Here's hoping that pride month goes smoothly this year. Maybe we'll even get some legislation in our favor somewhere in this world. Preferably here in America. Anyone got any kind of plans for celebrating this month? I'm working with my legion on cleaning up a section of a popular walking trail. I'm not really able to do much due to the chair, but I do what I can.

Here he uses a bad study to have a moral panic over, then at 8:20 in the video makes a false equivalence between age and gender (while again conflating gender and sex).

This jerk seems to use it against the transgender community: I wonder however if this is related to depersonalization?

Hi all, I just had my initial orientation for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). I'm very curious about the emotional / mental aspects of it. With a bit of luck I'll be starting HRT in 2 - 3 weeks from now. I'm super excited but also nervous. Can anyone tell me how they felt when they started HRT? Nervous to start it? How did the hormones make you feel? What were the changes you noticed? I was so happy during the informed consent process that I didn't know to laugh or cry. So I did both.

Hello, I apologize if the views and questions I have is offensive to anyone, but I don't have anyone in my world to answer these types of questions and I want to understand better to hopefully tweak some of my viewpoints. If something I say is off-putting please let me know and why because it is not intentional. I have always believed that everyone deserves to live their life the way they want, if it makes you happy and doesn't hurt others who cares if someone doesn't agree/understand it. If I know someone uses different pronouns than I try to make sure to use what makes them feel comfortable. I always felt like that was enough. Now, I want to work on that becau…

The respinse has been almost universally supportive. Almost. My bother and one strpdaughterare close-minded at this point. We will see how it goes. It still feels good for me to be opem about myself. It was high time.

I'm not sure where in actually terminology I'd fall and I've searched everywhere but nobody has been able to relate, I just feel isolated and I don't know what to do. The only people I've seen feel similarly are trans women and amab nonbinary people and I don't want to seem like a jerk who's just talking over them. I'm afab, but my parents raised me as a boy and I guess now that I've been forced to stop identifying with masculinity I don't feel like anything, but I'm not sure how to go about leading a life when I'm so different from my trans man and nonbinary afab friends who feel afraid because I have "man behavior". I feel like I have to shut up and minimize mysel…

Past came back to me and coming out 12 years ago was a journey that was tough and got easier down the road.I remember in my teens going in my mom's closet starting at the age of 13 trying on her clothes when she was gone at work.Included my step sister's clothes too.I loved wearing them know how comfortable they were to wear.It was never noticed, put everything back the way I found them.A month after my 30th birthday 12 years ago, wife introduced me to women's clothes and it was into a year when we started dating. She let me try on a few pieces of clothes of hers on and it all came back. After that I went out with her and a couple of her friends dressed as female. She saw I lo…

I'm a non-op trans woman living in New Jersey. I am looking for other trans women, trans men, gender fluid, gays, admirers and investors interested in talking about creating a completely inclusive business in the pet / exotic pet industry using their unique abilities / resources. A business where you will be referred to by your desired pronouns / names. Where you can wear what you want as long as it doesn't prevent you from doing your job. Where you don't have to stick to whatever you wore the day before. Pants and loafers one day and skirt, hose and heels the next. If this interests you please contact me and we can start a discussion on making this a reality. Theres…

I just came across this YouTube video and I agree with the guy to a point. He is using just the one case to make his point which I agree with but just in this case and not all cases. Let me know what you think? Australian Transgender Athlete BANNED from DESTROYING WOMEN - YouTube I am thinking about women who transition early in life and don't have the body advantage as others might when transitioning later on. In this case she hasn't fully transitioned either. I am not sure why she even wants to compete? How much fun can it be? Are there women her size in the league? Zdeno Chara, 6'9" NHL defenceman (ice hockey), there are players a foot smaller than hi…

Adrianne and I are planning a cruise for fall 2022 assuming COVID-19 is dealt with. I know that in Brazil at the moment, killing a transgender person is more or less considered a public service. On the cruise we’re looking at it would take us through the Panamá Canal with a stop in Cartagena Colombia. My understanding is that the attitude isn’t much different in Colombia than it is in Brazil. So I’m asking if anyone knows if it would be smart for me to even show my face on the ship, let alone disembark for some time in the country. And if I did disembark, should I be in fear for my life, and more importantly, Adrianne’s life?

I found this article and it was really enlightening to something I hadn't really thought about before. We all talk about our issues here, but now that I think about it, I can't think of any talk from or about being nonbinary here. If there is anyone who is, and struggles with this, this article could help. If not, it could still help the rest of us.

Please note: This is long. and it rambles, and it likely draws the wrong conclusions. I'm sharing it with all you lovely people because I think clearer when I'm writing for an audience rather than just myself. My intention is to not invalidate anyone's experience, but to put my own into context. I love you all. - Dezzy I've mentioned in a couple of threads that I'm just coming to my identity. It's very confusing and I don't have the language I need to express myself cleanly. But that's what our community is for isn't it? To help people coming into this new knowing of themselves to express themselves and understand better. I came of age in the eig…

Proud of my dad now,he has fully come to terms I am much happier now.Came over to my place and we did talk. Finally said he had something to say and I said to say it which surprised me.Looked at me tearing up and said he has fully come to terms he has a much happier daughter in his life now saying goodbye to the unhappy son he once had.I teared up a little bit and we hugged.I looked at him and said I was proud of him for that. Before I started my transition,we had a great relationship and we still do.Even asked him what made him make this decision, said it was from my brothers that love and accept me as a sister.Good thing is he has learned to let go of an unhappy son that h…

I wasn’t sure what board was the appropriate one so I put it here. I know staff will move it if it’s in the wrong place. I filled out the volunteer application at The Trevor Project earlier today. I’m hoping to become a chat counselor to help teens and children see that the grass is greener on the other side of the mountain we’re all forced to climb, and it’s worth reaching that summit to see. I’m curious about any advice I can soak up from members here. Anyone who has done this kind of thing in the past (or currently) I’m all ears. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee I will be accepted. But here’s hoping.

I came across this article and I thought it was a good read. I thought it explained just that...How to be Human. This is very frustrating and this message needs to get across to the rest of society and the discussion needs to be constant and ongoing, in it's proper terms...Human! Living authentic for almost a year now and choosing be very visible and public, I've posted it on my social media because quite frankly, I'm getting tired of correcting people, and teaching them manners.🤨 Additionally, at the end of the article, there are also links to several procedures which I would have found helpful when I began my transition. https://www.healthline.com/health/…

I'm asking this of everyone, regardless of age. If you came out fully, and told your parents, how did they react? I haven't come out to anyone, but that's because I cut them out of my life. So there's no one to come out to other than my wife, which I did several years ago. I've been in full transition for 3½ years now. She has supported me all the way, and says she has the best of both worlds now. Someone who has insight to a male mindset, and a female mindset. But she's still not my mother or father. My sperm donor (AKA father) died in 2000 thankfully. As far as I know my egg donor (AKA mother) is still alive. She knows I'm bisexual, but to my knowledge has no idea …

Been thinking about my past relationships as a man. Mostly sex... sorry if this is TMI. I find that it's not that interesting for me and just animalistic with all the thrusting etc. I've always thought the female side would be so much more enjoyable/relaxing while I'm just grossed out by it which then gets into my head and performance drops and nobody ends up having an enjoyable time (mostly for me after for a while). I'd always hoped therapy would help but can't seem to shake it as it's been a constant in my head since childhood that I'd like to be a woman. Is there any hope for those perhaps stuck in the wrong body/sex? I'm afraid of being now to old to transitio…
