Was over to my dad's today. Drove him to appointments. Today was the first day I have seen my 86 year old Dad as an old man. He could hardly walk and a couple times I had to catch him from taking a nose dive. His memory is also fading . The most heartbreaking part, is my Dad sees it. He had always said he would never go to a nursing home. Today he told me, when the time comes, there is only one home he would go to, and made me write it down. So, I am looking to get back into my old profession of accounting. I know I have a lot of catching up to do, so, I am looking for a place where I can purchase college textbooks - teachers editions. (Used) I believe if I can find such an animal, I can do the catching up I need to do on my own. Any suggestions? I have the degree and the license, I just need to catch up. I've mentioned other forums that I'm on that are Invision forums. One has a section that is Member Interviews. If they feel inclined the members post a thread usually labeled "Ask Membername" and the rest of the forum asks them random questions. What's your favorite car, where is your dream vacation spot, what food would you like to try, and so on. It's a great way to get to know each other better. I thought it may be fun to have that here. What's everyone's thoughts? Yay? Nay?

So I know with myself navigating this transition and relearning me it's been a challenging and somewhat lonely experience. That leads me to my question, are there any resources out there that you know that may assist in finding a mentor or even just a pen pal to help support through this journey? Additionally, any ideas that could support those transitioning while incarcerated? I know many in prison that are lost and confused trying to find their way through their own transition.

Last night, 3 of my little guys died. My wife cranked up the space heater full blast in the computer room where they were and didn't tell me about it. The heat killed 3 of them. The only one that survived was Money. He's devastated. He was curled up with Spook trying to wake him up. I'm heartbroken. There's going to be a funeral later today for them.

So i ordered a pair of jeans to try to see how I like the size since my current jeans fell off. Luckily, in the house before I had any dumb ideas of wearing them outside. Hello again, I dress every night after work, and I like to record some of my thoughts. I got the idea of a YouTube cgannel from a friend at work who makes underwater dive videos and has his own channel..I decided to do one myself to model my outfits and document my transgender journey. It is a work in progress for sure and has taken on a life of its own. I don't know how many trans comedians there are, but right now that is the direction I am heading.
