I had an appointment with a urologist on the 25th of last month to talk about the possibility of getting an orchiectomy. We discussed it a bit, and he fully approved it! So I'm waiting to hear back about when to get it scheduled. It should happen before the end of the year. I'm so excited I can barely keep my head together. The procedure is a lot like getting a vasectomy. I had a vasectomy in 2013. For those that don't know, with a vasectomy they make a small incision in the scrotum and remove a piece of the vas deferens which is the tube that carries sperm to the urethra during ejaculation. Then they stitch you up and send you on your way. It's an outpatient procedure th…

I was reading an article online and it was basically saying that. Men who have GID and suppress it, are often violent, take extreme risks with their lives, and may even have OCD and other controlling behaviours. I will try and find this article, but I found it interesting because I had most if not all of these behaviours listed.

I am getting ready for full time test in general public and among family I am facing harder questions then I thought before. My mother used to read me a story about and ugly duckling that eventually becomes a beautiful swan. No matter how I look at it, As of now, my reality is that I am a better looking male than I am a female. I felt ugly in my first puberty and now I feel ugly in the second puberty. Please tell me there is hope. I am sure completing electrolysis will be a major positive change but will hormones do much more for the face beyond electrolysis. Even though I am a transsexual I keep asking myself why I want to change my body because most people …

My Partner recently made a trip home to see family (we’re from the same home town), I chose (sadly) not to go as my relationship with some of my family (especially my Dad) is strained at best ... less then a week after my partner returned, I spoke to Dad ... it’s been over 10 months since we last spoke (almost 2yrs since I came out). I cried ... after all the things I thought I’d say or wanted to say none of it came to mind at the time. I called to speak with Mom but for some reason he decided to answer it, they have caller I.D. and he’d stopped answering when I call and just hand the phone to Mom. Yesterday, I heard the gruff “Hello”. 1st I froze ... I have to stop to t…

"Back in the early 1990s, Chris Gary Bruce competed in male bodybuilding contests. He was good, but only up to a point... Bruce, a 42-year-old personal trainer living in San Diego, will get another chance to go for the gold on Oct. 29 at the Border States Classic Bodybuilding competition -- but this time, it will be as Chris Tina Bruce, and she will be competing as a woman." I have been struggling with myself for some months now, part of me wants to "come out" and become known, while another part feels my life will be over if i do!! I am trying so hard to find a balance, one where I can acknowledge what I really am "A femanine man" and on the other hand, I want to throw it all away and "Get a grip", before it destroys me !! I want to be free !! though I know the only way is to open up, let some of my defences down and Love life I think I need to relax and stop being afraid of what the world, probably already knows.. Keep up the great work people. you are all so cool. Rachel xxx

Jessica mentioned on one of her videos that she used to sing all the time as a male and now she doesn't sing anymore. Why is that? What would be the reason for giving up singing in mtF transition? The voice is not supposes to change but do you ruin the tone quality or something else by forcing your voice to a different range?

Note: I hope this article is a good one. I hate to admit it, but I didn't read it all - I usually read anything I am about post. When I saw the length of this blog, I thought, *nooooo, I can't do that whole thing!* (believe it or not, I'm really not overly fond of reading. And here I am...on a forum!). But the headline seemed like it would be of interest. I hope it wasn't misleading. If it was, you all just line up and you can each cyber kick me (once) where the sun don' shine. Hi I am wondering if I am transgendered even if I get sexually excited wearing womens clothes sometimes but I also just like to wear and not have this happen? I have in the past enjoyed women's clothes as a pre-teen and and continued off/on over the years. I still sometimes just like to wear womens clothes because it just feels right but can still get sexually excited especially with certain lingerie and fantasizing. I look at sexy women and want to be like them and have bought women's shoes, lingerie, jeans, bras etc and enjoy wearing them. I love the feel of shaved legs pantyhose. I sometimes look transexual (shemale) porn and am sexually excited by this als…

Hello I am gathering information about future TG male to female and female to male operations in the United Kingdom in the light of recent events concerning the recent government Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) announced this month. Thousands of jobs in the NHS are already earmarked for cuts as primary care trusts and strategic health authorities are to be abolished as part of the coalition's reforms and it is feared that some hospitals may seek to cut frontline jobs as well. Experts have warned that plans to give GPs greater control over the NHS budget and the reorganisation this will take will cost between £2bn and £3bn, and The Royal College of Nursing estimat…

Heyy everyone. I have read some of the boards and I know this will vary on case by case basis and the dr's will give me in depth knowledge. THIS IS STRICTLY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE AND OPINION. Are the hormones taken BioIdentical? Or is it the chemical kind? Also I see people taking pills but from my research they say that it is bad for liver and shots are better?? Opinions on this?

