We’re looking to get out of town. I can’t live here anymore. I’m a country girl. I grew up on a small stock farm, and living in town has taken a massive toll on me. My depression has steadily gotten worse over the years, as well as my physical health. It has hit from all directions, and I’m completely losing it. I’m about to go out camping until we get a place. There’s a couple places we found, but my number one got sold unfortunately. But the place in second was a close second. I would upload the video I took spanning around the property, but you can hear my music, and it goes well beyond an R rating. I guess I could upload it to my site, and if anyone wants it, jus…

Well, Saturday I did it again. I got another addition to my household family. I brought home a hedgehog. The spikey little fart is still really skittish. Being in a completely new situation and all. So to count down it’s 4 dogs, 3 rats, 2 birds, and 1 hedgehog. What’s next? Koi fish and a herd of goats? We’re one camel away from being able to charge admission. We apparently have a donkey. Adrianne tells me every day something about me and an “ass”.🤨

  3. Jessica came to Ellen's rescue over the week end of August 1st in Richmond Virginia . This was long planned as Jessica realized Ellen was trying to move and consolidate a 5 bedroom home into a 21 foot rental truck !!!! What she saw was an abyss . Yes, Ellen HAD already stacked a living room, 12 X 18 to the ceiling by herself in a mere week an a half upon her return from Bend Oregon . Still , working 12 hour days by one's self is daunting ! The mission is clear and I chose to accept the challenge . I'm returning to live out my final days in Bend Oregon and damn the Torpedoes , Banker's and naysayer's , period !!!!I still feel as though my trip out to Bend was indeed …

We had to put Bean Dip down last night. He was completely unable to use his hind legs from what we were told. So we cut our St Louis vacation short and came home early. I haven’t spoken or been able to form a single thought in my head. But this one is worse than when we lost Gypsy. With Bean, it was a conscious decision made to intentionally kill him. I don’t know when or even if at this point I will be back. Losing Gypsy was extremely devastating. The role that we played in losing Bean Dip, was more than my mind has been able to handle.

Note: I wasn't sure where to post this. I didn't think it really fell under "general transgender discussion Depite being posted in the "O-T & H Forum," it is not meant to be humorous. -------------------------------------------- I'm sure, for those members who frequent the photo gallery, you are familiar with some of the images posted there. And of course, there are the occasional pix that moderators have to remove because they are not appropriate for the TGG forums. Now, it is not my intent to embarrass or offend anyone...but there's something that I have wanted to ask for a long time. I hope the topic can be discussed with respect as it is possibly a touc…

This time of year, the holidays for those who are isolated or alone can be very difficult. For those, like us, a part of the LGBTQ+ community and often shunned by family and friend alike, Thanksgiving and Christmas can be even tougher. And now, the world being in he grips of a pandemic, so many have been isolated just for being human and therefore vulnerable to a disease that doesn't give a whit whether you are alone, gay, black, elderly or Superman. For all our members in the U.S., I hope everyone is able to find some small way to enjoy this Thanksgiving. I hope that you can reach out to friends and family - virtually, of course, or by phone or email. Send som…

Ok, I can have my days and do I have them.. yes I do. I deal mine in micro bursts of screaming out. It helps a bit until the cap needs to be released again, yes lately, I have had more on my plate then I care to, my usual release is not letting off enough to subdue the need to just whamp the bejeasus out of some one or something, I'm usually quite level and centered because I let the crap of reality go, I can only fix or control the next two minutes so stressing over anything is really quite useless. I was born into this world filled with anger, before my mother passed away she would agree, but I never released it upon the world, well the brunt of it anyway, li…

Strange topic, I know but it's something I have been thinking about. Does anyone do anything charitable? I don't mean something like donating to the Red Cross, I mean something you just take upon yourself to do. It could be said that I do. During summer I pick up packs of water, like the ones that have 30 bottles. I bring them home, put them in a cooler and ice them down. Then I head out and start giving them out. I give them to the homeless, people who are working outside, or people that just look like they need a cold drink. It gets extremely hot in Missouri during the summer, but that's only the beginning of it. It's also humid enough that people have …

