For those, like us, a part of the LGBTQ+ community and often shunned by family and friend alike, Thanksgiving and Christmas can be even tougher. Did anyone get to see the planets this morning (7-19-20)? I was up at 3:30 AM to see it, but just my luck. The entire area was completely cloud covered. We even drove several miles out of town trying to find a spot to see them, but nothing without driving 100 miles was going to work.The entire CeMO area was blanketed. How is everybody doing during this pandemic ?

The US is one of only 3 countries in the world that still uses the imperial system. The other two being Myanmar and Liberia. In 1975 President Ford tried to switch the US to using the metric system, but it didn't take. I personally can't follow metric very well, but like many of you it's simply because I grew up under the imperial system. But my reason for this post, is I want to know what people think on whether or not the US should again try to switch to metric? This is a game that I have been waiting for, for a while now. It's scheduled for a release sometime this summer, but no official release date has been revealed yet. I'm posting because it's main character that you play as is transgender, and it implements a lot of the issues we face as the LGBTQ+ community. I have been waiting on the edge of my seat for it. I don't know how many have heard, but today it was announced that the show COPS is going to be cancelled due to the entire George Floyd incident. The show has been running for more than 30 years and made it through many other incidents of this nature. I personally don't see what a television show that is almost as old as I am has to do with this issue. So I have started a petition to try to save the show, because I find the reason for it being cancelled ridiculous. I checked with admin, and was told that this post would be allowable. I picked up Photoshop yesterday, and I'm looking forward to learning my way around it. I've never used it before, so I don't have a clue what I'm doing. So I was wondering if anyone here has used it and can give me a few tips on it that may make my learning experience a bit easier to get me up to where I know what I'm doing, without potentially screwing something up.

I got 4 female rats today. They're actually family. My little guy Oreo is blood. His mom and 3 of his sisters came to live with us today. The woman I got him from was no longer able to care for them due to schooling, so I bought them. They're so adorable. I'll post pictures when I can get good ones, but for now I'll just give the names. The mother of the litter is Possum. She looks just like a mini opossum. If I had any marbles left I'd be looking for them instead, but this isn't the problem. I have a song lyric stuck in my head, and no matter what I do, it keeps repeating itself, over and over. I've tried listening to music, watching videos, playing video games, playing with my babies, and everything else I can think of. Nothing works. I'm considering getting a tarantula. My question is, has anyone here had a tarantula? What species did you have? How was its temperament? Was it comfortable being handled? What was its habitat setup? Does anyone here have Hulu? If so do you have problems with it? We have it, and it never works right. It literally glitches every few seconds, and IF we can get any kind of image on the screen we consider ourselves lucky. It has never worked once since we got it. Adrianne's mother subscribed to it for a reason that I simply can't find and we each have a profile on there. We also have Netflix, and have no problems with it. But it doesn't have the TV shows I want to watch on it. SO if you have Hulu and it works for you, then for the love of the Gods tell me what the hell I'm doing wrong.
