced the CEI. Every minute spent on those social media giants helps them promote LGBT equality, including the T." -- thedailybeast.com All the Things You Can No Longer Buy if You’re Really Boycotting Trans-Friendly Businesses

The US is one of only 3 countries in the world that still uses the imperial system. The other two being Myanmar and Liberia. In 1975 President Ford tried to switch the US to using the metric system, but it didn't take. I personally can't follow metric very well, but like many of you it's simply because I grew up under the imperial system. But my reason for this post, is I want to know what people think on whether or not the US should again try to switch to metric? I feel like it's time to join the rest of the world. 3 countries out of how many hundreds of countries? I think it would make international trade much simpler, and could help American economies in a substantial …

There's a channel I subscribed to this past week, that I think everyone needs to start watching. It's not a transgender channel. The channel is Mr Nightmare. He's not a creepypasta channel or anything like that. The videos he makes are creepy but they're different. They are true stories of things people have experienced in all different situations. Things from delivering pizzas, to Instagram, to road trips, to staying in and watching Netflix. The reason I think people need to see his channel is to use it as a warning of what could happen in what you do in your everyday life. Things you take for granted could turn deadly in an instant. Things that don't even enter our mind…

I don't know where else to put this post on the forms, the site doesn't have "General Discussion" as a form category, anyway I'm just a little concern about the inactivity of posting within our community. I have a lot of things to post about.

I'm watching the nightly news at the moment. They just showed a story about an infant, who was only a few months old, that died after being left in a daycare van for several hours. I'm at a complete loss about what to even say here. The language I want to use would make the people of Pompeii have their ears bleed. I've never been a fan of people, but you do not harm a child. And if you do, you deserve things that I can't say here. Let's just say that inmates have it right in their treatment of you. May the Gods take the child into their palace.

Same ol saying’s 52 years ago: ‘I’ll tell you one thing, if things keep going the way they are, it’s going to be impossible to buy a week’s groceries for $20.’ ‘Have you seen the new cars coming out next year? It won’t be long before $2000 will only buy a used one.’ ‘If cigarettes keep going up in price, I’m going to quit. A quarter a pack is ridiculous.’ ‘Did you hear the post office is thinking about charging a dime just to mail a letter?’ ‘If they raise the minimum wage to $1, nobody will be able to hire outside help at the store.’ ‘When I first started driving, who would have thought gas would someday cost 29 cents a gallon. Guess we’d be better of…

Certainly much more "Off-Topic" than "Humorous" is this story that was published in the Huffington Post. Interracial Couple Banned From Kentucky Church The pastor Melvin Thompson "proposed that the church go on record saying that while all people were welcome to attend public worship services there, the church did not condone interracial marriage... His proposal, which was accepted by a 9-6 vote last week, also suggested that married interracial couples be prohibited from becoming members and used in worship activities, except for funerals." Read the article: Interracial Couple Banned From Kentucky Church Well, thank God they can at least participate in fune…

Anti-gay German mayor loses seat to gay candidate Sven Gerich, of the pro-same-sex marriage party Social Democratic Party, won with a small majority of 50.8% 11 March 2013 | By Joe Morgan " An anti-gay German mayor has lost his seat to openly gay candidate Sven Gerich, of the Social Democratic Party (SPD)." Jessica came to Ellen's rescue over the week end of August 1st in Richmond Virginia . This was long planned as Jessica realized Ellen was trying to move and consolidate a 5 bedroom home into a 21 foot rental truck !!!! What she saw was an abyss . Yes, Ellen HAD already stacked a living room, 12 X 18 to the ceiling by herself in a mere week an a half upon her return from Bend Oregon . Still , working 12 hour days by one's self is daunting ! The mission is clear and I chose to accept the challenge . I'm returning to live out my final days in Bend Oregon and damn the Torpedoes , Banker's and naysayer's , period !!!!I still feel as though my trip out to Bend was indeed …

Captain Bravo Long ago lived a seaman named Captain Bravo. He was a manly man’s man who showed no fear in facing his enemies. One day, while sailing the seven seas, a lookout spotted a pirate ship and the crew became frantic. Captain Bravo bellowed, “Bring me my red shirt.” The First Mate quickly retrieved the Captain’s red shirt and, while wearing the bright frock, he led his mates into battle and defeated the pirates. Later on, the lookout spotted not one, but two pirate ships. The captain again howled for his red shirt and once again vanquished the pirates. That evening, all the men sat around on the deck recounting the day’s triumphs and one of the them asked …

Given the extreme temperatures we have had this winter, be sure to keep a check on the air in your tires. The extreme changes and cold can cause your tires to lose air. Just a reminder to all my friends here.

So I have a lot of vacation time coming to me. I am hoping to take that time in November. Just keeping my fingers crossed that my old dinosaur passes inspection. No big output of cash. If that happens, I can take a week, have my long distance girlfriend (who is mtf), come down, and show her a good time. I am remaining hopeful. I do believe she is my soul mate. It would be great to spend time with her. Finger crossing time!

I'm looking to compile as many stories of encounters with La Llorona as I can. Actual encounters with her. Not movies or TV shows. So, I'm asking has anyone here seen or heard her? Do you know someone who has? If so get in touch with me.

Why would she do this you ask? Because Lyin' Boebert is more concerned with protecting guns than she is children. She's lower than a snakes belly in a wagon rut. I know it's not LGBTQ+ related, but I still felt this is something needed to be seen by everyone. There is brief strong language in the video, which is why I wanted to share the link instead of embed it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsGczbMkTmA

And telephone calls too... Just Getting It Off My Chest Dept. This morning sitting in our neighborhood coffee shop enjoying (what else?) my coffee and catching up on news of the day, when a man at a nearby table says into his laptop, "Okay, can you hear me okay?" Sure, yes, I heard him Just Fine. Thankfully a woman nearby turned to me and rolled her eyes. She encouraged me to say something with "I can't stand this either, would you mind telling him?" I stood and told him that I didn't come here to listen to conference calls. Oh, but he didn't hear me because of his Bose noise-canceling ear buds. Eventually I got through and we proceeded to have the quick discuss…
