Within what I'm going to write I will name no names. I'm really bad at names anyway so the chance I would remember the names correctly are slim to none, lol. The following article (which includes some video of the person undergoing gender confirmation surgery) to me shows how important it is to have a strong support system in place as shown several times in the video of the mother's love for her child. The mother was clueless when she first found out her child was transgender but that all changed and she loved her no different than prior to her child's announcement. Today, just 10 minutes ago, my mother called me to tell me that another person of our community has been attacked by being slashed in the face by a woman. A Transman was attacked with a razor to the face after being a gentleman and offering two women a seat. Getting more confindent when i go out as Victoria as time passes.I joined a dart leauge a few months ago at a local pub as my male name but now go completely as Victoria.I have been getting lots of support and love from my friends there and couldnt be happier. When I met her she had been on estrogen (patches) for nearly 4 years and was living as a woman full-time. I am new to the forums and not really transgendered at all, but here to gain knowledge of transgender issues. I was wondering if anybody had made a study of transgenderism as it might relate to the Myer-Briggs personality classifications. There are 16 personality types in the Myer-Briggs classification system, and I am one of the most rare, INTJ (borderline ENTJ). Only 2% of the total population at very most is an INTJ. On top of that, it has a VERY STRONG GENDER BIAS as there are 3 male INTJ types for every 1 female INTJ type. I think this is one of the toughest things for me at this point. I wish I knew of a local transgender friendly cosmetics person who could come and do my colors. I have gone into Target to see if I could get some makeup, but there is so much selection. Need concealer, foundation, powder, blush, eye shadow, eyelash lengthener, (Blanking out one what you call it), lipstick and such. I have a number of different nail polishes, but rarely put them on as I might have to take them off quickly. Mostly sticking to clear for right now. Hi all, I'm a pretty avid tennis player, though sidelined since June from a shoulder injury - has anyone ever played tennis, or other sports, with a wig on? Just wondering how to keep it on with all that movement I tried to Google this, did find out that Andre Agassi once wore one at the French open.

So I am in my basement goofing off on my skateboard and I get a call from my friend. I pick up and I gently say, "Hello". He responds and says, "Um yes may I speak to so and so". I told his it was me. He was surprised. I asked him if he recognized me. He said I sounded like a woman. lol. He thought it was my mom or something. Has anyone here ever had an experience like this before? And has anybody actually went in for voice training before? I thought that the whole experience was both rewarding and flattering. :)

It is that time of year when depression can slide into life and wreak havoc especially for those who are in a dark place. My hopes are that those who have nobody to share the holidays properly with do find activities to keep them active and not alone as this is not good for mental health. For those who have someplace to go but not so welcome say if you were to attend in attire of the opposite gender consider dressing androgynous, might not feel the best but better than staying home alone. Anxiety and depression is huge in our community and if at all possible is best to get ahead of this before the holidays.

I have been researching foods to help enhance breast tissue, and some say it helps, others , not so much.. I already have a significant mass there from weightlifting when young, and at 54 years young now.. I am not very interested in hormones, but believe strongly in.. "we are what we eat"...
