Not sure if any of you deal with this. I have tried so many times to change things for the better. Big thing was in working to get the NH DMV to change policy. All to no avail. I am finding with all that....I am in a place now ...that...it takes everything inside of me , to step outside my own front door. So tired of dealing with, not being able to be me....no matter what I do. I just want to crawl into a hole and pull in the earth after me. I am just in a place where it takes all the strenght I have, to step outside my own door. That the only thing I look forward to is sleeping, because, there, I can dream.

I feel like I wanted to write this blog because inside I feel ashamed and feel like I am a freak..well not in the sense of being a transperson but the fact for having feelings for a a gender that even shocks me to be attracted to as I like genetic females, even though I want to change to being a female..if that made any sense. I am so confused..maybe..I think I just rambled on..lol. Anyways..let me get to the point before someone gets bored. For years I have been attracted to females and could not see myself attracted to men as I find them disgusting vile in my eyes. And just the last few days, I suddenly seem to get sexual attracted to shemales. I know I know..what…

is why so many people are "in the closet". WHAT ARE PEOPLE HIDING FROM? It's a great big beautiful world out here people, get out and enjoy life as the person you are. Don't let anyone get you down, or tell you that you can't (or shouldn't) do something. You simply need to dismiss the naysayers. (and this includes ANYONE who is a naysayer, "family", "friends", etc., etc) If someone doesn't like what you're doing, then the hell with them. Tell them they have a choice, they can either love, cherish and accept you, or they won't be in your life anymore, and you will simply dismiss them from your life. That is what I have done. WE HAVE A RIGHT TO BE HAPPY TOO. …

Hi All. I met with my State Representative last Friday, to try to find a way to get my gender marker changed on my driver's license. Even though I have been on hormones since 2003 and have had chest surgery, I live in a state that requires complete surgery to change any markers. She was very supportive and very much a go-getter. As i was meeting with her, we discussed how this state policy is a hardship in employment opportunities. When she found out the steps I have taken to get back into my profession.....she gave me the name of a person to contact and said...tell them i sent you. Now all I need is a huge injection of self-confidence. this is a profession I have …

Has anyone had the gender marker changed on their driver's license in Arkansas? What type of documentation is required? Do you have to have surgery first? Is there an official policy? Any information on this topic would be really great. Thanks!

Hi all. As most of you know, I have been working in trying to get the DMV in my state to change policy for changing ones gender marker on a drivers license. In the past couple months, I worked with a State Rep to try to get the DMV to offer an exemption for people that might have a financial hardship or a medical one in meeting the 'complete surgery ' requirement, and, again, that fell on deaf ears. I even presented the case of how having a non-matching gender marker makes it impossible for one to find employment....but, no one cares. So, I guess it's time for me to stop my fight. To be thankful for what I do have, and let go of my dreams. You see, I had the dream t…

Would like to point out that although many countrys issue a new birth certificate or a person is recognised in their new gender after GRS,In most parts of Europe and definatly the UK, this is not the case,So many people i kbnow who have had GRS in these areas keep saying they are finaly recognised as their new gender, this is wrong, you need apply for a GRC (Gender Recognition Certificate) Which also automaticly issues a birth certificate, all your rights to mariage, pensions and even death are not granted and despite the NHS treating you as your aquired gender and even updating your passport , the other departments will not,If you was born male, had GRS and die before obtain…

I just don't know where to start. I sat thinking the other day about my father and how much he has hurt me. So I decided to phone him and give him one last chance, I thought to myself if he rejects me again, then I will rule him out of my life and I agreed to move on. So I rang his cell and we ended up in a massive argument, which is what I thought would happen. So I let about 10 minutes pass, then I sent him a text message - " You're just like my mother, I know you'd reject me again, well, that's ok, because it doesn't matter how many times you reject me I still love you ". So I let a few minutes pass and rang him again, this time the conversation was a lot more ca…

