I have been in such a low place lately. My depression meds don't seem to be working. I haven't even wanted to shave my chest or armpits or legs. Which I normally do. I have been called out before on pieces of clothes I wear. But that does not really bother me. What bothers me the most is the looks people who don't understand give me. When someone makes a comment of look at that guy he has boobs. Or is he wearing women's pants? What does he think he is. Well and a lot of those comments are made by people I deal with daily. I have a definitely burning question for my own personal experiences to share and ask ANYONE about if they got hired dressing up in girls or men's clothes from being opposing genders?? I myself have been to 2 interviews and the HR person didn't call me back for the job position. I know I was over qualified & the position was sales merely not technical position. Hi, New to this forum. I am a 25 year old trans man, started testosterone last year and I am doing good as of now. I have decided to take the next step and undergo top surgery procedure. I would like to know if anyone here has undergone this procedure. If so, please share your experience with me. I am super tensed about the whole thing, but excited as well. I grew up in the 60s and 70s when a polite society didn't talk about transgender topics. I learned the hard way that you just didn't even mention such things in my family. I got past all that and began exploring my gender identity in the 80s and fully transitioned in the early 90s. It still wasn't a very accommodating society but I was lucky enough to be able to live in stealth mode. Transgender people who came before us had a very difficult path for sure. But I have noticed over the past 30 years that society is ever-so-slowly evolving regarding understanding and acceptance of transgender people. I'm back on track with my trans life after five years of dening who I am. I want to get back on HRT but need to see my doctor about it who said after my heart attack it was not wise to pursue. I was wondering if the use of the off the self estrogen will this low dosage help in anyway till I can see the doctor. Also with normal therapy will this decrease my sex drive to nil.?
