Regaining sense of community control Hello everybody! It's been a while since back logging on to tgguide community forums! I had two reasons for not logging on regular basis! Firstly I lost access to my tablet due to battery failure and I just bought it on new year's! Secondly I thought I was the only transgender person in mega city as I reside in! But after my 4 years of hardcore transitions on or off, I have found a exact replica of my cross dressers to transgender community meeting every Monday in my area of residence! I hope to promote my YouTube channel for all members of transgender community not only cross dressers! Few that's a big scope. Visit Shazy Jeo on Y…

And other helpful tips. Not from "him" or "her," but from "them." You'd be surprised how many people ask me about my crotch. It's a lot. I have had people ask me which "parts" I have, how they look, what I plan to do with them. I don't run around with a sign that says "ask me about my crotch," but as soon as I bring up my gender identity to certain people, all of a sudden it appears on the discussion table like a highly inappropriate Seamless order. Yes, even in New York. Yes, even among seemingly "progressive" people. And it stems from the fact that most people you meet simply do not know much about non-binary gender identities. It usually goes like this: "So you don't …

Matthew Breen | July 18 2014 "Nevertheless, two words have been conflated with trans identities, and those words have hijacked much of the discourse. The vitriolic conversations over the use of the words tranny and she-male—who can claim ownership over them and who should heed their power to injure as slurs, who is in-group and who is an outsider—have been caustic and divisive." --advicate.com Editor's Letter: Excising That Word

I am getting ready to start HRT. I want to get the facial feminization and breast augmentation done as soon as possible. I know for a few months my nipples will be sore due to my breasts growing. I know I have to be on HRT for a year and living the role for a year in order to have gender reassignment surgery. I would like to get the other surgeries done over the summer... Is that too soon or impossible? Thanks for any help you can provide...

From a spiritual perspective, as a trans sexual woman, I am intrigued by the shamanic tradition in indigenious people of two spirit individuals. In some tribes we are considered blessed with the connection to both genders. We are considered healers and the receipients of the tribes shamanic traditions for healing and spiritual quests. Does anyone else see the transsexual experience in this positive light? Does anyone have sources of information about this topic

Darren Wee | 07 July 2015 "‘So, in the Bible, when a man sleeps with another man like with a woman, it’s an abomination. See, the emphasis is on a man betraying his status: He has feminized himself. So it’s a gender violation as opposed to a sexual violation.’" -- gaystarnews.com Jesus was gay or "at the very least' queer, says theologian ______________________________________ So, what's this guy's angle? Crackpot? Preacher with a twisted fantasy? Trying to whip the conservatives into a frenzy even more so than they're already in? Or did this guy just throw trans people under the bus in an attempt to get the hets off gay peoples' backs? Just wonderin' ....

Transgender people: 10 common myths Edited by German Lopez Mar 25, 2016, 12:00p "The most pervasive myth about transgender people — and the one myth that underpins much of the discrimination they face — is that they're somehow confused or actively misleading others by identifying with a gender different from the one assigned to them at birth." -vox.com

OK, anyone following me on "Faceless Book has seen my struggles in changing my records well past the Easily obtained Court recorded name change I received in September from Chesterfield County Virginia . The FUN began when it was time to get my driver's license changed . I swear , Virginia operates under two sets of laws . They have one of course who recognize relatives of elected or past elected officials . Then they have the "OTHER SET " . Yeah this one is for people like myself who are KNOWN Rabble rousers and Hippies . This is where I come in . It's a KNOWN Fact I was a protester during the Viet Nam era in Washington DC and yes , I knew , not that I was friends , but…

Hello, I am a married male, with four children. And yes, like so many in this world, I have a hidden secret. As far back as I can remember and thatthats pretty far, I have always felt out of place. I have always felt different from my friends, even my own siblings. I always played with dolls and baby dolls, but living in such an extremely abusive home, I spent a lot of time away from society, locked away in a makeshift prison cell, my bedroom. I spent a lot of time alone, locked away from everyone. I had alot of time to think and daydream. I always pretended that I was a girl. I would always dream about being a female singer, standing on stage a singing my heart out. As I…

A transexual friend (who has a PhD) asked me: If I could take a pill that would send me back into a male person - with no ambiguity or dysphoria, would I take it? So, I thought, rather than post my answer (just to be annoying), I would ask the forum: would you take that pill? This applies to post-op, pre-op, genderqueer, and those who are trans* everything but just thinking about how things might be on the other side. What say you?

Good evening! I'm trying to find places to go in Toledo. I don't actually live in the city so it's not really practical to just go all over asking bartenders to describe club climates to me but I will if I have to. My spouse is not yet certain what he's looking at in himself, and isn't ready to have any of this spill over into his day to day life until he's worked through his confusion, and I support however he wants to deal with this. He grew up in a bullying environment and is rather shy, so I thought I would try to see if I could reach out and get some recommendations. He has expressed interest to me in going out together with him in dress, only neither of us have…

Hi there, I have serious question to ask. It has two or three angles to the main question. After the straight person transitions to transgender or straight female to transgenderred or mix sex child to fully transgender person after surgery & so on etc. (Hermeditus). What does one involve their main part of activities on day to day basis? First of all as transgendered we change our dressing up for those of us in advanced stage of whether cross dressing to full gender living as true self? Secondly where do most trans gender hang out to assimilate themselves in public? What I am trying to understand is what is everyone's real physical favorite public places the most or t…

While I don't think about gender 24/7, its presence lurks over my shoulder. Whenever i'm out and about, seeing genetic women reminds me of the similarities and differences we possess. The differences have become less noticeable but it's still there. I've never felt guilty or ashamed about being transgender; I embraced it. I don't feel encumbered by gender norms or society's expectations.I crossed that bridge a long time ago. It seems that I'm getting bolder as I get older. Recently, my sister and two nieces found out about me being trans. I've been clocked numerous times while out. Other times people see me as another woman. passing is nice but being able to live my lif…

So after many years of wanting to do this I have started my transition one year ago and in the next few days ill be going to see a person that well let me take my hormones to go anther step farther into becoming the woman I was always wanted to be. But I am concerned about the effects that it will have on me and if they well even let me go father into my transition.. I am new to this kind of thing posting and wanting feed back.. But the thing is I am in my early 30s and for reason unknown to me I feel like I am starting so late and wont have time to transition before I am old. I like to also find a girl while/after everything.

Hi folks! I just discovered that TriCare, the non-VA medical insurance for active duty and retired folks, now covers SRS with a twist- they need documentation (read: Psychiatrist and therapist) that the individual has suffered from dysphoria since birth. This is a major, major shift for the military community! Hoorah and cheers.

In another thread I saw a couple of members say something like "well, we all started as crossdressers." And as I read that I thought well, yeah. But no! Heck no! I suppose I wanted to crossdress but I didn't think of it like that at all. I thus think it would be fun for us to post something about this. And to get it started, here's a few words about me: I was probably 4 or 5 when I realized how much I envied girls and wished I could be one. I remember situations at nursery school, playing with the girls - it just felt right and lots better. But somehow, although no one told me, I felt awareness that it was wrong. I was 7 when I talked my father into taking me to se…