Hi to all, I am new on this forum. One of the reasons that I have joined is that I am hoping that I could hear from any members with any experiences with facial feminisation surgery. I have been searching the internet however I seem to be having trouble in finding too much in the way of genuine independent reviews etc. I will kick off by asking if anyone might of heard or have had any personal dealings with a company in Lima in Peru called Femilife. I have contacted them and they have provided prices and procedural information that seem to be really quite reasonable. I have tried asking them if I could communicate with any of their ex clients and they have not …

Hi Guys, I've just joined today and wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I'm a 35 year old married " male " from England with 2 children and I was diagnosed with GID last year. I knew I was a girl I think from the age of five, my first memories were nothing special. I acted like a girl because I am a girl, at that age I thought all girls had a penis so this didn't bother me, until my mother had a baby girl. I soon noticed the difference between me and my sister and I started wondering why I had this thing between my legs and she did not. From then on through my life when ever I acted like a girl or wanted to do effeminate things, I would be heavily chastised by …

I've read recently that mothers who took DES hormones during their 1st trimester (which was common for women in the 1950s who had trouble with pregnancy) may have affected their male babies in utero. The DES (which is essentially a synthetic estrogen) interfered with and reduced the testosterone surge in the middle of the 2nd trimester, which may have led to the male baby's "misalignment" between sex and desired/preferred gender. In other words, this might lead to the child's being MTF transgender. I don't know if my mother took DES and it's impossible for me to find out as she's deceased and medical records are not available. I looked around and was surprised to s…

There is a plethora of information, tips and advice available for women regarding intimate hygiene and grooming in books, magazines and on the Internet. Try looking for similar information specific to pre-op T-girls and you come up cold. Personally, I would have lapped up stuff like that when I started to seriously consider transition, and I’m sure todays and tomorrow’s new girls would as well. I know from what I’ve gone through and from conversations with T-girlfriends that intimate hygiene and grooming is too often a self-taught hit or miss thing for us pre-op girls as we go through our transitions. Most, if not all, of the existing advice for genetic girls makes…

I had a brain fart and couldn’t think of the correct terminology for the subject, but I think it comes across fairly clear. I have full intentions on reassignment surgery in the future. But I honestly don’t know which way to go. I know if I went for depth I would be using a dilator for the rest of my life. Which sounds like a pain in the butt. But I don’t know if I would be fully happy going nondepth. So I wanted to ask everyone here what the pros and cons are of each. And to the ladies that have had the procedure, what were some of your reasons for your choice? I know I need as much research as I can get prior to the surgery. At the moment all I have had …

Does anyone have any good tips for passing as more female? I would love to hear anyone's input on this. I would love to be able to go out more as myself but I am nervous because so far all I seem to get is stares and or ride comments on my appearance. I would love to be able to show more of my true self And femininity.

I know there's a member intro forum on here but I see more activity here. Here's my deal... I am a 40 y.o. male. By the time I was 9, I knew that I did not identify with my assigned gender but didn't know the words to put with it. I would go to my cousins' and play barbies with them. Throughout elementary school I kept female friends and would play house with them at recess. I even found my mother's little girl cloths she kept in a dresser in our guest room and would play dress up alone. Back then there just wasn't anywhere to turn...you were just directed on how boys were to act. To this day I've kept up with dressing up in private and have a very understandi…

What I have done for years is to have a pair of breast forms and a backup pair just in case. Well it appears my backup pair (never worn) will be collecting dust unless I sell them or give them away. So here is the deal, give me a really good reason to give them to you. I will allow this thread to be open for say a month or until I deem someone has provided a good reason why they should be given these forms. At that time I will have that person give me an address to ship them too and of course I will pick up the shipping. Let the games begin Forms, size 3 http://www.thebreastformstore.com/breast-form-store-gold-seal-classic2.aspx
