The Spidermites of Jesus movie , actually a biographical look at a Richmond Virginia Drag queen , and street person is now off and running ! Yes, I'm in this movie , but DON'T go to see me . See the movie as it looks back to a time in Richmond Virginia LGBT history as it portrays the DARK Underbelly of Richmons's fan District . I lived during these times and I have survived and THRIVED! I met Donnie , uh Dirtwoman in 1969 as I began a short career in night time Taxi driving . Donnie was outside his HQ , the Village , then , a local Bohemian Speak easy on Grace Street near the then RPI, uh Richmond Professional Institute , today , Virginia Commonwealth University . Do…

I have a psycho that is stalking me. I responded to an ad on CraigsList that seemed innocent (god I feel like an idiot now). The ad said the person was looking for a hunting mentor. Someone to teach a person the ins and outs, dos and don'ts, and all that of hunting. The poster said they grew up on the islands, moved stateside a few years ago, and recently developed an interest. But (I'm going to use the masculine here) he had never used a gun. And I started hunting when I was 5. So I know big game and small game. So I thought "What the hell?" and responded. I said in my initial email that the first thing I needed to know was whether he ws interested in small game or big ga…

I saw this online several years ago and saved it. I think there are several people here who may like it, but be prepared to shed a tear or two. **************************** 1,000 Marbles "A Little Something about Precious Time" Written by Jeffrey Davis © 1999 All Rights Reserved Reprinted with Permission by LandOfMarbles.com "The older I get, the more I enjoy Saturday mornings. Perhaps it's the quiet solitude that comes with being the first to rise, or maybe it's the unbounded joy of not having to be at work. Either way, the first few hours of a Saturday morning …

The Jerry Williams biographical movie on Richmond Virginia's "Dirt woman", aka Donnie Corker has been accepted into the Virginia Film Festival in Charlottesville virginia in November !!!! This is exciting because I am a "Bit player " in the finished production and I knew Donnie personally as I was a cab driver for years and I once worked at the movie theater that his Father owned for awhile . This truly is an inspirational movie too because Donnie encouraged several to get out of the closet and be REAL years before it was allowable , legal or even acceptable ! http://dirtwomandoc.com/world-premiere/#comment-68

The Movie , The Spider Mites of Jesus opened last night in Richmond Virginia to an invited audience . Produced by Jerry Williams and Ray Bentley , This movie examines the twisted , sorted life of Donnie Corker , aka Dirt Woman . Every city has such a colorful person in the LGBT community . Richmond and Roanoke Virginia had Donnie . Donnie passed away in his sleep due to cancer and heart failure . There will never be anyone , at least in Richmond that can or would replace him . I can say he really was a hero to me because back in 1973 , between he and Christine Jorgensen , these two unlikely characters showed me it was possible to transition to the woman I am and thank God…

A very lovely day to everyone! I’ve created this thread for us to have another light-hearted discussion, this time, about the furry creatures in our lives. It’s always nice to have a four-legged companion beside you, especially in those trying times. I have a Siamese cat named Silya. She’s such an adorable dear, loves to cuddle and purr and sn uggle before bed time. I guess I could say she’s a bit spoiled, aside from buying her a scratch posts, pet supplements and squeaky toys are a part of my regular shopping list. She has always been a good friend to me, and I know, throughout my transition, she will still be there for me, hand-in-hand (paws-in-hand, I mean). How about…

So i ordered a pair of jeans to try to see how I like the size since my current jeans fell off. Luckily, in the house before I had any dumb ideas of wearing them outside. Dash diet works for weight loss on lazy people like me. SO...I ordered what I think is my new size, just one as a test to see if i like the fit/cut. My pants left Indianapolis, INdiana a week ago. And they hurtled on some fedex truck towards me here in Ohio and...hurtled right on by me for no reason I can explain to the OTHER side of Pennsylvania. Yeah, the NJ side. LOL Then they took a little trip up into Maryland I guess to catch the early fall color? I hope these pants have a great story to …

There's a site I have been to a thousand times over the years whenever I needed a chuckle. It's Bone Land. It has all sorts of flash on it, a lot of interactive stuff. The main character throughout the site it an idiot by the name of Jeb. There's tons of stuff at the site. If you want a recommendation I say check out The Court Of Judge Hellfire, and the town of Bumblescum. It's worth the visit. And go to the classic stuff. Some of it can get a little what some would call inappropriate, but most of it is just good humor.

I'm a YouTube addict. I spend hours every day on there. I'm subscribed to several channels. I was wanting to offer some channels that might be of interest to some of you, and see if anyone else has any they would offer. I'll give a basic description as best I can, but I've always sucked at describing things. Matthew Santoro - He's a kind of educational channel and does a LOT of top 10 lists. He makes it really fun. Rob Dyke - He delves a bit more into the creepy side of things, but has several series on his channel. Top15s - Nothing but the creepy stuff Chills - The same guy from Top15s this is his second channel. A lot of people hate his voice because…

Hi, I would like to share with you all something that I read recently. I read this article which explains some habits that accelerate the signs of aging, https://www.mcleanclinic.com/blog/skin-care/5-habits-accelerate-signs-aging/ . Most of these things are what we do unknowingly on a daily basis. Even though we cannot stop ourselves from aging, there are some things that we can keep in mind to reduce its speed. Smoking not only causes cancer, but even damages our skin beyond what we imagine. And so does excessive sugar consumption. Things like too much exposure to sun and neglecting our skin are also some factors that accelerates aging. We should alwa…

I have to say that I find the release of the Nunes memo and potential threats to Rosenstein, Mueller, and others deeply disturbing. Scott Newman | January 04, 2018 - 4:05 AM ET ...The problem impacts processors going back more than two decades and could let hackers access passwords, encryption keys or sensitive information open in applications," -- npr.org Intel Acknowledges Chip-Level Security Vulnerability In Processors _____________________________________________________ I first heard about this this evening on the NBC Nightly News. This article seems to mention by name only computers and smartphones. But news on TV seemed to indicate that basically ANYthing that has a processor is vulnerable - computers (both lap- and desktops), tablets, smart phones, etc., regardless of brand. I would think …

No topic should ever be closed. That's my opinion. Even our dissenters have a voice and should be given a voice. Horrible as the things that are said may be we need to give a voice so we can debate a topic that needs debate. How else will we show the reality unless we allow to be exhibited the lack of reality. Hatred of us is a reality. Through education we change that view of hatred, but we must let that hatred exhibit itself and then others who view it will see it as ludicrous or valid.

Chris Cillizza | 07 February 2017 "And the unflattering sendup by a female comedian was not considered helpful for Spicer’s longevity in the grueling, high-profile job, where he has struggled to strike the right balance between representing an administration that considers the media the “opposition party,” and developing a functional relationship with the press." --washingtonpost.com Sean Spicer is on thin ice because Melissa McCarthy played him on ‘Saturday Night Live’ ___________________________________________________________ Another reason to worry whether or not Trump will re-visit some way to repeal TGLB protections? A simple thing as a female actor portraying a ma…

Well, we survived the winds, although I confess I have not yet been outside this morning to check the roof. It's really cold, snow and mud covered, and I just am not ready to go through that door yet. Doors are funny things. There is a big purple door (I didn't do that, it came purple, the same weirdly ugly purple as the living room, although the bleaching from sunlight has done it some favors and it's less ugly now) between me and the world. Sometimes I resent the hell out of that door, and sometimes it's my best friend. Funny how I externalize my internal stressed onto an object like that, make it some sort of huge symbol in my mind and focus all the feelings I don…
