Transgender ID Change in Hawaii
Hawaii State ID Change
In order to change your name and/or gender marker on your driver’s license or identification card, requires one of the following:
- Naturalization Certificate.
- Decree by the Hawaii Lt. Governor’s Office
- Divorce Decree with name change listed
- Hawaii Marriage Certificate (Dept. of Health Document Only)
- Out-of-State Marriage Certificates (State issued with Seal)
- A certified statement by a physician stating sex change is valid
The current fee for a duplicate card is $4.
Hawaii Birth Certificate Change
You will need an original or certified copy of the letter from your SRS surgeon. A court order is not required.
