Who are we, what are we, why are we here? Simple enough question but complicated under the surface and there is no single answer as people have their own reasons or their own agenda. Lately I have seen a slight influx of 'fakes' appearing, I do now apologise for using that term as its derogatory and unfeeling but it happens and although it's harmless and dishonest it does have a purpose. We are all fake in our online presence, sorry if you're not but most of us present as somebody we aren't, we may be bolder, or we may be more compassionate, unafraid of showing emotions we wouldn't dare to reveal to people we know and live with. We are a bit fake but is that a bad thing? No of course not, we are revealing our true inner self, the person we aspire to be, in reality im acutely shy, here im as fake as anybody can possibly be, I'm loud, obnoxious, im the Drew I want to be, but thats not me. Some go further they will post pictures of who they aspire to be, the person they dream they were and WHY NOT!!! We all have a vision, we all have a fantasy and I won't challenge an obvious fake revealing who the person in those photos really is, but allow them to continue living their illusion if that makes them happy doing so, who are we to destroy a person's peace. We are all looking for validity, we all seek a better self a life we deserved but were denied and if we chose to create that for ourselves without hurting others then why not. On the other hand I will also not compliment a person, on no account will I tell a person how wonderful they look if I know it isn't them, living an alternative reality I accept and have an understanding for but I will not contribute to.
