This article isn't specific to trans folk except that there is an interest in ultimately being able to have children as cisgender folk are able to do. This article has a number links to transplant information including a successful penis transplant. My Dear Friends, Today I have been the victim of adult bullying. What is embarrassing about it is that it was a senior lady picking on a 57 year old woman (me). Have also had a woman in her 50's pick on me while waiting for the bus in front of my building and a young man about 20 years my junior (30's) at a bus stop. I have a couple of questions which are aimed at transsexual women who are transitioning or have already transitioned and have children that are still in school and I'm asking because that's the position I'm in and I'm really concerned about going 'full-time' and making all the required social changes because of how it may affect my almost 4 year old daughter. In one post awhile back(before it went away because of some mean hacker people) there was a topic on these boards regarding Laser Hair Removal. I am in the process of having hair removed permanently with the use of laser treatment. So here is what I am learning. OMG the face has lots and lots of nerve endings! Moreso than I thought it had. Someplace here I indicated this movie was coming out soon and just had a chance to see it in the theaters. I was rather surprised that the theater was full and had not expected this. The news is slowly leaking out about SRS and Medicare. SRS can be performed with the help of Medicare. However, All states and All doctors are not accepting Medicare. Some doctors that are performing SRS with Medicare are considering their position. Medicare are not paying those Doctors that are currently performing SRS enough money to cover the Doctors skills and giving them a wage for doing this procedure. Hi everyone, I recently started volunteering at Identity House - a volunteer group in NYC that provides peer counseling, support groups, and therapy referrals for LGBT people - and a term has been used in various settings there that I wanted to ask people here about. Specifically, people will use the term "person of trans experience" - I wanted to see if others had heard that term, and what you think of it? Personally, I'm not a fan, it irks me as much as "transgendered" (it's not something that happened to me! It's who I am!!). I am a cis gendered straight white male. Currently, my oldest friend is working on her (I think she still uses female pronouns, that's in flux) journey.
