Transgender ID Change in Wyoming
Wyoming State ID Change
To change the gender on a driver’s license or identification card, you must present a medical statement from a physician indicating that you have completed the surgery necessary to effect a gender change. Applicants who present an out-of-state driver’s license or identification card must:
- If previously issued a Wyoming driver’s license or ID card, and the sex designation on the out-of-state license/ID is different from what is on the system, applicants are required to present documentation of the gender change.
- If never issued a Wyoming driver’s license or ID card, applicants will be issued as per the information contained on the out-of-state license/ID card.
After a legal name change, DSP must be notified within ten days of any change of name or address. You must appear in person at any Wyoming examination station and present legal proof of name change. A new license will be issued and a new driver’s license will be mailed to you.
Wyoming Birth Certificate Change
Wyoming will issue an amended certificate. The certificate will specify the birth name and the birth gender unless you can obtain a court order mandating a new certificate be created.

Hi, I’m sure this is the wrong spot, sorry. I would like to know if there are people who will talk to me if I am not distressed or unhappy. I just do not know what the heck is going on. I’m old, quite intact cognitively, but I found some things out over the past few years, very terrible things about the childhood I do not remember.
Turns out, based on a new memories, about a long ago childhood, I am not quite the man I thought I was. I am very serious about this. I do experience the symptoms of complex ptsd, and I am quite reclusive. I do not like email, facebook, or talking on the phone, but I am more than willing to text, if a message is sent. All of my information I have is second hand, other than some flashes of memory that I would rather not see. We moved when I was seven, because my mom thought I was going to be killed (told to me by my mom). We moved from the deep south, where I had revealed that I believed I was meant to be a girl. My WWII veteran, wildly alcoholic father, apparently did not take this news well. Whatever I learn, I will put to good and constructive use. I will put my phone number under web site. Thank you
