Musings On Tomorrow's Couple's Therapy Meeting
Veronica, You are 100% a lady RIGHT NOW. There are some cisgender women (like me!) who don't pass. I know you are a lady by the way you write, and I know I am a lady. Have to prove NOTHING to NO ONE. Monica

Two Steps Forward, One Step Back
Have news for "Pamela": When you make "you" statements, that is the same as pointing a finger at someone; you have three pointing back at you. Secondly, the most important thing is NOT how you pass as a woman. The most important thing is what is going on between the ears! Being a woman starts from the inside and works it's way out. It is NOT how you dress; it is how you ACT! Monica

Female talk
Karen, in my opinion, mothers and daughters feel more comfortable talking about sex, just as father and sons prefer to talk to each other about sex. Interestingly, women will talk to other women about sex, just as men talk to other men about sex. Think over time, your mother will treat you more and more like the daughter you are to her. Monica

Haunting thoughts
My Dear Friends, I had a nightmare childhood, and I am grateful I have found reconciliation with both my parents before they died. Sadly, although things have improved with my brothers (I have no sisters), we have a long ways to go. Eve, as for Guardian Angels, I believe they are REAL, and that the average person has not only one, but THREE! They never sleep and ALWAYS are alert, even when we sleep!! Your friend, Monica

Update
Dear Lisa, Rejoice when I see a woman take such good care of her mother, and stays in touch with her sister. Have three brothers and a half brother. Have no sisters. Have no children. Wonder how my life could have been different have I had children or a sister. Of course, it could be heartbreaking. They will be losing a son and a brother, but gaining a daughter and a sister! May God bless your family! Your friend, Monica

Deep waters
Karen, one thing that impressed me was that you were having ongoing dialogue with face to face friends and TGGuide members right up until going under the knife, and for that matter, as soon as you woke up, and continuing non-stop, which is the best way to live life!

Breast implants report
Dear Karen, As a cisgender woman, I had a 'B' Cup (34 B from ages 11 to 21. Weighed 125 lbs. and was 5'8." My measurements was 34-24-34. Wish I had those numbers today! LOL!! Yours truly, Monica

Sometimes the Most Loving Thing To Say is "No"
Dear Emma, I think you are a very good mother. Your son needs to learn boundaries. Your son is not independent, but willful. Feel that he is emotionally blackmailing his parents. Such a child will approach their mother FIRST. PLEASE hand tough, because, someday, you and his other parent won't be there to bail him out . . . My thoughts and prayers are with you . . . Your friend, Monica

Annoying things that annoying guys say on social sites.
Kristi, The only way I know to skip the "talk," is to attend gender conferences and try to make as many transgender friends as possible. Have found my beloved at a transgender support group (exploring whether I was transgender myself, which I am not). Having couple friends is one of the best ways to find a well put together partner, whether you are LGBTQ or not, in my opinion. Monica

Love and the transgirl
Dear Emma, A butch worth her salt would always pull out the chair for her lady, or hold open the door of a vehicle or building for her lady. Some butches know more about chivalry than many men! Yours truly, Monica

Annoying things that annoying guys say on social sites.
Dear Friends, Have been accused of being a transgender in an insulting way two years ago on a paid Lesbian dating website (http://www.pinkwink.com). Two years ago, was also on the two big name "free" dating websites, but not a nibble. Gave PinkWink another six month chance recently, but giving it up. However, it is worth a try, when it is only $40.00 a year. Have met on PinkWink a lady who found someone on one of the big name "free" dating websites only ten minutes from where she lived. Notice MANY scammers on the "free" and inexpensive dating websites. Now trying gender conferences to meet that special lady, and if that does not work, going to try "Compatible Companions," put out by the owner of eHarmony, for $240.00 or $250.00 a year (I can't remember which). About people far away making contact: In my case, I exhausted all the women participating from my county, and gradually expanded out. Of course, I am willing to relocate. Have found http://www.TGPersonals.com, which is free, the best of the transgender dating websites, in my opinion. Many of the transwomen there complain of guys trolling there looking for hookups, but I also found many great online friends there among the transwomen! Know that "one is the loneliest number," but being with the wrong person can be a nightmare! Yours truly, Monica