Over the years, because I (if no one else) knew that i was a boy, many words, and some phrases became distasteful to me. Some I even came to hate and will when possible avoid using them. Others cause me to inwardly cringe when I hear them. Here's a sampling: *Tomboy (when directed at me) *My own birth name (when I have to say it) *Ms, Miss, Mrs and Ma'am (when directed at me) *the "politically correct" words like "chairWOMAN," "mailLADY" *"Act like a LADY!!" (when directed at me) *any words for certain parts of the female anatomy (causes embarrassment more than anything) *"That's a BOYS shirt!!" (uttered by the speaker - female, naturally - with great di…

I read through some of my old writings prior to and after I came out. I was a jumble of confusion and longing. I was confused about my gender. At the same time I wanted to break out of my so-called normal existence. After I came out, I grew into my new identity as a transgender person. I absorbed every experience that came my way. My gender issues stretched as far back as 2000. I didn't know what I was wrestling with at that time. It was much bigger than I imagined. I always believed that we possess both feminine and masculine traits. Why some are equated with one gender and not the other is beyond me. It shows the fallacy of the gender binary system when someone goes …

I am in a situation that well I am not sure on and yet I am severely unhappy with things in my life. Here is the list of them 1)I am in the low income bracket, meaning I am on SSI and can't afford to transition to female Like I truly want to. 2) I hate the town and state where I live and want to move me and my dad to where I can have friends in the trans community that will be supportive and help me with trying to transition as I am so scared I will screw it up. 3) I been getting depressed more then normal because I am lonely and don't hav…

Hi all. I have been working with a state rep in changing DMV rulings regarding changing one's gender marker on a drivers license. One thing this state rep asked me to find out is....how many NH trans people does the current policy, that requires complete surgery, a hardship? Seems like all the NH support groups that I knew in the past, have vanished. So, I am asking here. And, if there are NH trans people here, that have other contacts, info on support groups, please ask them. I don't need names...I just need numbers. Thank you for any and all info.

Earlier i , did job applications No big deal Right? (i at least did close 30 all with annoyed frown painted along my face.) But i noticed some thing only a transsexual would see as a appealing blessing .EEO ( Equal Employment opportunity) For those who don't know (or just don't live in America ) it allows the option not to disclose your gender identify or race if it bothers you. For most of them of I chose not identify (because intend to save up money for surgery with what ever job thats in my future). Except for one of the applications i intentionally did twice with the same name, same resume except one i choose not identify, and other i put as male (Both ha…

Hi all. In the past weeks, I have been getting numerous calls and e-mails from people I thought were my friends...my supporters. They have been calling, asking for my help dealing with tax issues. (I used to work as a CPA). Anyway, today, I sent them a message asking for their support. I have a big meeting on Friday....one that could change my life. One that will either propel me forward or leave me letting go of everything. And, no response...except for one. This person said....I am to tired to answer your question and I still need help with my taxes. So much for having a support system. I am still trusting that Fridays meeting will propel me to a new chance …

Hi Everyone. Not sure if any of you have heard of peer support or of respite centers. It's an alternative to psych hospitalization. The person that started this is a dear friend of mine. She has been asked to come up with new ideas to deal with the transgender community in different states and has asked for my help. I can tell her about experiences I know of. Would like others input also. the questions being...if you are a trans person, just starting your journey, What kind of support would you need? What could someone say or how could they talk to you that would help? If you are a person that has been transitioning for a while...and still dealing with hardship...what wou…

I did not see this here and there should always be a thread of this nature. First off is your purse. Some feel pretty safe because they have there stuff in a wallet. But that wallet may be in a purse. You need to stop and think about that for a second. If you glance away from your purse even for a second it can be gone. Even if you glance up as someone grabs it can you actually change them down in those 3 inch heels? Your keys are in there, your ID... Your money. Hey they can beat you home and use your keys to get in... Where are you at? Where are the doors? If followed where is the nearest major store that will have lots of people? If you break down who can yo…
