  2. Started by AAP,

Hello, I'm AAP. About 4 months ago, I've been very confused about what I am and sometimes my insecurity troubles me. I can split myself into two parts. One half loves the idea the of being transgender or a cross-dresser and living happier because I can explore myself in new and exciting ways. But the other half can be scared, sad and or depressed about the thought. Luckily, I've been getting some help with friends and family. I've so far talked to one friend, four family members and a therapist about my feelings. My friend is also transgender who I knew very well. The family members were my niece, brother, Mom and Dad. So far, my niece, brother and friend have been very s…

  3. Started by Kayla28,

Hi everyone! First let me say that I hate these introduction things lol. I'm Kayla. I was diagnosed with GID about 5 years ago. I only completed the first 6 months on hormones. I had to drive to Atlanta to see my endocronoglist(sp). My fear of driving in a city that large was more than I could overcome. I'm now back on hormones and have been for 2 months. The hormones have literally saved my life. The internal struggle became more than I could bear. I'm still living as a male when I have to leave home. Work will not allow me to fully transition. I'm 53 years old so hopefully it won't be that long before I do. There is a lot to do before that day arrives. So, please feel …

Hello all, My name is Erica Elizabeth Ravenwood, owner of a website called TheTransgenderMovement.com which I started as a way to give more information. http://www.thetransgendermovement.com/ I have been transgender my whole life. I was aware I was female at three years old but spent the next forty plus years learning how to deal with that knowledge. I have spent the last two exhausting years developing ways to explain the basics surrounding the topics concerning transgender people. What I found was the similarities all people have. What I have tried to give you are the arguments to show that. I've done quite a bit of teaching throughout NY state. Psychologists, physicia…

  7. Started by Farah,

Hi...new to the site here. I classify myself as a crossdresser, although I haven't dressed much lately. When I do dress, I usually wear panties and a bra every now and then. In reality, I suppose I am still experimenting with crossdressing. I haven't divulged my crossdressing urges to anyone. I have had a feminization fantasy for years...I suppose that helped kickstart my crossdressing. My dressing started just a few years ago....never had the urge to do so before that. Growing up, I was a typical male...not effeminate whatsoever. I felt like I was wierd though....having secret fantasies of being feminized...not something one typically shares with family and fri…

Hello, my name is Margot. I've known I was female since I was 3/4. Found out what a transsexual was when I was 12. Came to terms that I was transgendered when I was 14. Came out to a few friends when I was 16. Openly admitted it when I was 18/19. Dressed publicly for the first time this year, came out to my family too. Now I'm mostly full time and looking to start taking hormones soon. I love music, I play guitar, piano, and sing. I enjoy writing songs and I love music in every genre, it's hard for me to find music I don't like. I love the outdoors, I camp, hike, run, and go for walks. I also like video games and movies. I study chemical engineering. That's me in a nutshe…

  10. Hello my name is Randall. I am a straight male who has been envolved with transgender woman pretty exclusive for the past 9 years. I'm not an " admirer " or an " experimenter". I actually hate tags or titles, and I can assure you, I am far from either of those. I do have a girlfriend ( transgender ) who lives overseas. She is coming to visit me the middle of August , here in Atlanta. Of course, I am overjoyed, but anixous. We did meet online and I am sure many might think " online dating scam " but I can assure you it is not. Even if it was, I wouldn't care. I had an Uncle cheat me out of over $100,000, so the $1100 plane ticket to bring her here, ain't nothing. I've alw…

  12. Started by Sara17,

Hello, all. My name is Sara. (Well, that's not my legal name, but I'm sure you know what I mean.) I actually registered a few weeks back, but it has taken me this long to work up the nerve to post something. I don't know if this is standard, but I see that Ben Verona has posted some background info in an introduction thread, so I thought maybe I'd do the same. Sorry in advance if this gets a bit long... I'm shy enough that if you met me on the street, you might need the Jaws of Life to get a full sentence out of me, but when it comes to writing, I can just keep going and going. The earliest memories I have of wanting to be a girl were sometime in the range of ages…

  13. Hi everyone, i posted a thread earlier without really introducing myself properly. That other thread I posted mostly concerns how I can ease my wife into my preferred gender identity without hurting our relationship. Here is that tread Incase you would like to help out my name is James and not sure what I’d want to change that to if I ever transition. I’m only 25 and I grew up in the states but moved to China and now will be moving to Japan. Currently nobody knows I’m trans and I have bottled it up for years, I think I started to feel I was a girl inside since I was 15...but I can’t really remember. The only girly thing I’m really interested in is cute things…

    Started by Guest SandiMarieAZ,

Hello, My name is Sandi and I'm from sunny Arizona. I'm a mtf transexual that has just started down the path of discovering who I really am, and how far to go. Like most other "girls" in this situation I was born and raised during a time period that our "situations" were not discussed openly. I felt both ashamed of who I was as well as desiring very much to become the "person" I felt I was truly meant to be. Having lived almost 50 years as the wrong gender, I'm not sure I can correct things now, but I'm hoping to at least learn how to let Sandi live her life in a manner that gives her some freedom, joy and happyness.

  22. Started by KittenNikki,

Hi everyone. I'm going on 39, living in Ohio, and have apparently been very confused about my gender for a very long time. I did manage to hide most of it from my wife for over 17 years, but it all came out a few weeks ago when she found some things I'd thought I'd stashed. I very much had the purging behavior and never really dealt with it much until it really came to a head when I got saddled with some work hours that left a lot of time on my hands and let me think on things and I fell into a depression over it and started to really self-examine. When I was a child, I don't remember my exact age other than that it was after my sister was born and before we moved into to…