I came across this posting on Medium (which I love) this morning: https://medium.com/productivity-in-the-cloud/6-links-that-will-show-you-what-google-knows-about-you-f39b8af9decc I think it's valuable to know that Google (and of course, FB, Yahoo, and all the rest) are tracking our every move. I don't worry much about it but here again, good to be aware. Emma

  15. There aren't very many articles or videos that get to me. Maybe I'm just getting old and soft. Or maybe because it was too easy to replace "gay" with "trans" in some of the quoted statements in this article... Lucas Grindley, September 22 2012 11:58 AM ET ""I didn't want to call myself gay because gay meant you' re broken," one officer remembers. Another was afraid being gay might stop him from becoming an officer. "One woman cries as she remembers being told that being gay "is very biblically wrong and I don't want to see you go to hell." "Another came out on her birthday and was told by her family that they didn't want to hear from her again until she was st…

I had to share this... For all of us who've had a *canine family member, this will be no surprise - entertaining - but no surprise. This vid makes me laugh everytime I see it. For all of you who've never had a canine family member, this video should cause you to question the experts who claim dogs respond only to emotion, the sound of your voice and body language, and not actual words or sentences, or understand certain situations. Enjoy! -Mike http://www.youtube.c...h?v=_kLdO3EsECs *Canine family member = a dog who lives in the house with the family, not the poor dog that's relegated to a doghouse in the back yard and only sees any of the family when they brin…

I've been trying to keep up with what's going on, as I'm sure many of you are as well. It's unimaginable to me that a man, who was welcomed at the door, would walk in and kill 49 innocent people who were simply praying. He was an admitted white supremacist, which is sickening. He chose Christchurch for some reason, that I still don't get. I've tried finding his manifesto, so that maybe I could figure out why, but I'm guessing it's been removed from the net. But what kind of sick monster would do this? Did the church attack him and he was taking revenge? No. He was and is a twisted loser. There's even a YouTuber telling people to shut up when they say "prayers and thoughts…

I'm gonna try to get another game going here. For this one you post 3-4 lines from a famous work that you enjoy. Nothing super obvious, and the next person has to guess what it is. Fairly simple right? It can be poetry, short stories, plays, novels, or whatever as long as it is the written word. No quotes from movies and TV that are only in the cinematic medium. Ready? GO! In faith I do not love thee with mine eyes for they in thee a thousand errors note but tis my heart that loves what they despise who in despite of view is pleased to dote

Is there a possibility that anyone else is going to the KC (technically St Joe) Crypticon this coming weekend? My wife and I will be there on Saturday. It's a 3 day event going from Friday thru Sunday. We try to go every year, but this one will be especially fun. Tobin Bell (aka Jigsaw) will be there Saturday. There's all sorts of actors from mostly the horror genre there. Another that I want to see for the second time will be Daniel Logan. He played the young Boba Fett in Star Wars episode 2. I met him last year at Knoxville Comicon. He's a really awesome guy. So if you're going, maybe we could grab a hotdog together? Anyway here's the link: Kansas City Cryptic…

May 18th will be the greatest day of my life ever. That is the day I go meet two of the top youtube celebs as they tour with a band that has become my favorite band to listen to. Those of you that have never heard of SMPFilms/DudeLikeHella..I will explain who that is. First look up on youtube for the Mean Kitty Song by SMPFilms(Cory"Mr. Safety" Williams). He is the man who is behind the song that made him an viral hit on youtube because of his cat Sparta. Cory has been a big impact on my life and has kept me from going insane when life was at it's worst. I would watch his videos and feel good knowing that I could relate to whatever he was doing or saying. …

I have always felt that one of my purposes in life was to take care of my family. At 3 years old, my parents had a big fight and my Mom ran out and jumped into the car. I remember like it was yesterday, something inside me told me to jump in the car with her. She told me years later that she was planning on crashing the car...taking her life, but she saw me with her and couldn't do it. I have always felt my life purpose has been to be there for my family, even when they weren't there for me. I am now my Dad's primary caregiver. Took him to the VA on Thursday and they declared him legally blind. Also, with my Mom and my sister, they have always had a strain…
